Hotels near Yukinoyama Historical Park in Higashiomi

The condition of the facilities at the hot springs could not be described as good. Is it empty despite the coronavirus pandemic? As I expected, the place was crowded with locals coming in as well...it didn't feel like people were taking their time because they were worried about getting infected. Originally, this facility was known for its natural hot spring open-air bath and meals, but it did not have a good reputation.However, the annex building is nice and clean.The hot springs are hypotonic and slightly alkaline, so it is also called a hot spring for beautiful skin. It was Due to the seasonal nature of the season, it is best to check accommodations in advance before visiting.

Staying again has prepared the keys and information for us, very intimate, if I go to Shiga again, I will choose this hotel, the only downside is the room on the side of the main road, the fresh air outlet will be squeaked by the strong wind, I hope to overhaul it, the bed for two people is slightly smaller, Service has a feeling of going home

It is just off Yakkaichi station of OMI Railway. I had a job nearby and stayed. It was good to have this hotel here. I stay at work everywhere, but no matter where I stay, I have a sense of security if it is a brand of this hotel. The room was relaxing here and dinner was also eaten in the building.

When visiting Kyoto, we wanted to enjoy some time in an onsen resort so we decided to spend two nights in Ogoto Onsen. After checking the details in their website, we booked a ”Biwa no kaze”room with private onsen and view of Lake Biwako. And we were not disappointed. The room looks newly renovated, and is very spacious with two beds and sitting area plus a tatami room. They offer different dinner packages, and we have chosen crab with steak as the main dishes for the first night, and lobster with shabu-shabu the second night. The foods were of very high quality, tasted and looked very nice. The breakfast buffet was very good with a wide selection of different items. The ryokan is excellent in nearly all aspects. We would stay here again when we next visit Kyoto.

I recently stayed at AB Hotel Hikone and had an exceptional experience. The location deserves a solid 5 stars—it's conveniently situated at 5-9 Daitocho, Hikone, Shiga, offering easy access to key attractions. Overall, AB Hotel Hikone provides a fantastic stay with its prime location, cleanliness, value for money, and outstanding facilities. I highly recommend it to fellow travelers seeking a delightful and comfortable accommodation experience in Hikone, Japan.

We stayed in a comfortable modern room for one night from October 11. If the room has a power tap so that several people can charge their phones at the same time, a disposable vinyl case is prepared for the remote control of the TV for the corona countermeasure I felt worried. There is a space that makes you think it is a resort somewhere at first glance. I went on a day trip, and the store is waiting in line with full seats everywhere. It is recommended to aim at the opening time disclosure. Some families are picnicing outside on a nice day. It's a place to relax and spend time on the terrace! Parking situation The parking lot is crowded, so there is a second parking lot on the street opposite the store. It is just over the railroad crossing, so it is closer to the third, fourth and fifth parking lot. Still more than half empty? For some reason, the first parking lot is not allowed to enter by full car, and the parking lot is not allowed to wait for the empty, and the parking lot person advances except the second parking lot. I don't know why, but the near second parking lot is full of blanks. Therefore, it is recommended to stop at the second parking lot. If you are referenced, please give [good 👍].

Omihachiman & Azuchi 1 night 2 day We used it for a solo trip. It was ｼﾝｸﾞﾙ (ｽﾀﾝﾀﾞｰﾄﾞ) and the room ｻｲｽﾞ:17m2 ﾍﾞｯﾄﾞ width 135cm. Even if you have a big luggage, you can open and close in the room (see attached photo). Because ﾎﾃﾙ is near the station, it is convenient for travelers in the sense of leaving your luggage and walking around Omihachiman. However, if you stay on the JR Biwako line side, the railway ﾏﾆｱ can see the JR running in front of you. It may be fun, but if you don't, you may be worried about the sound of the freight train running in the middle of the night. (If you care about the sound, you may be better to stay in a room facing the north.) Breakfast is not eaten or eaten The room rate is the same, so the ﾒﾆｭｰ type is limited, but ﾊﾟﾝ can be baked and ﾊﾟﾝ It is recommended to be put in the stomach even a little. It was the first time to use ｺﾝﾌｫｰﾄｲﾝ, but the goodness of the ｽﾀｯﾌ correspondence remained impressive as it entered the top of the ﾋﾞｼﾞﾈｽﾎﾃﾙ used in the past.　

Came here with family during the Sakura season. It's easy to get to the onset hotel. After arriving at the Ogoto Onsen JR station, towards the south exit you will find a cell phone attached to a board with explanation how to use the phone to call one of the onsen hotels. After the call, their shuttle bus will then come and pick you up between 2pm to 6pm I think. The hotel staff in general are very welcoming. Our family scored a deal with their penthouse suite with private indoor and outdoor onsen. Four of us stayed in the suite and the price is only slightly more than four of us staying in 2 regular rooms. It also came with a beautiful fruit platter for you to enjoy. The suite is very spacious with 2 separate toilets. The bath area has 2 sinks, a shower stall as well as a japanese style bathing area connected to the 2 onsen baths (indoor one is a hinoki wood tub and the outdoor one is a stone one. The outdoor onsen does have a slight privacy issue as there are some residential buildings in a distance. While my mom was a bit too modest to use the outdoor one (which I am not and fully enjoyed it), she did take full advantage of the indoor private onsen. Of course the hotel also has a public onsen for the guests. In fact they have two. One in each towers. I used the one on the top floor in the morning and it was a bless seeing the sunrise while soaking in the hot onsen water. Our package also included both dinner and breakfast that were served at their private dining room. Both meals were done in kaiseki style. We were particularly impressed by their dinner. Not only was it cooked with high quality ingredients and with beautiful presentation, they did not skimp on the quantity as well. Often after eating dinner at other onsen hotel, I would not feel full and actually felt a bit hungry later at night, at Yumotokan the courses kept coming and I was completely stuffed at the end. In fact I did not finish the rice even though it was so yummy (cooked from scratch in front of us with a flamed mini-stove). All in all, a very satisfactory experience. I can recommend anyone who comes to Kyoto/Osaka and wants an excursion and experiences the traditional Japanese onsen.
