Dionysios Studios

Nice little studio with basic facilities. Shower is nice and hot but could do with updating as old and tired and Shower curtain sticks to you while taking a shower. Bed was comfy and linen clean and changed regularly. Lovely little balcony with side sea view just visible as tree starting to block view. Had to ask for a table to prepare food etc as self catering. Fruit trees growing in garden, Lime and Pomegranates. Will be returning next year.

A basic studio which is a nice short walk from the beach and all main restaurants. Also opposite a public pool if you ever need one. Was lacking a hair dryer but I asked in reception and got one no problem. Paid €10 for the safe for all week so not bad. Didn’t pay for air con so cannot comment. Staff are friendly and greeted us as we arrived late and check in was quick. Not far from Greekstones where we rented a car, about 1 hour 30 to Myrtos beach and two from Fiscardo. We preferred Skala as an area to stay than fiscardo, Sami etc. All in all, no complaints.

Very nice traditional apartment , superb location, near to the restaurants and bars. Not far from the beach, lots of beach bars where you can use facilities if you are visiting the beach , highly recommended. Lots of nice beaches near by , we hired a car and went to Mounda beach and Kaminia beach , both sandy not shingle. Will definitely be back xx

Typical simple Greek holiday studio that was on the small side by suited our needs perfectly. They are very tidy and cleaned daily. The bedding and towels changed twice a week and good quality. The shower always had plenty of hot water. The a/c worked well and was much needed as we were there during the heatwave. The owner, Dennis , lives on site and is very friendly and helpful. You can book directly with him. The location is great and very quiet. They are located on a side road just off the main pedestrianised street with lots of bars, shops and restaurants. The nearest beach is about 5 minutes walk. We would definitely use again.

Arrived by taxi at 12:30pm and reception was closed. So we asked a cleaner about reception being closed, she got in touch with Dennis the owner. He was with us in minutes. He was very hospitable sorted out air con €8 per night or €50 per week €100 for two weeks. Safe deposit box in the room €10 per week. And 6x water €3. Dennis then took us to our studio, we were on the ground floor, room 27. Typical Greek basic but clean. Cleaner came in every day. Bedding and towels changed twice a week. Shower 🚿 was powerful and water got really hot. Being on the ground floor we had a terrace and it was large. Dennis was out every morning cleaning paths and watering his plants. The studios are really well kept. Dennis lives on the top floor so if you have any problems he is always around. We loved skala. It was a short walk to the beach, only took around a 10 minute stroll. Was a little longer coming back up steps and a small incline. Lots of tavernas and cocktail bars in the side roads on your way to the main *****. The ***** was about 15/20 minutes stroll away. So the studios are set in a great position. We will definitely return. Really enjoyed skala

We booked our stay at the Dionysios Studios through ***********. Our room was small but adequate, very clean and very well equipped. We were told by the owner that we were in his 'economy' studio and larger rooms were available if we'd booked through him direct. He showed us one of his other studios later and we'll do that next time. The room was, however excellent value as A/C and a good quality safe were included in the price so we have no complaints. The room had the usual Greek kitchenette facilities which are adequate for preparing a light meal and the refrigerator was one of the first in a long while that I haven't had to defrost before using! A kettle was provided but be warned - Skala water is high in temporary hardness so you'll need to rinse it out regularly. The maid service was excellent - bins cleared and bed tidied daily with a full change of towels and bedding twice weekly. The studios are in a quiet part of town, about a hundred yards from our favourite Manolis taverna and a short walk to the beach and the main road with its shops and restaurants - the location couldn't be faulted. The owner and his family were very helpful - we arrived early as we got through the airport quicker than we'd anticipated. Our room was still being cleaned when we arrived so we were given a free drink and a seat in the shade while we waited for the floor to dry. Dennis (the owner) also helped us out by arranging transport back to the airport on our return. This was our fourth visit to Skala and when we next return we'll definitely stay at the Dionysios Studios.

Lovely comfortable room with nice balcony space. Comfortable & clean with hob, toastie machine, kettle, tv, air con. Nice clean bathroom with easy to use shower. Rooms cleaned regularly & clean towels provided. Owner Dennis can be found throughout the day & is always available to help with any issues (not that there were any).
