If you are looking for a calming getaway and spending time with nature, Aramness is the place to be. Nestled in the middle of gir forest, it is a perfect spot to just unwind and enjoy the peace. Personal staff is allocated to each villa (or kothi) who really go out of the way to give you the best experience. The hospitality is amazing and the food by the chefs is superb! The place is designed like a dream, and one can spend hours in their library. Every night they create a curated experience for the guests - we loved the Italian and Gujrati nights! It’s definitely a must visit!! (Recommend the October to December period for cooler weather)

This resort has been rated as one of the Top10 wild-life reserves in the country. My 3-day experience was beyond anything my imagination could conjure. I was absolutely gobsmacked at the sheer expanse of the property, the intricate detailing of the architecture, the cultural infusions and the immense effort that must have gone into ensuring that guests are provided with the most luxurious experience but retaining the intrinsic authenticity of Gir. The villas or 'kothis' as they call it are splendidly designed with immense perfection and detailing. The sheer size, scale and beauty leaves your eyes completely feasting on the gorgeousness of the decor not to mention how every need of the guest has been thought of. The furniture, the amenities, the luxurious bed left me hungry for more. No hardware can succeed if the software doesn’t support it. What unbelievable staff! Their training has been outstanding, the service levels are by far one of the finest I have seen in all my travels. The quality of the food, the perfection and freshness of the produce (all organically grown in vegetable patches and orchards of the resort) was fantastic. Special mention of the GM Mr Parik**** Rathod and his entire staff who ***ages the hotel with such high levels of quality control and service excellence. As a hotelier, I can say that rarely do I get a ‘resort’ experience that leaves me so floored and so impressed. I highly recommend Aramness as a MUST DO for every traveler who has a check list of places to visit. And not to mention the excellent safari where spotting the King of the Jungle is only possible because of the trained staff who are so well versed with the wildlife and the forest, they almost make it effortless to see the majestic lion. If you dont include Aramness on your bucket list then I can assure you you are missing out on building a travel experience of a lifetime.

In the quest of seeing the Asiatic lion in Gir, I chose Aramness due to very high recommendation of friends who had visited the property earlier. The driver from the resort fetched us & It was a comfortable drive & easy to reach from DIU airport. The property was honestly a box of surprises ! Outstanding architecture & the villas (kothis) were more luxurious than I had imagined ! Each villa had a private pool & a beautiful patio sit out & the luxury of the room was very impressive. Attention to every detail for the guest was spot on with the butler service one of the best I’ve experienced. They offered so ***y interesting food choices from a traditional Gujarati thaali, to an amazing & extensive vegetarian & non-vegetarian barbecue, a fancy Indian & Italian menu complete with wood fired pizzas. Each of these & even the desserts were lip smacking & I totally savoured each delectable meal ! A seamless Safari experience was also organised by the lodge with a well equipped guide who made the whole jungle experience very informative & enjoyable. Seeing the Asiatic lion ***** with a whole gamut of other flora & fauna was a very wholesome experience. One of the favourite spots at the lodge is definitely the most elegant & beautiful library & the vegetable garden that Is not only enjoyable to visit but the vegetable picking makes a great activity for all. Pottery experience at the lodge with a local potterer was definitely my favourite. The lodge also arranged a visit to a village nearby & interacting with the locals (Maldhari community) & having tea with them & milking their buffaloes was really quite an experience. The beautiful sunrises, sunsets & the starriest sky were all mesmerising. All in all it was the most luxurious stay with the most courteous & friendly staff & comes coupled with the best safari experience in tow ! An absolute recommendation from me & a “not to miss” on your holiday list !

I recently had an exceptional stay at Aramness, tucked *****side Gir National Forest. From the warm welcome to the expertly prepared culinary delights, the staff ensured that our experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The knowledge and passion displayed by our nature guide added depth to our wildlife excursions, making them educational and awe-inspiring. Of course, the highlight of the Gir National Forest is the opportunity to witness the majestic Asiatic lions in their natural habitat. Our guides expertly navigated the park, ensuring we had the best opportunities to observe these magnificent creatures up close, all while prioritizing their well-being and habitat preservation. Not as popular with international travelers as ***y other options in the country, the unique game drive experience available here might be like nothing else in the world. Any would be adventurous soul would be amiss in passing up on this destination. I doubt it will continue to fly under the radar much longer, nor will Aramness.

A must-add for your bucket list, I absolutely loved this unique safari lodge. It is inspired by the charms of Gujarat villages and bridges the gap between elegant simplicity and modern luxuries with a view of the magnificent teak forest all around. From the exquisitely designed Kothis (courtyard homes) to spotting Asiatic lions during game drive (Safari) to activities within & around the resort - you’d be left wanting for more! Some of my favourite activities I would recommend: • Gir Safari for wildlife enthusiasts to spot majestic Asian lions, bird and animals. I even spotted a lion from outside my Kothi outside the lodge fence! • Authentic Gujarati thali to experience the local cuisine • Picnic amidst the forest is a wonderful activity to enjoy the sunset ***** with snacks • A visit to the Ness is a must, to meet up n’ chat over tea with the local Maldhari tribes • Reminiscing childhood days with a fun pottery session • Bonfire night with family or friends under the sky • Some me-time with an indulgent spa • Enjoy in the personal pool that’s inspired by Indian step-wells, with a view of the forest • Just a 2 hour drive (on the way to the airport), explore Uparkot fort & Mahabat Maqbara Place at Junagarh All in all, my trip was made even more special by the customized itinerary, attention to detail at all times and hospitality provided by the staff throughout. 10/10 recommend you to experience this at least once - your trip will be unique and worth it.
