We had the most lovely stay at the University Arms in Cambridge. The staff was so friendly and accommodating and the hotel smelled amazing. The rooms were quite spacious and the beds were very comfortable! The bartenders in the lounge area were exceptionally kind and made delicious cocktails! I especially want to highlight the restaurant manager, Francesco. He was extremely gracious, welcoming, and professional and made our stay at the University Arms that much more wonderful. We will definitely stay here again!

The environment is elegant and the hotel is in an excellent location. Every waiter is very enthusiastic. Very British style, I will stay there next time if I have the chance. But there is one thing. The family room I booked is marked as 1.5*2 twin beds, but the bed is visually 1.2-1.3. It is very crowded for two people to sleep. I looked at the beds in other rooms and they are all the same size. Are they all the same size? ?

I came here with friends for a couples evening towards the end of a night out in Cambridge and we used the ground floor bar at the hotel. The ground floor bar is cozy with open and closed seating arrangements. you even sit an alcove with your other half to enjoy a drink. Later on, we got to enjoy a drink in a library of the hotel, which has a warm environment. The bar is an extensive cocktail and spirit menu and a good list of fine wines. There is even a wine cellar next to the bar We were served by the bar staff, Andy and Luca, who both did nice job at serving us drinks and looking after everyone. Both friendly and very approachable. Though I have not tried staying at this hotel or tried restaurant yet. But I get the impression from the decor of the hotel that you are likely to have a very comfortable stay.

The location is excellent which is at the city centre. The Grand shopping arcade is next to the hotel. Very convenient to the travelers. The hotel is at the city centre which walk 10 minutes can reach most of the important sites. However, the hotel forget to arrange housekeeping for my two rooms for one night. When I come back to hotel after whole day visit, I was surprise by the untidy room. I tried to call house keeping but the line is busy. I go down to the concierge but they could not help. They just said to make sure housekeeping will be arranged tomorrow. I was so disappointed. Moreover, I have requested laundry services on two consecutive night. The concierge said that both laundry can return to me after two day in one go. After two days, I asked the hotel to give back my laundry. They can only give back one pack of laundry. After my repeated complaint, they finally find out my second pack of laundry bag. Their service is quite disappointing.

Staff were very helpful on multiple occasions. First, we had to change our booking owing to the heatwave, and while Booking.com failed us in this regard, a quick phone call to Alex, the receptionist, got us all sorted. Secondly, the staff were very generous with provided fans, offering as many as we'd like, and thirdly when we had to use ”Send my Bag.com” to get some suitcases back home, they handled everything on their end perfectly and without charge. The hotel itself has some nice old interior decor, and the continental breakfast was very generous. Location was also a big plus, as it is difficult to find anywhere closer to the old university town. One small gripe would be that the en suite had a few minor spots missed in its cleaning, though the room itself was spotless.

The location is very good, directly opposite Starbucks, there are several Chinese restaurants on the street, go out for food without worry. It is also convenient to walk to the scenic spot. The entrance to the door is quaint, with a sense of nostalgia.

Call the landlord half an hour before check-in! He can come over and get the key to open the door, so he doesn't have to wait downstairs! Like a small apartment, the bathroom, laundry room, and dining room are separated. There is milk, juice and butter in the refrigerator, and you can cook your own meals. We stayed a night in this college and felt like a student of Cambridge. The location was quite central. On the room nothing to exclude, not very recent but still beautiful furniture, with wood on the walls and moquettes. There was a worrying picture of those who were supposed to be students of Cambridge in the 1930s, but it did not create too many problems: the bathroom might be improved, the shower was plastic, and the cleaning was not perfect. The washing room was small and the water was hard to go out. There was a interior garden where you could sit to look and a coffee was closed at the time we were in the hotel. Breakfast, The hotel was in a beautiful wooden room decorated in English style college, it was comprehensive and well as soft and salad, and it was all very good.

The rooms are located on the second floor of the bar, the decoration facilities are good, the cleaning is very clean, and the accommodation experience is OK. Although it is a bar, it is not very noisy at night. There will be some sound of vehicles passing by the room on the side of the road, but the impact is not big. The only downside is that there is no special lock-up room, and the cockroach is placed in the corner of the aisle without special care.
