5-Star Hotels in Jiuzhaigou

We stayed at this B&B for three nights during the off-peak season in early February in Jiuzhaigou and were extremely satisfied with their attentive, butler-style service; we truly felt at home. Perhaps because it was the off-season with fewer travelers, the B&B provided dedicated car transfers to and from the scenic area every day. It's less than a fifteen-minute drive from the Jiuzhaigou Visitor Center, and the service was basically on-call. The staff mentioned that the vegetables served in the restaurant were homegrown, and the eggs came from their own chickens. The chef cooked our meals fresh to order every time. During the off-season, we were the only two dining in the entire restaurant. The ingredients were fresh, the cooking was simple, and the food was absolutely delicious! As foodies who love good food, we especially want to commend the B&B's chef 👍. Regarding accommodation, the room had both floor heating and air conditioning. On the first night, the B&B had preset the floor heating to 24 degrees Celsius, which we found a bit too warm. We didn't know how to adjust the temperature, so it remained uncomfortably hot. However, on the second day, the B&B staff lowered the preset temperature, and it was perfectly comfortable for the rest of our stay. The B&B doesn't have a gym or a swimming pool, but after enjoying our meals each day, we could burn off energy in the scenic area, so these facilities didn't seem necessary. The B&B also has ostriches and sika deer, where guests can experience feeding them cabbage through a fence. Additionally, there's a beautiful reading room with many books about Sichuan tourist attractions. Overall, we were extremely satisfied and highly recommend it.

This is definitely one of the best places to stay when visiting Jiuzhaigou. The location is excellent — quite close to the park, and the hotel also provides a convenient shuttle service. But honestly, I enjoyed the hotel itself so much that I spent two full days just relaxing there and walking around the mountains nearby. The views are absolutely incredible. The hotel has a direct view of the mountains, and I could simply lie on a sun lounger, enjoy the scenery, and do nothing else. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, which makes it a perfect place to slow down and enjoy nature. My room was very clean and had great amenities. I especially loved having a bathtub on the balcony. Taking a hot bath in the evening while the air outside was cool and looking at the mountains was such a great experience. A special thank you to the reception team — everyone was fantastic. They helped me with everything I needed, were always available, and genuinely seemed happy to help. Great service! The hotel also has a lovely property with plenty of space to walk around, and there are even cats and a little goat around the hotel, which adds a lot of charm to the place. My only small suggestion would be to consider installing an additional filtration system for the swimming pool. Since the hotel is surrounded by forests and fields, some insects naturally end up in the pool. I completely understand that this comes with being so close to nature, but hopefully this can be improved by my next visit. There are several well-known international hotel brands further down in the valley, but in my opinion, the views from this hotel are on another level. 100% recommended. I would definitely stay here again!

An absolutely wonderful stay! The front desk lady upgraded our room to one with a balcony and even gave us a small gift when she found out we were on our honeymoon – so thoughtful! **Environment:** Excellent, with beautiful mountain views. The whole place is very quiet, and the decor is stylish! **Service:** Very attentive. They arranged a driver to take us to Jiuzhaigou every day, and the driver was also super nice. The yak noodle soup for breakfast was delicious, and the lady who cooked it was so friendly, making us feel right at home. **Facilities:** Very complete, including an open-air hot spring bath, tatami mats, and free ******* costume photography. A shame we didn't get to experience them this time, but we'll definitely come back if we have the chance!

