Hotels near Botanika in Bremen

Very modern and well-kept hotel located right next to the race track. The staff caters to the guests' wishes. You feel very well looked after. The rooms are modern and excellently equipped. The bed was also great, slept very well. The breakfast is wide-ranging, so there is something for everyone, big compliments to the kitchen: the food tastes fantastic!

The laundry cost 5 euros, which is fine but I was disappointed that when I was told I could get the laundry at five pm, when I arrive at the laundry room it wasn’t ready. The location is about five minutes walk from the central train station. If you arrive very late at night, I recommend staying highly vigilant. Better have company if you really need to go out at night. The staff is very friendly. But there’s a sign in from of the hotel that says don’t bring any firearms or knife there. Wonder what happened before the sign was erected. The room that was assigned to me didn’t face a highway, and I was able to use the microwave and the fridge in the hotel It’s about 5 minutes walk to the museum and about 15-20 mins walk to downtown center. A very good location for business people.

This is a hotel build 1955 with a lot of soul !! Yes its seen its been used for many years but the soul and the service and dedication Staff Way compensate for this ! At the front of the Hotel there is s outdoor 35 degree heated pool with a Great (No Clothes) Wellness and Sauna area 4 x Saunas and Steam .. The breakfast was very good Also served by dedicated friendly Staff.. The Gym doesnt come much better at a hotel and i visited a Lot the last 20 years.. TechnoGym new with the most magnificent view and great Cardio gear also Technogym🙏🏼 The park is right outside u feel like far away from a city turn 180 degrees after hours of walking in the park and you walk straight into Bremen.. My advise don’t expect some newly renovated hotel but a house with soul lot of memories and warm and relax in the pool and park 🙏🏼

We had to check in at 15:00, 2 rooms booked, everything was payed in advance. Arriving by 15:00 they tell us that one room is ready and the other will take 30 minutes, so I went up 30 mins later and had to wait another 20 minutes, just because the supervisor saw me waiting in the hall,otherwise it would have taken longer. At the reception they just said sorry and they couldn't even explain because the english level was not to keep a conversation, only one lady could speak English well, but she couldn't be there during all my stay, ofc. We stayed 3 days for business, and because they didnt give me the room at the time I lost one meeting. Also, 2 days after the stay they came to clean the room and took one cigarette from my pack that was on the table, not difficult to remember when I had 3 left and after arriving to the room I had 2 left. The curtains had some old spots like from the last century. The rooms are super small, feels like in a cave, but ok, I'm not a princess. The cleaning is ok, I asked for one more towel because they provide 2, and never got it. The breakfast buffet is 15€ but very few options, so I recommend to cross the street and have an amazing breakfast in the bakery for 15€ per 2.

Having stayed at Hotel Universum before, we again booked a busines plus room with air conditioning. We had chosen the Universum for the easy access by car and the excellent nearby tramway to the city centre of Bremen. This time we also preferred Universum for its apparently very strict Covid-19 measures. First impressions were excellent. Greeted by a friendly and very precise women at the reception and by a nice comfortable, very clean room. Next two days we also enjoyed a very good and fresh breakfast with lots of choices and very attentive staff (tall man and young woman), making sure that everything was kept shipshape. A model of efficiency and quality. Alas, the third and final day meant new staff at breakfast, with a much more leisurely approach. Didn’t made sure that enough clean plates were available, didn’t fill up the scrambled eggs container, and the delicious bacon had completely disappeared, dirty plates were left at our table. Antithesis to the previous experience. And it continued, when checking out the man at the reception was wearing the required mask, but only over the mouth, thus defeating the whole purpose. Made him aware that he had to cover the nose. Well, we hope that Hotel Universum in the future will want to keep up the standard set by staff the first two days.

The Courtyard is located next to Bremen Hbf railway station. The comfortable hotel was built in 2010 and offers 155 rooms and 3 suites over 5 floors. Part of the hotel is the restored Lloyd building from 1913 with artifacts of the North German Lloyd and Bremen's maritime past. Staffs are friendly and correct. Our room was nicely decorated and furnished, with a very good double-bed. The room had desk & chair, fridge, TV, wardrobe with iron & ironing board, safe, airco, club-chair & table, and coffee & tea making facility. We had a separate bathroom with washbasin, toilet and shower. Free Wi-Fi Internet. Windows can be opened. All was clean. An adequate buffet breakfast is served with a good variety: scrambled eggs & bacon, boiled eggs, sausages, cold cuts, ham & cheeses, bread & toast, rolls & croissants, cereals, fruit juice, milk & yoghurts, preserves, tea & coffee. When you like to stay in an adequate town hotel, Courtyard Bremen is the place for you.

The hotel is located in the city center, surrounded by downtown commercial streets, and the traffic is fairly convenient. Welcome chocolates and fruits are provided on the day of check-in. There is also a handwritten card, which is very warm. There are also disposable slippers and toiletries provided in the room, which is not easy in Europe, and it is considered very thoughtful. The hotel’s breakfast is quite plentiful, but it’s a pity that I stayed there for 3 days without any changes. I eat exactly the same thing for breakfast every day, which is a bit crumbling. The hotel does not have free parking. You have to park in the parking lot next to it for 12 euros a day. If you can’t find the parking staff during non-working hours, then you have to pay 12 euros for each entry and exit, which is very inconvenient.

The hotel room is spacious and tidy, with kitchenware and the heating is very warm.

Abundant breakfast, buffet breakfast, very suitable for bringing children, wide room, particularly good location. A few hundred meters from the railway station, a ten-minute walk to the city center, there is an underground parking lot. There is a very beautiful green space opposite the hotel

We had a number of issues resolving the booking with the Hotel prior to our visit but this did get resolved to our satisfaction prior to visit eventually. Easy check in, room was ideal for weekend break lots of nice contemporary touches both in room and within the Hotel. Excellent breakfast included in room rate. Location is prime for a break in Bremen. Highly recommended, good value for money, the number 6 Tram to/from airport stop is approx 100 Mtrs from Hotel, making it super easy to transit without need for taxi transfer.
