The reception staff were very friendly and attentive to my needs and it was quiet clean and relaxing as well as easy to find just of the M62. There were issues with the eating place next door being short staffed so it is probably an idea to eat before you arrive or check with the hotel what the situation is, Breakfast can also take a long time when they are short staffed too.

We stay here often when we come away and as always the staff are lovely and go above and beyond. We forgot to mention asking for an accessible room when booking and happened to ask at reception if they had any available. The lady at reception kindly offered the 1st room just next to reception. I'm very grateful an accessible room was available, but even more so for how close it was to reception making it even easier for me to walk. If we had any questions they are always there and it feels secure and it's always comfortable staying here too. We will be back again! And thankyou!

Small error with the bed set up but as soon as I reported it, it was solved immediately. The lady on reception was a delight. Nothing was too much to ask and she was lovely with the children too. Always a lovely stay when we are at this hotel.

We booked a family room online for 2 adults and 1 child and then had to amend my booking with a member of staff over the phone due to my wife having had ankle surgery and needing an accessible room and being wheelchair bound.  When we got to the hotel, Sharon met us at the door and held the door open for us whilst we wheeled my wife and our bags into reception to book in.  On booking in, it turned out that the accessible room we booked only had a double bed in it, and didn't have a spare bed for my son, who was skating in a ice skating competition the next day and needed a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked and no spare beds were available!   I was about to resign myself to a night spent sleeping on the floor, but Sharon went above and beyond and found a spare bed from storage and dragged it through the hotel and made it up for us so my son could get a decent night's sleep.  Thanks Sharon, for the amazing customer service. I would have given 5/5 if it wasn't for the mistake when we changed our booking to an accessible room.

Excellent staff and very helpful and I will definitely be staying here again on business, clean & very tidy. From the moment I arrived I was greeted with a smile and when I asked about the car parking the ladies explained the rules and I signed my car in and was all sorted.

Had a short visit to see family and stayed here. Rooms are well equipped, clean, comfortable and warm. It's the second time I have stayed here and would definitely stay again. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The ability to get extra tea and coffee is brilliant too

Took our Grandaughter to visit Eureka and stayed over night here, staff were lovely and friendly. The room was warm and cosy, There was no noise from the road and the shower gel smells divine. There are a few food outlets nearby, but we chose to eat in the pub next door, the food, ambience and staff are great, staff were so friendly and helpful, couldn't do enough for us. We had a little issue with our lamps so hubby popped to reception to let them know, Georgia came back with him to have a look, she was amazing, got the problem sorted really quickly and efficiently. We loved staying there that much we've re booked to go back soon.

Georgina at reception was absolutely incredible. She went above and beyond when my family didn’t know where to eat for dinner, she very kindly called around all the local best rated restaurants and provided us with a list of around 10 restaurants with times we can book a table for, she totally didn’t have to do that and it really made our day, so thank you!
