Brand new hotel! Stayed for the weekend and planned on just finding places to walk to or a quick uber to and this hotel met those needs. Rooms are spacious. Two "new to me" perks in a hotel - water filling stations on each floor and motion activated night light in the restroom!! LOL! It's the little things! The hotel is in an office building so as others have said, you enter on the ground floor that has a front desk and bar. You then take an elevator that goes to the 11th floor and you must get off to take a different elevator to your room. The 11th floor has their restaurant Margaret's and the skybar Vincent's which wraps around to the pool area. Pool area is very small so I can't imagine what it will be like during the summer! The 12th floor is where you'll find the Executive Lounge and gym. The gym has everything you would need for getting a workout in while staying at a hotel. With our Marriott status, we were able to enjoy the complimentary breakfast as well as happy hour bites, although the beverages at the happy hour are on the honor system and you are asked to fill out a form so your room can be charged accordingly. Breakfast is what you would find at a typical higher end Marriott. Very attentive staff both days we stayed there. Breakfast consisted of eggs, sausage, bacon, oa**eal, breads, meat, cheese, fruits, muffins, cereal, really nice custom coffee machine, juices. Happy Hour bites were chicken and waffle bites, veg samosa and Korean egg rolls and some other items like mini salads, cheeses, meats, veggies/dip. The second night consisted ofchicken puff pastry, stuffed mushrooms, and bacon wrapped apple bites. All the bites were really nice and the staff did a great job of replinishing with hot bites. Again, we stayed here to walk to places. Klyde Warren park on a Saturday had several food trucks and a farmer's market set up. We also did the Katy Trail and grabbed lunch at the Katy Trail Icehouse. Just downstairs and outside from the hotel is 400 Gradi, Italian restaurant. HIGHLY recommend this place!
