Youyou Holiday Hotel

Service: From parking at the door, to check-in, to the room, and then introducing the hotel’s meals, everything is so proficient and well-organized, introducing how to visit the scenic spot, and assisting in buying tickets for the scenic spot. In short, it is very comfortable and feels like home Hygiene: The room is very clean, the bedding is very comfortable, and their down vests are very good. Environment: There is an independent yard, where you can enjoy the shade, sit and drink Tibetan tea, it doesn't feel too good -.- Facilities: complete facilities, the yak meat soup pot in the restaurant on the second floor, the soup is delicious, and I decided to stay for another day for breakfast and dinner. In short, it is cost-effective
Kuobo Qiongxi Private Tang Homestay (Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area Visitor Center Branch)

Great location - near the Jiuzhaiguo site. Warm and comfortable room. Friendly and helpful receptionists. Breakfast was simple - porridge, buns/man tou, soya drink and sweet potato. Some issue with Trip.com which featured the room we booked has swimming pool/bathtub in the room while there was none. The receptionists were very kind and upgraded us a room with bathtub. Suggest Trip.com correct the room features. Otherwise such misunderstanding will occur. Receptionist recommended us to a nearby ******* restaurant. The BBQ lamb was excellent. Hot pot yak is average - expensive and not much flavour. If going to Jiuzhaiguo in winter , suggest use heat pads for hands and body. It’s very cold - minus 4 degrees Celsius while we were there. Hualong mountain and JZ - truly a breathtaking sight in winter. It’s a winter wonderland! Must see at least once in a life time.
Jiuzhaigou FunShine B&B

The B&B is very clean, the service attitude is very good, and there is also a service to the entrance of Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. It is very convenient to stay here for self-driving tours, and there are many things to eat. I ate at the boss's restaurant when I checked in at night, and it was delicious. There was breakfast in the morning, and it was just right to go to Jiuzhaigou after eating. It was ten minutes drive from the entrance of the valley without traffic jams. It was very convenient and recommended.
Tingquan Qingju Hotel

The first glimpse I stepped in at this hotel impressed me, the location is very close to Jiuzhaigou entrance, and there are many restaurants and groceries nearby, absolutely convenient. Also, the room when i saw at first was relatively clean. However, things started to get worse, the bathroom, if looked closer, there were no towels provided for feet nor hands, which means after you finished taking a shower, the floor is gonna get wet all over the places, the amenities were so-so, the flush and the shower were loose, they needed to be fixed properly. Moreover, they hanged the hair dryer bag without any hair dryer in it, what for? The room was okay, not fantastic but not terrible. In the morning, i have to get up so early because of the cars and buses pushing horns to each other, i don’t understand why many people here doing this. To me this is rude and harms others while they are sleeping. The internet here is amazing at the first night, very quick and effective, but on the second day it was a dead lack. Overalls, a budget hotel that surrounded by many convenience stores and restaurants, close to Jiuzhaigou, but also comes with noise-pollution. The interiors were not as good as in the pictures, will find another hotel instead.
Bijiaxiaozhu boutique Inn in Jiuzhaigou
4.5/5131 Reviews
The location of this inn is literally in the centre of the town, which provides easy access to restaurants (for ******* food and BBQ, can ask for recommendations from the inn owner Xiao Bi or Mr Feng) and the most famous show ”Jiu Zai Qian Gu Qing” (highly recommended even if you can't speak Chinese)(15 mins walk). Although it is a bit distant from the national park entrance (10 mins driving distance), the owner Mr. Feng offered free transportation taking us there and picking us up. The owners were really friendly and helpful. There is an in-house restaurant which serves local specialties such as highland beef hotpot and wild mushroom free range chicken hotpot. The home-made honey yogurt barley wheat bread was super delicious. We had to leave early for a bus back to Chengdu (7.45am), Xiao Bi made an effort to get up early to cook us noodles for breakfast. Beautiful scenery around the Inn. The inn was converted from a traditional ******* property. The rooms were decorated and furnished in a Chinese style and each bed comes with its own panda. The inn provides disposable towels every day, which is probably not everyone's cup of tea, as they are quite small if you have long hair, but there is a hair dryer available. This inn is for people who like to enjoy the slow pace of life in the Highlands (you can't rush physically as you could easily get out of breath due to low oxygen levels) and who like social interaction with other travellers and inn owners. The owners are not English speaking but they have no problems communicating with non Chinese speakers using a translation app.
