One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The customer service is amazing, almost all staff we have encountered with are friendly and helpful, especially the young lady who checked us in and also helped us with our luggage. The hotel is tastefully decorated with quality materials. The breakfast was very delicious with many selections. Areas needed to improve are 1)The hot water pressure is very weak for the bathtub in our room. 2) The plastic cover for the bathtub was nice thought but not practical.

The hotel is located very close to the Lijiang River, which made the stay even more special. The breakfast buffet was extensive, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that we truly enjoyed every morning.
Our room was spacious, clean, and equipped with the latest technology—everything felt modern and comfortable. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even assisted us in ordering food to the hotel, something we wouldn’t have managed on our own. We felt very well taken care of throughout our stay and would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Spacious, clean and excellent service by the staff. The room facilities were modern, comes with a bidet and a Baidu tech device to control room lighting and more by voice commands. Breakfast had a decent spread and an afternoon tea was also provided. It was a very comfortable stay. Location was optimal as it was near all the sights we wanted to go to. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for 4 nights with as a family of 5 (two rooms, one of which is a room with an extra bed).
I’ve written a much longer review for our other booking, but in gist, highly recommend! The services was impeccable and the view of the pagoda was lovely from the room. It was also really modern and the number of freebies from woodblock printing to foot massage and more really sweetened the deal. You could tell they also really cared about service - the guest relation manager even asked us during our buffet breakfast if we had any feedback for them! It especially helped that the buffet breakfast was really good, as well as the hotel restaurant

The bed was very comfortable and the view was gorgeous. Breakfast was stellar and definitely worth eating every day. I will say the staff was a little overbearing when you come in every day. It got to be a bit much when I was just trying to get to my room and they kept asking me questions. Like are you checking in today? Would you like a spa? And I would have to say no it’s my second day here. Really don’t need that much attention every time I come in.  Also please don’t ask for five star reviews upon check out. It’s really a turn off and makes me second-guess the whole reviewing process when the hotel is asking you to give them five stars when a proper assessment is always beneficial to both the hotel and guests.

The staffs there were so friendly, and the hotel breakfast was nice. Will definitely book this hotel if i ever come to guilin again. Love the hotel’s room too, especially the toilet and they even gave us bath bomb and bath salt after requesting.

I went to try the spa (aromatherapy package), was expecting a relaxing massage but I think the masseur lacks the skills. She use brute force and continously rub on the same spot over and over. I had red bruises all over my back. Had to keep reminding her to be more gentle, I had more aches instead of feeling relaxed.

I happened to come across the ”Fanxinli” aromatherapy B&B in Guilin, where you can see the Li River scenery from the balcony of the room. The proprietress is very attentive. Each room has a different decoration style and the scent of the room fragrance is also different, each with its own characteristics. The room is clean and tidy, with complete facilities. The service staff is very friendly and helps with the luggage up and down the stairs. Today, the sky is drizzling. The cold weather makes me not want to go out. I stay in the B&B and drink afternoon tea. I pose for photos and feel happy and relaxed in the fragrant environment. [Happy] Osmanthus black tea and handmade snacks are very special [Strong][Color]

GGuest UserExcellent Excellent service! The employees of the hotel were so good and very willing to help. In one night, we felt hungry. However, we didn't like the night snack that they had on that night and decided to forgo the night snack. They made an extra effort to prepare something else for us even though we didn't ask for it. In addition, we were departing the next day very early (around 4:20 am) to catch the flight and would miss the breakfast. To our surprise, they prepared some grab-and-go breakfast for us (once again we did't ask for it). We were so grateful for their kind service!! They are simply the best!!

They are so sweet and friendly but honest! They advised me and managed my expectations on what to do and what not to do. One of my best experience in China. DDejan PleterskiWe came to Guilin by train and we had a free pick-up from train station to the hotel. Xiaoming greeted us with fresh fruits and tea, we came an hour or so earlier but that was no problem. The room was spacious and beautiful with sitting area for drinking tea by the all glass wall/windows. Xiaoming is very helpful and kind person, he lets you have an e-scooter for free to go to the city, Reed flute cave or wherever you want. The Reed flute cave is 20 minutes walk from the hotel and the hotel is like a small village of accomodarion villas outside of the Guilin but close by car or e-scooter. The breakfast is very tasty with chinese and western style cuisine. They offer tours around Guilin like Li river cruise, Longji rice terraces tour or Yangshuo river rafting among others. We took two tours for each day and our guide/driver was Qin who is actually a great guy. He showed us around and was very patient with us especially when we went hiking on a Longji rice terraces. Guilin and surroundig area are the most beautiful we have seen in China so far. I will look forward to return to this place and experience again the hospitality of Xiaoming and hang around with our tour guide Qin.

CCool beanThe scenery is extremely beautiful. Guilin's landscape is the best in the world, and Yangshuo's landscape is the best in Guilin! There are a lot of tourists going to Yangshuo now. There are a lot of cars on the road, a lot of dust, and a lot of noise. Only when you stay in Xiangzhang Huaping, you will immediately feel like you have entered a paradise, and it is worth the trip to Yangshuo! The hotel is all villas. It is a full 1 kilometer from the villa to the gate. It can be said that the winding path leads to a secluded place. As soon as you enter the hotel, you will feel a different world! The villa is very large, the service is also very good, and it is very quiet. The villa is equipped with a 10-meter long swimming pool, and the water is also very clean! Strong privacy, the best accommodation choice for going to Yangshuo!

