Siripanna Villa Resort & Spa Chiang Mai

Charoenmueng Chiang Mai|1.84km from Tham Pratheep Church Chiang Mai
We always like to start with the good so here was the good. The staff at Siripanna Villa was friendly, helpful, courteous and spoke fine english. The rooms are spacious with plenty of outlets, and storage. Unfortunately the bad outweighed the good. Here is our list and it lines up with many others: 1). The hotel is past its prime and could use significant renovations. The bathrooms were dark and the beds were HARD AS A ROCK. The massage tables we enjoyed around Chiang Mai would have been a welcome respite rather than the beds. 2). The bugs in the lobby and breakfast area were a bit much, not to mention the stray cat that decided to join us one morning. The breakfast was less than expected compared to the rest of the 4/5 star hotels we have stayed at in Thailand (so far). 3). The location is not convenient to much of the great things to enjoy in Chiang Mai. 2 examples, our 1st day we decided to hit the closest massage as soon as we arrived. We found that the 1.8 mile walk through back streets was a bit much. 2nd, we wanted sushi for our last meal last night. We took a Grab taxi that was almost 300 Baht (for those who count taxi rides in massages, that is 1 extra Thai massage we could have enjoyed!) 4). Our room smelled like mold and there are no washcloths provided in the room. In fairness, Covid may have hit the Siripanna Villa hard as the Italian restaurant that was on the property was permanently shut down. We hope this review is useful to others....PS If you want to experience the BEST elephant farm experience in Chiang Mai you should visit Patara. They provided an INCREDIBLE day for us.

Small Luxury Hotels of the World - 137 Pillars House

Nawarat Chiang Mai|1.85km from Tham Pratheep Church Chiang Mai
I came here just because of the reputation, and stayed for four nights in a row. After returning to China, I took a closer look. I should make a serious and responsible review, which can provide an objective review with reference value. First of all, it is indeed an online celebrity hotel, with exquisite scenery, smart garden planning, and many photo spots. If you don’t care about the budget, you can stay for one night. It’s meaningless to stay too much. Andana not far away is much more cost-effective . Secondly, the service is very average. The man who speaks Chinese is just for checking in. The male waiter at the front desk is very cold, and the hotel is very stingy. Except for the ice, everything else needs money. You can’t take away the worn slippers, otherwise you need to pay the bill. In fact, I don’t want to take it away. However, this kind of haggling, and the price is too high, I really feel conflicted in my heart. There is no customer service delivery service after nine o'clock in the evening, so bring your own instant noodles. Finally, regarding the price, the room is not big, and the area is large in the bathroom and balcony. In Chiang Mai, the price/performance ratio is not high. Looking at the house, I think it is small. I upgraded the suite on the spot for 6,000 yuan a day, and the price/performance ratio is really low. Compared with the four seasons, it is ok I stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel, because I went to live in the Four Seasons Pool Villa later, the price was only a few hundred, but the scale, refinement, service, and rooms were very different. Therefore, from the perspective of affordability, it is not recommended to choose to stay. If you want to take pictures, you can go to a restaurant for a meal. If you have financial strength, it is recommended to suite, because the other bedrooms are a bit cramped. The point is, the breakfast is simple and not worth getting up early to eat. In addition, Ctrip has an advantage, the on-site upgrade is more than 100 more expensive than Ctrip, because the order cannot be modified, there is no way but to upgrade at the hotel price. Cleaning is not professional enough, and I saw insects when I went back to my room at night. I stayed in the Golden Triangle Tent Hotel, in the deep mountains and old forests, and there were no rooms. It can only be said that this is a local Thai brand, and there is a gap between it and the international five-star hotel. The Chinese service will only say hello, and only one of the three service requirements will be completed. The hotel's hardware investment is insufficient, and the rain shower room is not small, but the water is like teardrops, and it is uncomfortable to wash. It is proposed to repair, and the water output is a bit larger, but it should not be so small for low floors. In short, you can live there, just for a day or two. Men, please pay attention. There is a balcony and you can smoke.

Stay again for sure Reserve a family room, a spacious room, a comfortable bed, 2 rubber pillows, open the door to see the pool view. It is a salt water pool, not very deep, so children can play. very like children The service personnel are good, friendly, there are services and facilities that are convenient and ready. The only disadvantage is that the entrance is quite narrow. Because coming to the Fortuner car, the entrance is very suitable for the car, there is a risk of scratching the car And if it's still a rather sharp curve But inside the hotel is very ok It's private, not loud at all. Come to stay again, of course, the price is very cheap. Must come if Chiang Mai to relax and save the budget. The place is in the city too. very ok with this place Check-in a little bit late, that is, the staff did not adjust the price. I like it very much 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖 Stay again for sure. On a business trip to Chiang Mai, I chose this hotel by chance. Unexpectedly, I found a treasure and had a very special stay experience. Overall, all the facilities in this hotel are very new and the rooms are clean and tidy. I learned from the front desk staff that this hotel has only been open for a few years (unfortunately, it has encountered a special period of three years and is still persisting silently). It is said that before 2019, there will be a large number of Chinese tourists staying for a long time, so the service signs in the hotel lobby, rooms, restaurants, etc. are specially equipped with Chinese and English prompts. Many tourists choose this place. I guess besides the important factor of being very quiet at night, the traffic here is very convenient, and it is very convenient to come from the super highway; I tried to walk from the hotel to the Central Festival, which is about 1.2 kilometers, that is, It only takes ten minutes; it is about 1 kilometer from the hotel to Chiang Mai Railway Station and only a few hundred meters to Chiang Mai Long-distance Bus Station. No wonder this hotel is very popular. I would like to add that this time I stayed in a room on the first floor of the hotel. I didn't expect to open the curtains and go straight to the swimming pool. I opened the floor-to-ceiling windows and could sit on a chair by the pool for a nap. This was an unexpected surprise. The breakfast is also very good, offering a rich variety of buffets. In addition to the Western style, I personally think that the northern Thai style bone soup rice porridge is close to Chinese food, and the taste is quite good. Finally, the staff I met in the hotel provided very good service, and their gestures truly reflected the hospitality of Thailand as a country of smiles. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to them!

