Still the nicest place to stay in Ilheus, but a couple issues made it less than ideal this time.
The facilities are nice, the food is good and reasonably priced, and the location on the beach is great. This place has been my go to for many years.
This trip, we had problems getting served at lunch time in two different restaurants. The first time was an hour ordeal, the second day we left after waiting for 25 minutes while all the tables around us were being served. Maybe because we aren't Brazilian?
My other issue this trip is they gave us what i consider to be the worst room in the resort because every guest walks by it: room 11. This is the second time in four trips they've given me that room. I've ended up switching rooms both times. My recommendation is don't take a room number less than 21, the higher the better, because people walk by talking. I stated this in my reservation request but it didn't do any good.
Because of both of these issues, I'm going to try a different place on my next visit even though i like the Jardim Atlantico.

Excelente localização, com praia tranquila, próximo ao aeroporto, ao centro histórico e supermmercado.
Estrutura mto boa, tem de tudo no hotel inclusive massoterapia e salão de beleza.
Café da manhã com boa variedade.
Restaurante com preços justos e ótima comida.
Funcionários mto prestativos e mto educados!!

Acomodações muito boas, atendimento excelente o tempo todo, comida do restaurante deles é de alto padrão, espaço externo sempre limpo com tudo funcionando e muitas opções do que fazer, fui de casal mas é excelente para famílias com crianças. Outro ponto importante é que a praia é segura, bonita e limpa. Sem aquela aglomeração exagerada de pessoas também.
Melhorias: Colocar um guarda sol nas redes externas ou algum teto porque durante a noite retiram as redes e durante o dia deitar por mais que alguns minutos nelas tomando sol na cara não é agradável. Trocar o aparelho de papel higiênico por um rolo normal, a torneira da pia do banheiro tem que deixar a agua aberta por mais tempo e o ralo do box demora muito pra a água descer, até alaga. E avisar que tinha repelente no quarto, pra por na tomada porque a gente só foi descobrir na hora de ir embora.
Fora esses detalhes, recomendo bastante o lugar.