I booked my stay at the Shixi Landscape Hotel in Yangshuo, Guilin, through Trip.com. The check-in process was very smooth and didn’t take long at all. One pleasant surprise was the option to upgrade our room for free, which we accepted. This upgraded room came with a lovely balcony. Although the staff couldn’t speak English, they were very friendly and helpful. Using a translation app made communication easy.
Room Details
We stayed in a standard double room with an upgrade to a balcony room. The room also featured a bathtub, which was a nice touch. Upon entering, the room was fairly clean, though there were some water stains on the floor and the carpet had a few dirty spots. The amenities were average, including a selection of soft drinks in the minibar and some snacks on the table. Despite these minor cleanliness issues, the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep.
Facilities and Services
The hotel had a restaurant where we received a complimentary breakfast upgrade. Unfortunately, the breakfast did not meet our expectations. While the Chinese food selection seemed okay, the international options were quite disappointing. The sausages were undercooked, the bacon was not good, and the cereal options looked and tasted stale. The only decent international option was toast with butter. It’s a relief we didn’t pay extra for it.
Although I noticed the hotel had a spa, gym, and pool, I didn’t get a chance to use them. The pool looked nice but was small and shallow, not suitable for a serious swim. There was no room service available as far as I knew.
Location and Accessibility
The hotel’s location was fantastic, situated right next to the Li River and only a short 5-minute walk to the main shops and streets in the town. It was very easy to find and access, making it a convenient base for exploring Yangshuo.
Customer Service
The overall customer service was great. The staff were very friendly and polite, and we encountered no issues during our stay.
Overall Experience
The best part of our stay was the hotel’s prime location, which made it easy to visit tourist attractions. The hotel staff were also very helpful in arranging scooter rentals for a very reasonable price of ¥30 per day, which allowed us to explore the beautiful scenery around Yangshuo.
However, there is room for improvement. The breakfast selection, particularly the international options, needs significant enhancement. Additionally, a thorough deep cleaning of the carpets would greatly improve the room’s cleanliness.
In conclusion, while I would recommend the Shixi Landscape Hotel for its location and overall good service, it is on the pricier side for Yangshuo. Given the cost, I expected a bit more in terms of breakfast quality and room cleanliness. Nonetheless, it is a decent option for those looking to stay near the Li River and the town’s main attractions.

BBabablacksheepWe booked 2 nights as arrival was late. The place was a very good experience for us as it was at the foot of the mountain, historic sugar mill site and has a pier. We went for the Bamboo rafting (motorised kind) along the Li river, and their sugar candy morning activity. The chefs in sugar house also prepared very tasty and unique food. The morning tai chi was refreshing too! Kids room has slide and kids were happy.

They helped me with all my requests (boat reservation, sunrise watching at Xianggong, bike, advices, etc.) and I can't show them enough gratitude for the value they added to my stay.. I would like to mention they helped me book two sunrise watching tickets for two friends I made in Yangshuo. They were not staying at their hotel, but the reception organized everything and also contacted the others hotel reception and the driver to make sure my friends don't miss the bus.
The breakfast is great (eggs, salad, milk rice?, tea, coffee, fruits, cakes, noodles) and the rooftop is really nice to take pictures with the mirrors and the scenery.
You are 7 min away from West Street. Daily cleaning was going an awesome job. Also, you don't have to worry or pay for laundry : put it in the bag provided and enjoy Yangshuo. Magic (=amazing workers) will return your clothes washed. Bed was confortable. Bottle waters are provided as much as you need.
Only bad points : I booked this hotel because of the pull-up bar and the dumbells, but they removed them. Only treadmill and bike left... You can find some pull-ups bars and dips bars at Yangshuo Park (15min).
They help you with many things, but to order a taxi to the station , you have to pay them 120 yuan (but maybe I misunderstood WeChat translation).

特特莱沃勒儿·港Travelled from Hong Kong via HSR with family. “DiDi”-ed from our urban Guilin hotel directly to Yangshuo Banyan tree with a comfortable 100 ish RMB ride, for the second part of our Guilin-Yangshuo journey.
Great deal / value here ~2.5k hkd per night only. As someone who loves animals — the hotel pets were hard to say no to for me. Enjoyed feeding alpaca, viewing the peacocks, and playing with the ducks sooooo much. Eventually this is the main reason for me to pick this hotel over the other ones of similar price range 😁🦚🦚
Food I think was excellent. Freshly made Guilin Noodles with authentic crispy pork at the breakfast buffet was the highlight. Bai Yun restaurant’s local beer fish was memorable and special.
Else all standard five stars — great location in the middle of the sensational yangshuo scenery. My favorite spot was where we could view the “Lucky Cat” shaped mountain from the river side of the resort 😺 —- best Feng Shui here! Good cultural taste 😁😁
Hope I’ll revisit here!

The hotel's well-maintained gym was another highlight of our stay. The state-of-the-art equipment and serene ambiance provided the perfect setting for a rejuvenating workout.

GGuest UserVery good. Location is superb. Central to everything. Despite a bit old but well maintained. They have a very good indoor big swimming pool and a gym. Hotel is huge and they have 3 elevators which is working well. I am grateful that to choose this hotel than other new hotels. We dint use their wifi so no comment about it.