Rainforest ChiangMai Hotel

Charoenmueng Chiang Mai|0.72km from Tham Pratheep Church Chiang Mai
I am currently staying at the Rainforest Boutique hotel. It is such a laid back lovely hotel the staff are amazing so helpful and friendly the rooms are basic, clean and comfortable, but fabulously spacious, well the deluxe room is can't comment on the others as I'm in a deluxe with a super king size bed. Sunken Lanna bath separate shower room and separate toilet, then a separate dressing area. It has two pools. A lovely open air restaurant. Laid in bed on a night you can hear the rainforest noises and the flow from the pool waterfall. It's not far out of the main city a taxi into the city or tuktuk will cost around a 100 bhat roughly £3. It offers a free shuttle bus service to the night market at 8pm each night Mr lucky the bus, come taxi driver is so lovely and full of fantastic information about the history of Chiang Mia and where to go. You can book private personalized tours with him cheaper than you can with the tour company. He is that lovely as I was walking along the road he stopped while riding his motorbike and asked where I was going when I told him just up the road to the 7/11 store he said hop on I'll drop you off I'm going past when I asked how much he said no charge. His sons also drive taxis so there is always one available at cheap prices. It's a little hidden gem is the Rainforest Boutique hotel would definitely stay here again instead of in the old city oh and the price is very cheap💕

March 2022 to August 2022: I live in Chiang Mai and my mother is visiting from India and this was a perfect location based on our location to put her up at. Daily rates include breakfast and cleaning. We opted for monthly and got a great deal. She's been living here since March. Rooms are good, big enough, clean, fresh, good beds, air conditioning, refrigerator, kettle and if you go for the bigger room and the family room you get a small workable kitchen with a electric gas and chimney. Water and laundry machines are in the building. They can come for cleaning your room and changing the sheets at a nominal cost. There is a restaurant (limited hours and limited but good food and coffee), gym, swimming pool. Parking space is available. We'll connected to the city with cabs and I'm sure the reception can help and guide you. They are very prompt in their communication. There's a small garden and play space. Clean and tidy. Quiet and peaceful. Free WiFi. Recommended for everyone, single, couples, family.

Stayed at the hotel 8th to 19thSept. both cottage & hotel. The whole hotel had a look of lost interest & tiredness, example the restaurant advertised promotion was a cheeseburger. boring menu, no speciality of the day, hence I saw few people using the restaurant. breakfast had been O.K if included in package, pricey if not. It was as if interest and present-day needs had been left behind. There were no shops in walking distance, fine not the hotels' fault, but instead of a small shop facility around the reception, as enough space, A small cabinet, with a few crisps and not much else. the whole place could have done with a lick of paint. Plus, the pool arrear lack of facilities to sun bath, (four wooden sunbeds in the shade no cushions on.) Positive aspect, rooms in hotel very pleasant roomy & including a comfortable bed, cleaned every day. The chalets could be fab but need some tender loving care and cut back all the shrubbery it is taking over the place. On the whole good value for money, maybe these are the reasons stated why it is, but it could be brilliant with thought and imagination, someone needs to get hold of it & give it a good shaking.

The room is spacious and clean, but the outside of the hotel is looks deserted, but actually open normally, inside the new room is clean. Little parking, the hotel is in the alley, you can't see the building because the trees are blocking. Lovely staff in every part.

The location of the hotel is a bit far from the ancient city of Chiang Mai, but the hotel is relatively new, the rooms are clean, and the service staff are very polite. It's a pity that the hotel does not include breakfast. Breakfast is charged separately, and it is relatively expensive, and the price/performance ratio is not high. I hope that breakfast can be included in future stays.

I stayed for one night because i missed a bus and had zo stay an additional night in Chiang Mai. Overall my impression of the hotel is very good. The rooms are nice and clean and have everything you need. Directly across the street you ind a 7-11 and a ton of food vendors. Very neat. There is only one thing that was kinda awkward. I was in chiang mai because i had a accident and had to go to the hopsital. When the accident happened my phone brke so i couldnt call a taxt so asked at the reception if they could call me an indrive. And they refused that. I tried to explain my situation but hey didnt want to call an taxi for me. Never ever have i experienced that in a hotel before.
