5-Star Hotels in Jiuzhaigou

I rarely write reviews, but I just had to before I even checked out this time. The service was absolutely fantastic! We originally booked the No. 1 courtyard, but they upgraded us to the No. 5 courtyard upon arrival. They helped us book tickets for the show and even provided pick-up and drop-off. They also arranged transportation to scenic spots and recommended a variety of local delicacies, giving us more options to choose from. However, we still preferred eating at the guesthouse – it was clean, quiet, delicious, had great views, and used fresh ingredients. The stay was very comfortable, and all three generations of our family were extremely satisfied with the experience. Huahua is so adorable! It's wonderful to see a dog so free yet still part of a family. As a dog owner, I can't stand guesthouses that keep dogs just for marketing purposes. Huahua here is genuinely happy and very friendly. My child kept saying they wanted to come back to see Huahua again before we left. I hope to see Huahua living such a happy life next time too!

We stayed at this B&B for three nights during the off-peak season in early February in Jiuzhaigou and were extremely satisfied with their attentive, butler-style service; we truly felt at home. Perhaps because it was the off-season with fewer travelers, the B&B provided dedicated car transfers to and from the scenic area every day. It's less than a fifteen-minute drive from the Jiuzhaigou Visitor Center, and the service was basically on-call. The staff mentioned that the vegetables served in the restaurant were homegrown, and the eggs came from their own chickens. The chef cooked our meals fresh to order every time. During the off-season, we were the only two dining in the entire restaurant. The ingredients were fresh, the cooking was simple, and the food was absolutely delicious! As foodies who love good food, we especially want to commend the B&B's chef 👍. Regarding accommodation, the room had both floor heating and air conditioning. On the first night, the B&B had preset the floor heating to 24 degrees Celsius, which we found a bit too warm. We didn't know how to adjust the temperature, so it remained uncomfortably hot. However, on the second day, the B&B staff lowered the preset temperature, and it was perfectly comfortable for the rest of our stay. The B&B doesn't have a gym or a swimming pool, but after enjoying our meals each day, we could burn off energy in the scenic area, so these facilities didn't seem necessary. The B&B also has ostriches and sika deer, where guests can experience feeding them cabbage through a fence. Additionally, there's a beautiful reading room with many books about Sichuan tourist attractions. Overall, we were extremely satisfied and highly recommend it.

This is my favorite hotel from all my travels. After visiting Jiuzhaigou, we checked in, and someone was there to pick us up and help with our luggage. The welcome fruit was delicious too. We had three activity options during our stay, and we chose the ******* lifestyle experience, which our child really enjoyed. The scenery is absolutely stunning; majestic snow-capped mountains above and lush green grasslands below. During the day, we rode horses and wandered through the mountains, feeling the wind weave through the trees 🌿. What I loved most, though, was quietly sitting and transcribing scriptures, finding inner peace through the ink and brush. I must say, this design is truly excellent. As night fell, we gathered around the bonfire and danced enthusiastically with the locals. At night, you can look up and see a sky full of brilliant stars 🌌. The staff were incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home. I was a little sad to leave, but I will definitely be back. Leaving the hustle and bustle of the world behind for a moment, Stealing two days of tranquil mountain peace, Here, time itself slows down. The welcome fruit upon check-in was absolutely delicious.

An absolutely wonderful stay! The front desk lady upgraded our room to one with a balcony and even gave us a small gift when she found out we were on our honeymoon – so thoughtful! **Environment:** Excellent, with beautiful mountain views. The whole place is very quiet, and the decor is stylish! **Service:** Very attentive. They arranged a driver to take us to Jiuzhaigou every day, and the driver was also super nice. The yak noodle soup for breakfast was delicious, and the lady who cooked it was so friendly, making us feel right at home. **Facilities:** Very complete, including an open-air hot spring bath, tatami mats, and free ******* costume photography. A shame we didn't get to experience them this time, but we'll definitely come back if we have the chance!

✅ Free shuttle service to/from scenic area: The hotel is in a great location, quite close to Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. After exploring, you just need to walk to the Agricultural Bank of China in front of the scenic area, and a dedicated hotel shuttle will pick you up. ✅ Enjoy free 3 PM late check-out: We checked in after visiting Jiuzhaigou on the first day, and the next day we were very tired and just wanted to relax. Luckily, the hotel offered late check-out until 3 PM, so we got excellent rest. ✅ ******* costume photo opportunity within Jiuzhaigou: I didn't experience this service myself, but I saw ******* costumes available in the hotel lobby, which aligns with their promotion – very nice. ✅ Service: There were welcome fruits 🍐 in the room. I must commend the front desk staff. The in-room phone was always answered promptly. When checking in, the front desk attendant saw that our children were middle schoolers, not toddlers, and worried they wouldn't fit. She then kindly upgraded our room type for free 👍👍 Overall, it was a fantastic stay!!

Extremely satisfied, highly recommend! Choosing Indigo for our Jiuzhaigou trip was an excellent decision. The hotel has a distinct ******* style throughout, and the rooms are quite spacious. It's located right in a commercial complex, so there are plenty of dining and shopping options just outside, perfect for a little stroll. There's also a ******* museum nearby. The hotel offers a complimentary ******* thangka printing experience, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was delicious, featuring some unique ******* snacks and desserts. Guests can also borrow traditional ******* clothing for free. Inside the hotel, there are small prayer wheels and prayer flags, making for great photo opportunities.

The environment here is fantastic, with pristine forest right behind the property. On clear days, you can even see snow-capped mountains across the way and behind us, though it's quite atmospheric even on cloudy days. It's truly untouched; we saw wild rabbits hopping around and herders' horses grazing nearby. The breakfast was delicious, and the yak hotpot we had for dinner was pretty good too. I also highly recommend exploring the village down the mountain.

Extremely satisfied with our stay. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the Qianguqing scenic area, making transportation very convenient. The decor is beautiful, elegant, and grand. Our room was spacious, well-equipped, clean, hygienic, and quiet, and even had a separate walk-in closet. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive. We were upgraded to a deluxe twin room for free because we had a child, and received welcome fruits and snacks. The breakfast selection was abundant. What particularly touched us was that we left our child's clothes in the room when checking out, and customer service promptly called us, allowing us to pick them up after we finished our sightseeing.

Ken Li Kun, the branch manager, was incredibly attentive and patient throughout my stay. They never shied away from an issue, proactively communicated at the first sign of trouble, and efficiently resolved everything. Their demeanor was warm and polite, and their professionalism truly stood out. This meticulous and thoughtful service significantly enhanced my overall experience. I highly commend this manager's professional ethics, and it's thanks to excellent staff like them that the hotel's reputation shines so brightly. Special recognition is definitely due.

I've always been a big fan of Banyan Tree, having stayed at their properties in Yangshuo and Lijiang. So, arriving at Banyan Tree Jiuzhaigou after navigating the winding mountain roads felt perfectly in line with Banyan Tree's selection criteria – truly a haven away from the hustle and bustle. The hotel is situated at a higher elevation, offering breathtaking views, and a hike through the forest on its private hilltop leads to a small 'haizi' (highland lake). The signature incense, the aroma of their amenities, and the soft music wafting through the grass are all hallmarks of the Banyan Tree experience. Both the service and comfort levels met expectations. The hotel's design and materials are excellent, but I must admit that perhaps due to its age, or the challenging maintenance in the misty mountain environment, several areas are showing their wear and tear.
