Excellent location for access to the sea (Albufeira beach) and the cliffs. Center reachable in 15m via the beach but also with a free shuttle bus provided by the hotel. Nice swimming pool (chilly for the season). Excellent breakfast and quite variable buffet with extended hours. Structure a little dated, in particular the room (the neighbors' air conditioning is a little noisy and needs some revision)
Such polite staff and very helpful always smiling. Rooms are perfectly adequate and sizeable. The amenities are terrific with a fun and large pool area which is clean and gets lots of sun year round
Perfect location if you’re looking to stay near the beach. Walking distance to Albufeira city center, around 15 minutes. The bathroom needs a renovation but it’s a 3 star hotel. The bed is very comfortable. The air conditioning was perfect! Our room had a very nice terrace , with a beach view.

At first glance, better than I expected, however, we find negative points with the course of the stay: the waiting time at reception is crazy, it seems a Portuguese public service. It is not acceptable that with so many guests there is only one person to take care of every time... The hotel's jacuzzi, which is included in the price, has ice water and only smoke 2 air outlets. So it is almost impossible to be. Nice but useless... In the pay-payed SPA, there are tb aspects to improve for that, because when paid and within a 4 stars, you cannot have doors to drag through the floor, for example, as you have in the women's toilet. Tb there are security doors that do not open in the bars what is very strange and the most strange is still not there is security equipment in the kitchen as an extinguisher or shelter as it has a fog.
However, the reconstruction has been successful and I hope that these aspects will be improved quickly because I wanted to return to the hotel.
The problem with this hotel is the management. The hotel is very big and the route sign is not clear. I was lucky to find the room after walking for 30 minutes. And the breakfast information is wrong, the parking information is wrong. These problems should be improved through management, and good results should be obtained.

We are glad that we booked this hotel. The beach view was breathtaking and remarkable. Not to mention its excellent location where the old town cobbled street is just right in front of the hotel. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast where they offered great selections and indeed one of the best breakfasts we've tried in our Portugal trip. Hotel staff were mostly friendly, especially those in the restaurant, except for the housekeeping staff who refused to give us extra drinking water on the next morning even before we checked out.
- Lovely cosy apartment, that looked even nicer and more modern than on the photos.
- While not super big, the space has been very cleverly used and it felt like having my own mini home.
- Kitchen is well equipped, so you can really use it to cook your own dinner (I just missed a colander to drain rice and vegetables, but I realise it must be impossible to cater for every individual guest's preferences). Enough pots, pans, cutlery, even a corkscrew and dishcloth are provided. No spices, oil or sponge though, so (quite understandably) you need to buy or bring a few things yourself.
- Lovely balcony, sunny most of the day and I could even watch the sea from there.
- Good location, as long as you're fine being near ”The Strip” (and not so near the old town). Very close to the beach. In a central but quiet location (at least in February, but my guess is that it's just far enough from the Strip to be reasonably quiet in busier months as well). About a 10 minute walk from Santa Eulalia bus stop from where you can take a bus to Faro (and other places on that route, such as Vilamoura and Quarteira). It's about a 40 minute walk to the main bus terminal. There's also a city bus, but I never really worked out that system (taxis are everywhere too and apparently not very expensive either).
- Great value for money. I extended my stay by 2 more nights and certainly recommend this place.
While I very much enjoyed my stay here, there are a few small things that could possibly still be improved. Those are really just small details though!
- I'd suggest putting a few extra bin bags in the apartment. Cleaning takes place every 3 or 4 days, which is totally fine. But especially if guests cook in the apartment, the rubbish contains food rests and starts smelling after a few days. It's no problem to change the bag myself, but having a few extra bags in the room would be helpful.
- There's an illuminated ”emergency exit” sign above the apartment's entrance door, on the inside the room. That's really annoying at night, because it's like always keeping one light switched on in your bedroom. Can't those signs be placed outside the room? I ended up covering it with a dark T-shirt every night, which solved the problem too;-)
- There's no socket near the bed.

