Hotel Eden Palma Playa Adults Only

I would be very careful of this hotel. It looks nice outside and the location is great. However the rooms are very basic probably the most basic rooms I have stayed in. Tiny shower and limited space for clothes. The food however is good albeit first night it was cold. I don't mind luke warm food but this was cold. The other 3 night's however it was warm and although limited choice it was good. Breakfast was also good. The problem with the hotel and the reason we decided to move after 3 night's as we could take no more was the crazy rules in place. You can't get a cup of coffee to take to Room unless it's put in a plastic cup. They will not allow you to take any crockery to the Room Which I have never come across before. Also i have an issue with my back and use ice to help with the pain. We had to beg and basically plead to get a few cubes and it became embarrassing for my wife to request any due to the managers way in which such a simple request was handled. After 3 night's I couid not take this treatment and we moved up the road to another much friendlier hotel. One big plus this hotel has is Rosanna the lady who worked behind reception. She was amazing and the best part of the hotel. The resort is lovely and we will return. Also the jacuzzi is not heated.

My fiance and I stayed here for five nights in July, it was my first time ever visiting Mallorca, or any hot country for that matter. The hotel is a very short taxi ride from the airport, and is a short bus journey into central Palma, or the big Carrefour supermarket, for only 2Eu each way. Our room was plenty spacious, we had all the space we needed. We got exactly what we asked and paid for. The shower was a wee bit small as when I bent over I knocked the shower off, although I blame my big bottom for this! Towels replaced daily, room straightened up daily. Aircon in the room, takes a bit of getting used to but it works just fine. There is shower gel in a dispenser and little bars of soap for washing hands. The communal areas are clean and pleasant. The top floor has a jacuzzi which I found was rarely occupied, so I thoroughly enjoyed spending time in there. There are sun loungers to relax on and a beautiful view of the sprawling beach. Bar and outside area spacious and clean. Food was very varied and good quality. I'm a fussy eater and so tended to opt for just chips and plain food, but that is entirely a me problem and not something I would ever penalise the hotel for. My fiance really enjoyed the food, and we both loved that the selection changed each day. After the holiday each day I'd be saying 'I wonder what they're having for lunch/dinner today'! On the all-inclusive plan, the free drinks are basic but they get the job done! All the fanta limon you could ever want, and some nice juices on offer for breakfast. The staff are one of the big highlights of the hotel, all extremely friendly. In particular, two of the ladies at the bar were just hilarious! And they were very kind to me despite accidentally spilling my drink twice (I wasn't even drunk, just clumsy!). The lady on reception helped me find where the bus stop was, and on check-out day another lady sorted our taxi out for us. All staff multilingual and as a Brit I had no problem communicating, although I did try a bit of pigeon-Spanish! The hotel is across the road from the beach, and when we went, that part of the beach didn't get very busy. The hotel is also next to some nice bars, which we visited a couple of times to get cocktails. Overall, a really great place to stay and it made for a very memorable holiday. We would return in a heartbeat.

Devastated this hotel has been taken over by a company, although nice, they are stopping doing all inclusive this October , such a pity as it was a lovely place to stay and not full of big drinkers just a nice mix and affordable, but prices are way up for next year and just for half board so cost of living, wont be going back

Fantastic staff. Wonderful food and drinks on all inclusive. Super clean hotel. Front line room overlooking sea amazing. Wednesday disco great fun! Love that staff join in …. dancing queen Orianna. Breakfast and evening drinks on the terrace bar very chilled. Comfy beds. Wi-Fi ok. Thank you Clara for saving the day and locating bag from taxi. Really lovely holiday but made extra special by the fab staff.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Food was always fresh and tasty. Such good value for what we paid. The transfer time from the airport was very short which is ideal . The staff were very friendly , the housemaid was always smiling and polite. Apologies I didn’t get her name but we stayed in room 409. A special mention must go especially to Vanessa in the bar area who is definitely an asset to the hotel. If I have a criticism , it is that there is no shade available on the roof top. I appreciate that the area is not massive and maybe hazardous in certain weather conditions but if a shade could be available on request , that would help.

Positives; clean hotel, in nice location,friendly staff especially bar and dining room staff, food good, daily change of towels if needed, nice area on a lovely beach. Bus service to Palma was excellent very frequent and only €2 a journey. Nice cafes bars with excellent food in the area. Negatives; very thin walls that you can hear everything in other rooms. Only one coffee machine and toaster in dining room. Only entertainment one night a week a disco on a Wednesday. Would of been nice to have a kettle and a fridge in room. We were half board but upgraded for the day to try all inclusive which was only €34 for the two of us we found the drinks which were local not so nice as ones that we bought so we didn’t bother upgrading again.

One of the best hotel i have ever been so far!! Very clean,very beautiful location! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Special thanks to Martin from reception! He was very kind,helpful and professional!! We will be return! Devrim and Robin

To start with we booked Half board with Lastminute. When arriving for dinner we were told that we are not eligible for any drink (not even water) with our food. That made me mad . We were told to top up to Allinclusive (17€per person/day) waste of money . Food was average -very small buffet not many varieties . Room- very small( no cups, kettle available ) bathroom in poor condition-toilet broken , shower was hanging out. Dump on the silicone around shower (not amazing look)Towels u change at reception only ). Reception - speaks mainly German & Spanish , & little English ( like most of locals) . In general was a bit afraid to approach male receptionist- he looked a bit frustrated.

The maximum number of stars I would give this hotel is 2. Details: cons - ·Not Corporate friendly, internet speed for business slow ·all-inclusive not working from 10-11 am. ·beverages quality is very low, water tastes like water from the sea after the salt has been removed ·lunch and dinner cant be consumed outside the restaurant. ·snacks, cookies or drinks cant be taken to rooms, consumption only at terrace or bar in the morning otherwise the personal will stop you and throw it in the bin. ·minibars at rooms are empty ·extremely low quality of cleaning service (they only change the trash bins) ·no fresh towels daily, we had to please the cleaning service to get new ones every two days ·personally worst bed madrassas, the wooden frame of the bed was broken and madrassas was "wooblely" like it was new 25 yeas ago ·bathroom quality low, only one small soap for two people for 11 days, shower too small 45x90 cm for dwarf only.. ceiling and tiles on the walls dirty AF.
