"The hotel was convenient to a major highway, shopping and eateries. The room was nicely decorated with a comfortable chair to relax in. The hall was hot, poorly lit and the carpet looked dirty. There was a bag of garbage left at the ice machine for more than 12 hours, the soda machine did not work. The room was freezing and I was unable to adjust the thermostat to a comfortable temperature. The picture on the tv was terrible and there was a minimal number of channels to choose from. A cooked to order breakfast was included with the room, however, it was really a buffet with poor quality food."
"The surroundings are very quiet, the highway junction is very convenient, the staff is very nice, except the location is a bit biased, the rest are OK"
"Compared with urban hotels, facilities need to be improved. The service staff is polite and answer all questions. The surrounding transportation is convenient and the travel is convenient. Across the road is the train station."
Make our Super 8 Rahway/Newark hotel your home base in the New York metropolitan area. Located on Highway 1 and minutes from the NJ Turnpike and the NJ Transit station our hotel is just a short drive from Newark International Airport and New York City. We are close Conoco Phillips Hess Exxon Mobil and the Meadowlands Sports Complex.
"From the time that I walked into Home 2 Suites by Hilton I was pleased. The two gentlemen at check-in were very welcoming and informative. They explained everything about the hotel and offered information of places to eat near us. Our room was ready for us and very clean. Breakfast had a variety of choices and all was enjoyable with all areas very clean. Check-out went fast and smooth and I was asked how was my stay and if there were any problems. There was nothing negative fir me to say. Our stay was great! I am a freguent traveler and will definitely return to this Homes and Suites Hilton if in the area! "
"The transportation is very convenient and it is also close to Newark International Airport. The room is simply furnished and there is no microwave. The breakfast is quite rich. Overall, it is a relatively cost-effective hotel in New Jersey. Good review."
"Actually we looking for a cheaper room nearby the area, and accidentally picked the disabled room. To be honest, its not bad, the toilet with red light that can keep very warm after shower. The sink is out next to the bed is convenient for 2 people, if one using toliet, the other brush teeth or face cleaning. The area supposed for wheel chair turned to my yoga space. The bed probably with water proof sheet underneath make us feel very soft and comfortable. Breakfast is simple but ok. That's a good choice and we may stay again on the next trip."