Honestly, when I first booked the Wanda Hotel, I was a bit hesitant because I had seen quite a few negative reviews before. However, with National Day approaching, I really didn't want to spend over a thousand yuan staying at a 'certain brand' hotel, so I finally decided to give this one a try. First of all, I think the hotel as a whole is very good; it's more of a resort-style property with many buildings. We stayed in a building towards the back of the hotel, so we used the shuttle bus. The shuttle bus driver was very enthusiastic; on our second day, when we were heading to Jiuzhaigou, he was waiting for us outside our building before 7 AM to take us to the restaurant. We booked a family suite, which included a living room and a bedroom. The area was very spacious. After returning from the scenic area, it was quite pleasant for the whole family to sit in the living room and watch TV. Next, regarding the hotel's location, to be honest, the hotel is a bit far from the scenic area. We drove to the scenic area around 7:30 AM, and it took about 30 minutes in practice because there was a very congested section near the entrance to the valley, but the actual experience was acceptable. In the afternoon, there was no traffic on the way back, and it only took 20 minutes. Compared to the crowded valley entrance, I actually found this place very quiet and a good spot to relax. Then, about the hotel's restaurants. We had two breakfasts and two dinners at the hotel. Yes, we didn't go anywhere else for dinner because my family felt that although the hotel's dinner selection wasn't extensive, the food was delicious and offered great value for money, and the service staff were particularly genuine in recommending dishes to us. Breakfast deserves even more praise; the variety was incredibly rich, better than many hotels I've stayed at in the city, and the taste was fantastic! We stayed for two days, and the breakfast buffet actually changed its offerings. And the coffee tasted surprisingly good; we were full when we went to play in Jiuzhaigou, and we weren't even hungry by noon, thanks to the ample energy, otherwise, the restaurants inside Jiuzhaigou are really terrible. Oh, and outside the restaurant, there's a field of Gesang flowers, which is very beautiful. Finally, let's talk about the hotel service. The hotel offers a butler-style service, which means adding the butler's WeChat and communicating any needs via WeChat. Our butler, Xiao Zeng, was excellent and promptly helped us solve problems; he was responsive to all our requests. Seeing that we were a family of three, he even gifted us an extra breakfast. The hotel also provides many additional free items, and although we didn't use them, we felt it reflected the hotel's thoughtful service. The unexpected surprise was a section in the hotel selling agricultural products to support local farmers. The owner enthusiastically offered us samples, and they were surprisingly delicious, truly crispy and sweet. The next day, we simply bought a whole box to take with us. It's said to be locally picked, and the owner said if we weren't in a hurry, we could go directly to the orchard with him to pick our own, but unfortunately, we had our next itinerary planned, so we didn't go. There were also crispy sugar plums for sale nearby, which were also very tasty, but crispy sugar plums don't keep well, so we didn't buy them. While I've mentioned the good aspects, the hotel also has some areas that need improvement. I think, overall, the training of the service staff should be strengthened. The professionalism of hotel staff is often reflected in details, such as basic smiling service, or thinking an extra step from the guest's perspective. Additionally, some of the hotel's hardware needs regular maintenance and observation; for example, the TV in our bedroom wasn't working this time. After the housekeeping staff checked it, they said it was likely due to insufficient bandwidth and couldn't be fixed immediately. However, this wasn't a major issue. Overall, I recommend this hotel to guests visiting Jiuzhaigou!

The hotel service was good, and they offered a shuttle bus to Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. The hotel arranged a shared ride from the high-speed rail station. The room was decent, and the environment was on par with a four-star hotel. Its main advantage is being relatively quiet compared to the noisy entrance area of the scenic park, and dining options are convenient. The hotel breakfast was also pretty good, with a decent variety.

Huge thanks to Cherry at the front desk for her incredibly warm help. When we weren't satisfied with our room, she and her manager, especially one male manager, went above and beyond to assist us. They showed us several rooms to choose from. When we still weren't happy, seeing our numerous large suitcases and our child, the male manager directly upgraded us to a suite. We are so grateful, and our child loved it too. We'll definitely choose this hotel again when we visit Jiuzhaigou next time. We made sure to express our gratitude to the manager again when we checked out! We later learned that this male manager had worked at a Marriott hotel in Suzhou, and since we are also from Suzhou, it felt like a real coincidence! Finally, we want to express our whole family's thanks once more.

So glad we chose this forest hotel; it really added a unique touch to our trip. It's located deep inside Zhongzhagou Valley, which is already stunning. If you're not in a rush to get to Jiuzhaigou, you could easily spend a few extra days here. There's even a hiking trail behind the hotel if you're into that. We were incredibly lucky and spotted wild rabbits on the lawn in the afternoon, evening, and early morning! The hotel also offers dining, and there are ******* restaurants in the village. However, you'll find more options down the mountain, which is only about a fifteen-minute drive away. We had to leave after breakfast to head to Jiuzhaigou, but we definitely could have stayed another day to explore the surrounding scenery.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the scenic area entrance, which saves a lot of time getting in and out. The hotel facilities are complete, clean, and hygienic. The breakfast is rich and delicious with a wide variety of options. The staff are warm and attentive. I will definitely stay here again.

Choosing the Howard Johnson Tianyuan Resort was definitely the right decision for our stay in Jiuzhaigou! 🏔️ It's a Tibetan-style resort built into the mountains, with comfortable rooms and forest hot springs that are perfect for relieving fatigue. What truly made our stay exceptional was our dedicated butler, Gesang. Her service was incredibly thoughtful. She contacted us in advance to help plan our itinerary, patiently answered all our questions about exploring the area, and was always available when we needed anything. Her attention to detail was outstanding. Plus, it's right next door to the Romance Park, offering a one-stop shop for dining, entertainment, and fun. Staying here in Jiuzhaigou brought us so much joy.

Both managers were professional and enthusiastic, handled our check-in efficiently, patiently answered all our questions, and proactively provided information about nearby attractions. We had a small request during our stay, and both managers promptly helped coordinate and resolve it. Their service was thoughtful and thorough, making us feel right at home. The entire front desk team was very well-trained, offering meticulous and warm service. We will definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit and highly recommend it to everyone!
