Hotels in Haidian Island, Haikou

A pleasant hotel! Everything looks quite new. Comfortable bed (I especially liked that there is a choice between regular pillows and memory foam pillows). Good value for money (especially compared to hotels in Sanya where I am now and where hotels in this price range seem much lower quality). Friendly staff at reception. The only thing that could be better is sound insulation, in particular noise coming from outside the hotel. Even with the window closed, it felt as though it was open (what you hear is mostly traffic noise - which I got used to pretty quickly - but one evening also some loud music which annoyed me more; that stopped at 22:30 though, so not too bad after all). If I return to Haikou, I might certainly consider this hotel again.

You can see the hotel when you get off the bus from the location. The back garden is also beautifully decorated, full of pink bougainvillea. If you want to take a taxi, you can take a taxi in the parking lot. The driver can also drive into the parking lot and pick me up downstairs of the hotel before I go out. It's also very close by bus, more than 100 meters away. The transportation is very convenient. Although the room is not big, it is very clean and affordable. It is cost-effective. You can also wash and dry for free. The girl at the front desk is very nice. Very nice, very enthusiastic, helping to solve various problems. I stayed here for three days and the experience was very good. Highly recommended! ! !

After Sanya, I headed to Haikou and stayed at the InterContinental Haikou Seaview. The hotel is located along the scenic Binhai Road, offering stunning views of the Qiongzhou Strait. The location was perfect, with easy access to a park connector and a mall. I loved taking evening strolls here; it was so peaceful and windy, which I enjoyed. Check-in was seamless, and the staff were professional and attentive. My room was spacious and modern, with a large window offering panoramic sea views. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the toilet made getting ready and unwinding for the day luxurious! Yes, they have a bidet in the bathroom. The only downside was the weak air conditioner, so we slept with the balcony open. I also wished they provided bath salts or bath bombs to enhance the bathtub experience. Overall, this was my favorite hotel in Haikou. It’s slightly away from the main attractions, but it’s perfect for relaxation, eating, and shopping. I would definitely stay here again!

Stayed in Building B, the hotel rooms and owners are intertwined. The advantage is that it is relatively new. It is located on Xinbu Island, connected by a bridge, suitable for self-driving tourists. The laundry room is not very good. The breakfast is OK, but the quantity is small. If you go late, there will be nothing to eat.

The hotel is right next to Haida Night Market. You can go downstairs to buy supper after a good night's sleep. Behind it is Haida. The streets and alleys next to it are full of life. The fruits and seafood in the alleys are very cheap. Guifei mango is three yuan per catty, and small golden passion fruit is ten yuan for four catties. We went downstairs to go shopping. It is also very close to Qilou Old Street. It takes less than ten minutes by taxi. There are many seafood processing points there. The boss is also very nice.
