"This is a beautiful resort located in the middle of the canyon. It's a little bit far from the town, however, you get really connected with nature. I had a room facing the canyon, it's beautiful like you are living solo with nature. The sunlight is great, the rooms are clean and cozy. It does need some maintenance as it gets old over time, however, they are very comfortable to stay in. The best thing I love is the energy in the house and around. Stuff are super nice there and easy to work with."

"The boss came from India for 18 years and the brothers opened three chains, basically in different locations on Route 66.
The weather here is very bad, but the victory is close to the scenic spot.
So holidays, weekends, prices are more expensive than five-star hotels.
It feels like our Dali County Huashuiwan folk customs are asking for a price.
The level is almost that.
For your reference.
The scenery outside the hotel window is not bad.
The highway is not far away, but it is quiet."
"The location of the hotel is very good, you can see Lake Powell next to it, and there should be a boat rental service. However, the door to the outside on the first floor cannot be locked. I don't know if it is the reason for the room or the hotel design, or pay attention.
P.S. Hotel room card is very exquisite! You can tell the front desk to stay"

GGuest UserIt's also a small local shop under the name of a big-name hotel chain. The location is not bad. It's not far from several tourist attractions and trails, and dining is very convenient nearby. The room is not big. There is a terrace on the first floor, which is only half a square meter, connected to the outside and neighbors. It's not exclusively for Chinese as Ctrip boasted. I guess the Chinese make a lot of noise, so they only give rooms on the first floor. Several hotels booked through Ctrip were assigned to the first floor or to relatively poor rooms. I don't know if it's because Chinese have a bad reputation and are not liked. I hope Chinese people will behave according to local customs and behavioral norms when they go out.
GGuest UserLively room, enjoyed sitting on the outside balcony area with chairs and table. The beds were big and there were two of them in the room. The room was clean. Restaurants, shop and an outdoor pool were all within 10 minutes walking distance. Starbucks onsite too. Great, thanks.
邹邹It's more convenient to stay here to play with snow in Friegerstaf. The hotel does not provide breakfast, free parking, tourist towns, and the price difference between the peak and low seasons is quite large. The peak season is more than double.
GGuest UserLet me begin by making the readers aware that the Grand Canyon Plaza Hotel is more of a motel than a hotel. Entrance to all the rooms including the elevator is via the outside. It's not like your typical hotel where you enter a lobby and proceed to your room or the elevators. When entering the GCPH to check in the lobby seemed very clean but dated. The staff was extremely friendly. When we first entered our assigned room, it smelled of smoke masked by air freshener. We proceeded back to the lobby to complain and asked for another room. The second room was acceptable, however, the room was small, dark and very dated. We had breakfast the next morning in their restaurant off of the lobby and the food and service was good. If you are looking for a place to stay that is close to the park entrance but lacks updated features and charm, then this would be an acceptable place to stay at.

GGuest UserFirst, the positive:
1. The staff was courteous, professional, and helpful.
2. The outdoor area was well above par. The pool was clean with in-pool loungers (4). Safety equipment and signage posted. Multiple cabanas (6?) were available. Large fire pit with plentiful seating. The pool is 5 feet deep at the center. This is not a pool made for swimming laps, but for lounging.
3. Rooms have an outdoor balcony with a table and 2 chairs.
4. Windows have both a blackout screen and a privacy screen. The window is able to be opened for fresh air and is screened.
5. HVAC was in good order and worked perfectly.
6. In room refrigerator was clean and worked well. Microwave, TV, and phone in room.
7. Breakfast area was spacious and breakfast offered multiple options though I did not avail myself of this amenity.
Now, the negative:
1. The room itself was much smaller (king bed ) than expected. Room was cramped and looked nothing like the pictures on the website.
2. The bathrooms were recently remodeled, but the aesthetics are problematic. Why would anyone put wood laminate flooring in a bathroom with a walk in shower that has approximately a 2” inch lip and shower curtain in lieu of doors? You take a shower and the floor gets wet...no bueno.
3. There is a $10 per night service fee charged on registration. The fee is for wifi and other services. I don't recall seeing this posted when I reserved the room, but perhaps I overlooked it. I didn't object paying it, but the fee should be transparent.
4. Housekeeping is performed every 3 days and if you need more towels, etc., simply contact the front desk and they will have what you need brought up.
Other: I booked the room for 2 nights but opted not to stay the 2nd night.
AAnthonyNice hotel in town centre with lovely quiet garden. Friendly staff, big well equippef room, great breakfast. Only negative was lots of noise from rooms above.
AAzuka88Motel 6 has been my go-to choice when traveling around the US, and for good reason. The prices are very affordable, making it an excellent option for budget-conscious travelers.
The locations are consistently great, providing easy access to various attractions and amenities. If you're looking for a reliable and budget-friendly stay, I highly recommend considering Motel 6. It’s a solid choice for a comfortable and economical lodging experience!
GGuest UserThe hotel was nice needed some updating. The checking people very nice n subjected places to get n get cheap gas. The breakfast was good for traveling. I would stay there again.
AAUSSIETRAVELLERHotel was great, reasonable central location to big sightseeing areas. Fitness centre was ok.
But the biggest downfall here for this hotel was the thin walls. We could hear voices/TVs at all hours (particularly mornings as lots of people were heading out early for tours). Could be just a joint room problem? Otherwise a very nice stay.
GGuest UserVery good value for money, the service staff is very warm, the breakfast is simple but delicious, it is convenient to go to the Grand Canyon. The room is warm and warm, the stay is very good, the staff is warm
