I checked in yesterday , paid for normal king bed room , but for my great surprise the cute and smiley front disk staff , who unfortunately I don’t remember her name, told me that will upgrade my booking to suite. My room was spacious, smell very good , and in general my stay was great, sure Asia International hotel will be always my home in gz.

Not impressed and upset with
- room layout
Very bad for going to toilet at night. You’ll stumbled on the partition
The shower and toilet shares the same sliding doors which is impossible for two persons to shower and be in a toilet at the same time ( to have a privacy) plus the door are not soft closed so at night you can here door slammed
-cigarette smells on non smoking floor
I suffered to sleep as cigarette fumes seeped into the room at night from 8pm for hours and last night at midnight still have the fumes coming into the room. The first night I called the hotel asking them to check with the maid next morning which room a smoker stayed (near my room2118) and the hotel should give him a warning . Of course nothing was done and I suffered and couldn’t breathe for three nights.
Didn’t asked to change the room as more hassle yo ask my partner to repack.
-Some kind of construction noises outside at night
-Staffs couldn’t speak English well and some don’t have good service mind like a 5 stars hotel staffs should have.
Other than above room is good clean, breakfast quality was good, concierge service okay.
Cannot rate logistics as using a taxi a lot.
Not a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. The department stores is about 1km walk from the hotel.

The room is clean and tidy and very new. The front desk staff is smiling and customer-to-face. The service attitude is very good. They also gave some water and free upgrades when checking in. Great location, right infront of Beijing rd Tee mall. Nice modern design and the room was clean. Breakfast was decent. The self-service washer and dryer is a plus. Great service from two of the front desk staff, a male and a female, who were usually on duty during the day. They were very friendly and helpful. Service from night-time staff, two females, was average. The room and toilet doors were a little stiff to open and close. Overall a good hotel to stay in.

We stayed two nights at Golden Eagle Hotel and we really liked it. It was very pleasant stay, clean, neat, spacious rooms with nice city view. Location is very good. Staff is very friendly. Price & performance ratio is very good. Overall 10/10.

It’s a cute older hotel, not super clean, my room kinda smelled, even though I was on a higher floor, convenience is key here- walking distance to a lot of things!
The breakfast buffet was the highlight of my day and their restaurant food is very good and fresh!

- Requested in person at concierge counter, for bidet spray to be installed at toilet.. staff showed mobile phone that message was sent.. and informed bidet spray will be installed when I returned to my room on the same night.. however.. when I returned.. no bidet spray was installed 🥲

Seriously one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in China, ever. Pretty much everything about it was perfect, a comfortable bed, nice windows, quiet environment, very friendly staff who speak English, even the gym was solid. The location is just a couple minutes walk from the MTR. There are also a couple decent parks nearby.
Be aware that the neighborhood is filled with Africans and Middle easterners, I wasn't aware of this but I feel people should know.

GGuest UserThe picture is convenient to book this hotel, I didn't dare to have too much hope for the price, I prepared disposable supplies, I didn't expect the hotel to surprise me, the health is very good, the linen is new and clean, and the things I bring are useless. 🤭 The hotel is almost all handsome service, the service attitude is very good, and the response is very fast and polite. The room booked is relatively small, but the sparrow is small and complete, but it is recommended that guests who have more time in the room still spend dozens of dollars to book a larger one, and the living experience will be better. Newly opened but no smell, quiet and safe. High cost performance is recommended 👍

HHilwcwCozy space, it will more than sufficient if it’s just a room to sleep. Staff are friendly and pay attention to detail, Prompt in attending to our needs. Near to a small concert hall (中山纪念堂). Accessing to train, will have to use the overhead bridge to cross over. Not an issue if most of the time travelling around via didi as driver will be able to locate exact location.

The Post and Telecommunications Building I finally chose was a wise move.