I went to Albufera in southern Portugal and found a hotel by chance while searching for a tour of Benazill Caves and dolphins.
There is no Korean review and only foreign reviews.
The hotel was not big but clean and the staff were friendly
The hotel was in the center of the Old Town, so all the amenities were easy to use and the accessibility was also the best location
The street scenery and the sea natural environment from the window are very beautiful, but it's a bit noisy in the center of the old town.
But it's a good place to hear such noise.
Be sure to go

GGuest UserThis a truly wonderful place. Rooms are spacious and beautiful. Staff very friendly and helpful. Amenities great! Highly recommended.
GGuest UserI made a good decision to reserve a room with a clearer view of the sea than a regular room. It was nice that the two balconies could be used as one, and the bed room and living room were separated. The reception and staff were all friendly, and the beautiful sea of Albufeira was also nice. ^^ However, what was a little disappointing was that the bathtub did not have a shower booth in the bathroom, and the water pressure from the shower head was weak, so it was difficult to wash. ㅜㅜ Other than that, everything was okay ^^
AAliciouFrom the staff at the establishment to the breakfast, the swimming pool, the SPA, the services, the welcome, the smiles, the kindness, the calm, everything was perfect! Thank you for these few days by your side!
GGuest UserWe had the most wonderful stay at Patio Suite Hotel!! The staff were all lovely and were so accommodating! Highly recommend going all inclusive, such good value for money and the food was great (including a few vegetarian options). It was easy to get the shuttle to and from the beach. Although would suggest getting an Uber (they are quite cheap and there are plenty) to other nearby beaches if you fancy something different (and a little less busy)!
Mmicky sibalhello
this was our second trip my first trip was last year in the same hotel and it was the best three years we had spent in any hotel we loved the hotel and everything from service to food location everything but this time we were treated horribly at the reception the perrsonal at the reception was the worst a hotel should have as the first contact first of all they gave us seperate bed to a couple and wheen we asked the beds to be joined the reception personal after half an hour waiting for somebdy to come and join the beds told us and that too in the worst possible way that the housekeeping will come when they have time the worst experience anybdy can have in t¡a hotel where u have booked a second time for the treatment u have had earlier i will not recommend anybdy to book this hotel i dont know it was because we booked through trip .com because they treated us real badi am really hurt by the treatment given by the reception staff to a paying client
CCurious KittyThe location is near residential area and is peaceful and quiet. Our room and balcony faces a not very pretty lot but it didn’t matter so much as we weren’t in the room much of the day. The room was clean and the kitchen very well equipped with utensils and appliances. the sofa bed sheets had some hair which was not too pleasant.
On one of the mornings, the electricity went out for 30 minutes but luckily it wasn’t too hot at that time.
As it was September, the hotel was fairly quiet most of the time although the front desk told us they were fully booked.
There were supermarkets nearly so it was convenient to get food and drinks, and there is a couple of very good Portuguese restaurants within walking distance.
JJinhoThis place has polarizing reviews.. After going there, I understand why.
The facilities and services are good. You can use the swimming pool, washer and dryer (performance is poor), sauna and spa for free, and although the building structure is unique (1st and 8th floor reception, 2 elevator transfers, etc.), it's okay if you get used to it.
We couldn't find the way by taxi, so we climbed the hill with our suitcases, but the reception on the first floor is near the spar mart. They were friendly, but the air conditioner was broken so I called twice and they didn't come so I just gave up.
This place is in the middle of the old town, so I actually made a reservation based on the location, but it's literally in the middle of the club street, so even if you're inside the accommodation, you'll be staying at the concert hall all night long. There's no soundproofing, so you have to enjoy it together until 5 a.m. The noise is another level, as foreign reviews say.
I’m traveling around the world, but this place is really ambiguous haha. The breakfast isn’t bad, but it’s just ambiguous… . Personally, I think it would be less noisy and better if it wasn't just in this alley because it's Albupay!!
DDaniela888The hotel is very well located, 15 minutes from the city center and right next to the beach. It is charmingly decorated and has a great view towards the city and the ocean. Some things are a bit old and could be better cared for. Our room could definitely use a renovation but still retains a great atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
The only downside was the breakfast organization today, not enough plates and cutlery and most no one to lift up the tables. Food was also scarse but tasty.
