Chiayi City Hotels with Parking

This is a comfortable and classic ********* style hotel! It’s super clean and the service is awesome! They have a mini bar downstairs with some cookies and sodas. The food is just okay but it has variety of them. We can make our own traditional local dish, and it is fun to cook our own noodles! It’s sad that the season we arrived was too cold so the pool and the ceiling bar was closed :( But to us it’s still a perfect accommodations experience. It also close to several nice food! Definitely recommend:)

Booked the Classic Triple Room, room was very spacious and comfortable. Hotel also allowed us to store our luggage with them overnight, even after checkout, as we wanted to go up Alishan with lighter luggage. Breakfast buffet had a good variety of food. There was also a 火鸡肉饭店 nearby that was very yummy. Would stay here again if I were to visit Chiayi again.

The breakfast has a variety of choices, and is also paired with local ingredients ~ very hearty! We had a dream bubble trip in the afternoon on the day of check-in. The children had a lot of fun. It would be better if there was more bubble water. Great stay!

Orient Luxury Hotel in Chiayi offers extremely nice and comfortable rooms, perfect for a relaxing stay. However, the air-conditioner couldn’t be switched off and was a bit noisy, which might be inconvenient for light sleepers. The breakfast buffet was good but very busy, primarily catering to local guests, which can feel a bit overwhelming during peak times. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few minor drawbacks

Location is convenient as is very near to the train station. Though is located on the quieter side of the town. Room / facilities are great and clean. Free flow of coffee/tea for most of the day with some titbits. Breakfast was good 👍

The floor carpet is thin and the color looks dirty. Interior of the Room We booked a deluxe double room, but when we entered the room, it was not as spacious as the hotel described. The rooms shown by the hotel had carpets, but the room I got did not. The bathroom has double basins, separated wet and dry areas, and the shower and toilet are each set up in independent spaces. There are traces of unclear cleaning on the floor of the toilet area, and there is a hairpin and hair left on the ground by the previous owner. What is worth praising in the bathroom space is that the water pressure is strong and hot enough. The floor material does not give off a high-quality feel, and the silicone used in the seams between the washbasin and the wall shows how sloppy the construction was. The TV is an LG smart TV, which is easy to operate, has a wide range of channels and can watch YouTube. There is a common problem in many hotels to save costs. The walls of the partitions adjacent to the next door are always light, which makes it easy to hear the movements of the next door, and the sound of the elevator can also be heard on the other side adjacent to the elevator. The bed is big and not too soft, the pillows are on the soft side, but you can request different types of pillows from the hotel. Snacks in the minibar and drinks in the refrigerator are free to use. It is now generally advocated that disposable amenities should not be provided proactively, but Voco's practice is that even if customers actively request, the hotel will not provide them passively, but customers must pay for them. This practice is ”not providing” rather than ”not actively providing”. This is the first time I have encountered a hotel doing this. I find it outrageous. For a room rate of NT$8,300 a night, they are reluctant to provide a toothbrush. At the check-in counter, I can see customers rushing to buy toothbrushes. It is really funny. ”breakfast” The breakfast is just average, mediocre. The best dish is Chiayi chicken rice, which is really delicious. However, the HEINZ ketchup provided on the table was actually expired, which was really unacceptable. Because I found it difficult to squeeze out when I wanted to use it, and the color of the squeezed liquid was very dark and looked spoiled, I turned it over to check the expiration date, and it was already 2 weeks out of date. I hope the kitchen staff will have a better understanding of food hygiene and safety. That's about it. This is a disappointing stay. In fact, the quality of the stay is just that of an ordinary business hotel, but it costs 8,000 yuan, and no toothbrush is provided. I have stayed in other hotels in the InterContinental Group system and there have never been such disappointing things that ruin the experience. I hope the hotel can strengthen cleaning and food hygiene maintenance, because it is really not worth the price and I will not come again.

It's a great bang for the buck place. It is very close to all the touristy places in Chiayi. Free parking in an open space parking lot about 300 meters away on the same street as the hotel. So be aware that you must walk with your luggage back to the hotel after parking. Unless you have another person wait at the hotel first with your luggage. The staff at check-in told me if I gave a positive Google review they'd give me an upgrade to my room and I did give them a positive Google review before even seeing what the room looked like. But I was very pleased with the room upon seeing it. The whole place was clean and spacious and the window in my room was big. Free breakfast with my booking as well. I like this place for the price and I will book again if have the chance. Breakfast was great. Buffet style with lots of options but don't expect it to be a feast as it's a breakfast.

Had a comfortable stay in this clean hotel with comfy double beds. Delicious buffet breakfast too! Will definitely be back Only downside is lack of washing machines in the hotel
