Best Hotels in Himberg, Austria

Nice clean, comfortable hotel in a quaint town. I was there one night and left at 06:30 for an early morning flight. Breakfast starts at 07:00 so not ideal for early travelers to airport. Bed was comfortable. Would have been very lovely if there were a kettle in the room to make a late night or early morning tea. Taxi from the airport is about €40, consider €75-90 euros round trip. In a second time if I were only in for one night again I’d probably opt for a higher price hotel that is closer to the airport / without such a taxi trek. Otherwise this is a reasonable place.

Because it is the next day to drive to the airport, it is about 20 minutes drive to the airport, which is very suitable in terms of price. The owner of the restaurant lives next to the restaurant. A little gem in the middle of seemingly nowhere! Zero access to public transport but that's the only negative, if at all. A very helpful front desk, clean & neat rooms, an adequate gym, golf shop, a mini supermarket and above all a fantastic eating experience! You can watch your food being cooked 'live' in front of you - the spread is simply amazing. Easily the best breakfast I've ever had while travelling. Definitely worth staying at especially if you don't need to get into Vienna proper.

This hotel is only a 6 minute walk to the tram line which leaves you right in the centre. The self check in was easy and handy for us as we arrived late at night. The staff were very friendly. Clean room. Great shower!! Only complaint is the door of the bathroom which is also the door for the shower. Exceeded my expectations for a budget hotel!

Location: 15 minutes by car from Vienna Airport. If you want to enter the city, there is no car. Can sit on S7. Turn left at the hotel and walk to S7 for an estimated 15 minutes. The hotel can be called Taxi, or the hotel's own van. Price 15.5 Euro Breakfast costs 9 euros, I didn't add it, no comment. But the restaurant provides hot water 24 hours. There is no kettle in the room. Pick it up at the restaurant. The domestic grade, the first choice for transit, wins in the price / performance ratio! Parking is provided free of charge. The room is a bit small.
