"The room was a bit dated, and the tropical humidity made the wooden cabinets smell a bit musty. The transparent shower door also looked a little dirty. On the positive side, the breakfast was delicious and varied daily. There were also multiple swimming pools. The hotel is very close to Karon Beach, just across the road from the entrance. Taxis and public transport seemed quite convenient. There's a market and a street on both sides of the hotel, making it easy to find massages and places to eat."

"We stayed in a room with direct pool access for 4 nights and had a very warm, welcoming hospitality experience overall. The staff were excellent, but the hotel itself and its facilities were a bit hit-and-miss. The property feels dated and could use some renovation—the buildings show discoloration, and there was mold in the bathroom along with an unpleasant odor, possibly from the septic system. One highlight was the complimentary minibar, which was replenished daily with water, soft drinks, Chang beer, whisky, vodka, gin, snacks, and even a lovely small dessert in the evening. Getting around can be a bit challenging without your own car or motorbike, especially for elderly guests, as the hotel is located on a hill about 15–20 minutes from the town center. There is a shuttle service to and from Jungceylon Shopping Mall, but it only runs every couple of hours and stops at 9 PM. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and I’d definitely recommend booking a rate that includes it. The rooftop bar and restaurant are a standout feature, with stunning panoramic ocean views and a great selection of drinks and cocktails."

"This was my third stay at this hotel! They've added a sauna, steam room, and hot/cold plunge pools this year, which was a very comfortable experience! The service was as attentive as ever, the hygiene was impeccable, and the environment was very quiet! On the day I checked out, while enjoying the sauna, I met the hotel owner (the gentleman in the hot tub in picture three). He was incredibly humble and enthusiastic, chatting with me and asking for suggestions for improvement. He generously offered me a complimentary Thai massage and even bought me two beers! All in all, I will definitely choose to stay at this hotel again!"

"Location of the hotel was on top of a hill where you need to take a lift to go up to their lobby to check in Bell service,receptionist and Fnb staff service was friendly. We stay at a honeymoon suite where there is a big jacuzzi at the balcony with good privacy. They also provide a small bottle of shower gel for you to make up the bubble in the jacuzzi. Room was nicely decorated with rose petal and towel arts. However, room amenities was very basic for a suite room. They only provide 2 bottle of drinking water and a pack of chips. It was too stingy for a guest that pay more than 5000 baht for 1 night stay. The next day I was staying in Amari Patong and their amenities are way better. We take a room with a breakfast with a perception that this is a Gourmet hotel. However, it was a great disappointment. Breakfast was very basic and no variety."

"Coconut Village Resort is quite good in terms of both location and cleanliness. It's close to the beach. There's also a 7-Eleven store outside the hotel. Bangla Market is 1 km away. I'm a little disappointed with the management because I booked two rooms about a month and a half ago. I had two children with me, but they gave us separate rooms. According to the booking, they should have reserved the adjacent room for me.Rooms 110 and 113 are both in the same direction and a short walk down the stairs. I requested a room as well, but they said there were no rooms available. So it's the management's fault."

"This resort is nestled on a quiet hillside near Karon Beach, offering a peaceful escape (about a 15-minute walk from Karon Circle, with a shuttle available hourly to Karon Beach). Built into the mountain, it boasts beautiful views. There are eight buildings, each four stories high, ensuring every room has a great view. While the hillside is steep, there's an elevator for convenience. The hotel service is excellent, and the staff are very friendly. The food at the restaurant is delicious. The water quality at the hotel is good, so there's no need for an additional filter shower head. Overall, it's a fantastic resort for families and couples! I'll definitely be back!"

"Lived for 2 days in September 2024. On the second floor. Simple room decor. Nothing extra, but everything is there. High-quality internet. Hot water in the shower and good pressure. The only thing missing was a normal chair in the room. And there was no table on the balcony. But that's a small thing. Friendly staff. For the money, it's quite good."

"A great hotel. They call themselves ‘The Oasis of Patong’ and they’re not wrong. Close enough to the madness so it’s within a 15 minute walk to Bangla Rd but far enough away that it’s nice and quiet to make a relaxing stay. The pool area is great for relaxing and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had a great stay and will be back."

"The hotel itself looks beautiful. The rooms are good, nice balcony with amazing view (when the guys next door are not smoking), small bathroom. The hotel is 1.7 kms from the main beach, can walk to there if you’re not scared of sweating as it’s hilly. The closest beach is great for looking for shells and starfish but too many rocks for swimming. The staff is very disorganised- they asked us to pay a deposit so that we could put the bills on the room, but then told up there was no deposit. They called us at 10 pm to come and pay for the extra bed the first night while we were staying 3 nights, we had bills on our room who were not ours, many times we had misleading information. Fortunately one guy at reception was patient and smart and cleared everything. Restaurant was ok. You can find better value for money"

"I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Clover. The location is excellent, making it very convenient to get around and explore the area. What truly stood out to me was the breakfast. It was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of options. I especially appreciated the attention to detail—fresh fruits and hot dishes were thoughtfully prepared and changed daily, which made each morning feel special. I highly recommend not missing the breakfast during your stay. The staff were also exceptional. They were not only friendly but very professional, always ready to assist with a warm attitude. If I had to mention one small downside, it would be the swimming pool. Since it is located on the rooftop, there is very little shade during the day, which makes it a bit difficult to enjoy swimming under the strong sun. Overall, aside from that minor point, everything about this hotel was excellent. I would definitely consider staying here again."
