"we absolutely loved our stay at the shangri la. we weren't supposed to stay there but had to find a hotel in manila last minute after our connecting flight to siargao was cancelled.
the area is very safe with lots of shopping around. there is a kids adventure land (have to pay extra though) and the restaurant at the pool is fab. i attended a very special yoga class at the gym. i really couldn't have asked for more."

"actually, this is better than averaged. except for 2 things, one is too many tiny small cockroaches in the room, i at least killed 6 in 3 nights. another is they dont have washing machines. the rest is ok, even better than average. i definitely will come back, but hope the warns to be killed before that."

"The waiters were very nice and nice. Helped to call a car, wash and iron, and allowed me to continue to take a nap at noon on the day I left the shop. I didn't check out until 2pm.
The duplex structure and decoration are quite unique, but the geographical location is not the best. Overall, it is completely inconsistent with the price of 731 yuan per night.
That day, because the company's hotel was full, I temporarily found such a place and thought it was more than 600 yuan. As a result, taxes and fees were included, which exceeded the reimbursement standard."

"When I walk into the room, I immediately check if the room is well cleaned and maintain. However its too dusty on the floor there is no slippers to wear on, when u check the bathroom u’ll see the bathtub and check there is something dirty and greasy running down on one of its pump something. Then the edges of the tiles around the shower area u’ll see its not well maintained and the tissue was used. The overall appearance or the room is perfect the couches and even the air condition really makes the room feel cold. One of may favorite part is the Make up side where there is a vanity mirror, tv has good reception. Staffs are friendly and they do allow visitors but of course limits when they can only stay. Its an overall good experience but due to the poor cleanliness at the area I have to give an honest review. Also price is too cheap for 1 night stay for two which is really affordable and of course worth it."

GGuest UserService - minus 1 star as check in wasnt as breezy as one would hope. Went to the lobby - it’s your usual 3-4 star lobby. But our contact was at the lobby extension. Apparently, the main lobby was for permanent residents - transients have a different reception area on the other side of the driveway. It was a square and sparse airconditioned room with 2 or 3 3-seater sofas, a desk for the person in charge and 2 seats for the first in line. It felt more like a triage room than a reception area. Check in is at 3pm and there was a queue (aside from those seated, 5 or more were standing in line). The afternoon sun was shining through the glass doors - be ready to wear sunglasses indoors during the wait if youre worried about uv rays. We were there a qtr past and were next in line. Apparently the ones before us had issues with their reservation since the owner of their unit never relayed their booking info to the bldg mgt. Ours was prepared though - they had a representative who reached out to us during the morning of check in. Basically the rep dealt with the bldg mgt’s person in charge - we just had to show our IDs and wait.
Location is great - lots of food options just a block away in any direction.
Room Amenities - pretty standard: absolute water (4 small bottles), shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrush & toothpaste, shower cap, cotton pads & q tips. Their bath towels were super fluffy though
Cleanliness - pretty standard.

The staff at Grand Hyatt Manila are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. From check-in to dining and concierge services, the team is professional, warm, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their hospitality truly enhances the overall guest experience.
**Check-Out Process:**
One area that could be improved is the check-out process. During my stay, it took around 40 minutes to complete, which felt unnecessarily long. This delay was a bit frustrating, especially when trying to wrap up a trip efficiently. Streamlining this process would greatly improve the guest experience.
**Overall:**
Grand Hyatt Manila offers a luxurious stay with a fantastic location and outstanding service from the staff. However, the lengthy check-out process is a notable drawback. If this aspect is addressed, the hotel would be nearly perfect for both business and leisure travelers.

AAnonymous UserI recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. One of the best things about it is the location—it's incredibly accessible to nearby attractions. The mall, convenience stores, and other popular spots are just a short walk away, which made getting around super easy and convenient. However, one area that I believe needs improvement is the check-in process. I had to wait for almost 15 minutes just to check in, which was a bit frustrating after a long journey. To enhance the guest experience, I recommend the hotel consider installing automatic check-in machines to speed up the process and reduce wait times.
Aside from that, everything else met expectations and I’d still consider staying again for the location alone.

AAnonymous UserSince it’s holyweek, I understand that there’s a lot of people checking in. But having limited parking slots for guests checking in is disappointing. There’s no valet parking as well. Instead that we could check in at 2pm and enjoy our room, we have to wait for 2.5 hours to get a parking. I don’t want to ruin the day because it’s my birthday and upon getting into our room, there’s this funky smell as you open the door. It’s horrible. And the pool is under maintenance. I do hope when there’s issues like this, the property should also inform the booking app before hand.

JJesse AcasoLove the view from the balcony, the host was very responsive, they are actually a team that I guess entertained for all the guests and they are very attentive and warm. I ask them to entertain my sister and my family as they are already in the lobby and they are very quick to respond, kudos to the host and team. My only other feedback is the pool access is not available for guests during weekends and holidays but the main purpose of renting the place was during holiday staycation so I'm giving 2 stars for the amenities only. 5 stars for the room itself ( love the interior design btw 😍) and 5 stars for the service cleanliness, the location is superb.

GGuest UserThe good: once I had the right room, it was great. Great location with a connection to the mall. Great view on a high floor.
The bad: I was given the wrong room from the one I booked. The host did not respond until I eventually had to contact trip.com, and they were able to contact the host. Basically, I was able to get the corrwxt room the next day, which was great except for when i discovered there was no toilet paper anywhere to be found in the room. I was given the wrong combo to the room and wouldn't have been able to enter if it wasn't for the help of the nice cleaner. The room wasn't ready, and I had to wait for cleaning after i arrived at checkin time.
I had a LOT of problems with booking this place. If not for all the issues, it would have been great. I guests Goodluck to the next guests.

JJoana DavidLocation is convenient, there’s a Starbucks, McDonald’s and 7 11 store across the road. 2 minutes away from uptown mall. The room is enough for me with 2 luggages. The staff are all accommodating and friendly. Don’t forget to bring your own toiletries and buy bottle of water.
