1. On 5/28/2022, I arrived to the hotel at 3pm which I was scheduled for my room to be ready. 2. I was told that my mother in law room was ready but mine was not, I was informed by the front desk that I would have to wait an hour before the room was ready, and she would call me. I then asked for the manager who was beside her if they do anything for long term customers, he informed that he would email the manager group to see if it was anything that they could do for me as of today 6/5/2022 I haven't received a call, text nor email about this. I left the hotel to get food after speaking with Tony the manager at the time. The front desk person called me at 6:49pm to inform me that my room was ready now after waiting 3 hours and 49 minutes. 2. After returning to the room, I was quite disappointed that I couldn't use my daily $30 credits the first day because I returned after 9pm and I was informed by the front desk person that I couldn't get any water or snacks from the snack room. I have never experienced customer services like this at a Hilton before. 3. When my family and I entered the room there was toothpaste on the glasses in the bathroom, terrible wear on the toilet seat both of which I have photos of. 4. After getting settled into the room and trying to make the best of the time that was wasted, the next morning my wife went down to ask for additional towels and was told we don't have any more towels because housekeeping didn't leave any more. So, I had to leave the hotel again and purchase additional towels for my family to use and shower with. I felt as it I paid $20 for my entire stay instead of $500 plus dollars for 2 days. This was the worse experience and I didn't even get an apology, it was as if I needed to just deal with it and shut it. Can someone please help me with this and make it right, that's all I ask.

Hotel Saint Sophia

Sultan Ahmed Mosque Istanbul|0.14km from Hagia Sophia
Highly recommended, location: Istanbul - the core location of the old town tour. Opposite the window is the groundwater palace exit; another room window facing the Sofia Cathedral, 50 meters walk from the back door of the hotel is the exit and entrance of Topkapi Palace; the entrance to the hotel is 60 meters away from the entrance to the Sofia Church, the entrance to the church Close to the Blue Mosque and the Church Square; it is a century-old house in the old European district. It seems that the pedestrians who appear on the window are very European. In the morning, we walked along the wall of Topkapi Palace to the beach to see the locals swimming in the sea; visit the church, the palace, and the mosque; the hotel is very close, you can go back to the room and take a shower before you can go; see the pedestrians and dogs in the square in the afternoon. Dogs play; at night, the church and the square are dimly lit, and there are many barbecues and various food choices around the street. Look for locals to visit and enjoy the food. It is very convenient to live in the scenic spot; Hotel service: 8:00 early flight to the hotel, handsome guys chat for a while, help us to stay directly. Very enthusiastic. Hotel soft service is 5 star quality; the hotel has 2 free bicycles, and interested friends can cycle around Sofia Square. Hardware facilities: The rooms are not large. For those who are used to large-sized luxury houses, they should be mentally prepared in advance. It is difficult to expect large rooms in the old European city. The room area is in line with our expectations. The interior is equipped with fine details and various services, belonging to the boutique hotel. Breakfast: more abundant, there are questions about the degree of omelette and coffee juice, the service is 5 stars. During the period, there were lonely boasting people who performed similar rotating dance music. The next day, considering the need to go to the Grand Bazaar to facilitate the peninsula of another hotel in AJW, it turned out to be a mistake and should stay in the hotel for another night. AJWa is twice as expensive. In the vicinity of the Grand Bazaar, the interior decoration is luxurious, but it needs a very steep slope. It is very hard. It is a wholesaler of shoes. It is a bit messy at night. It is still a little worried to walk back to the alley of the hotel. .

Valide Sultan Konagi

Sultan Ahmed Mosque Istanbul|0.2km from Hagia Sophia
Loved our stay at Turkey, the hotel’s close to a street full of restaurants and a bazaar (all of which are walking distance) which make mealtimes easy to plan around. A very short walking distance from Gülhane Park and the Archeological museum, alongside the Palace and a few different but gorgeous mosques, if you’re looking for a place to stay during a family trip with the main goal of sight-seeing this place is amazing. The general area is quite tourist-y, but that also means that venders and taxi drivers speak stronger English and tend to be more patient with directions and whatnot. It’s worth noting that it’s also in an older part of Istanbul, with beautifully stone paved roads and fascinating architecture. The rooms were a little small as mentioned by other reviews, but that’s the only thing separating this hotel from a “five star” establishment. All other hotels in this area have similar sizes as well, because they’ve reused old buildings instead of tearing them down to build new hotels. A slightly smaller room size is definitely nothing compared to it’s perfect location and quality of care. The hospitality was amazing. All of our questions were answered, we had a few cups of tea and sweets on the house, we were given directions and even helped with the booking of a cruise on the third night there. The cleaning staff were top-notch and breakfast was amazing. Our toddler was especially fond of the older gentleman who helped us at breakfast, which is telling as she’s usually quite shy. All in all, the feeling of this hotel was very warm. They made it seem as if it was a genuine pleasure to have us there, and we spoke to them as if they were our good friends, not service providers. Asking for help was easy, and they even helped us set up our wifi when I kept on typing the passwords wrong (the password provided was correct — I was just clumsy). The hotel was definitely the foundation of our wonderful experience at Turkey, and when we do visit the country again we’ll most definitely come back to this hotel.

Hotel Mara İstanbul

Istanbul|0.08km from Istiklal Avenue
”My experience at the Mara Hotel in Istanbul, located just a few steps from Istiklal Street, was far from pleasant. I had originally booked a single room, but what I encountered didn't resemble a proper room. It seemed more like a converted space that might have once served as a doghouse or storage. The room was outdated, and the odor was reminiscent of a dirty public restroom in a remote location. I was left utterly speechless, questioning how they could offer such accommodations to guests. I strongly advise against placing too much trust in their ratings; it feels like a scam. Reluctantly, I declined the initial room and accepted a double bed room for an additional fee. Unfortunately, it was in a similar state, albeit slightly larger, with a double bed adorned with a dirty sheet riddled with hair and stains. The floor was equally grimy with dust and dirt. Whether or not you decide to give it a try, my personal experience was less than satisfactory. Cheers.”

Awesome staff, fresh new hotel, awesome prices, ckean and very accommodating staff. The staff was very flexible in our booking due to our travel situation. We received much needed rest and felt refreshed when departing. The Osmanli restaurant is just across the street with parralel stellar setvice. It is about a 10 min ride from the Istanbul sirport and a fraction of the cost of chain hotels in the area very clean modern and excellent value. As in its name...close to the airport. Will definitely stay there again!
