Sunrise Suites & Apartments

A big thank-you to Nikos and his staff Konstantina, Nectaria, Dimitria and Ali (and of course the cleaning staff) for making us feel welcome and ensuring that we had a memorable stay at Sunrise Suites. Their attention to detail is impeccable. Do not hesitate to go and see for yourselves - you will not be disappointed. We certainly hope to visit again some day!

Just returned from a weeks stay at the Sunrise Suites which was very enjoyable. The management and all the staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us, nothing was too much trouble. Only 10 mins walk downhill to the shops , restaurants and beach, but uphill walk back will leave you fitter by the end of the week. Very clean and tidy complex with pool and bar also good restaurant on site . All in all we had a great holiday/break and would recommend the Sunrise Suites .

What can I say, this has got to be one of the most welcoming hotels I have ever been too! Me and my partner came here for his 30th birthday for a get away and we were not disappointed the views were amazing and the people better still! When the manager Nikolaos found out it was my birthday he got some pancakes made for us off menu and was on the house! He can also make a very good mojito, also Constantina (may not have spelt the names right 😂) made some really good cocktails to keep it up! And a big thank you to all of the team! All in all great views, great prices, very close to the beach and a very good all round clean and welcoming hotel, we want to come back here again for sure this year!

My daughter and I visited Kalyves and stayed at Sunrise Suites. What a little gem of a place. The location of the hotel is great, set on a hill with amazing views over the bay. The apar**ent had an amazing view. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach and all if the amenities of Kalyves. All of the staff are anazing and go the extra mile to make sure that you enjoy your stay. The food from the restaurant is great and very resonably priced. We also enjoyed food from the pool bar. The food ranges from local dishes like dakos and slouvaki to burgers , everything that we had was delicious. The apar**ents are a good size and are immaculate. They are cleaned every day. I would definately stay here again and would highly recommend.

Most amazing hotel. Quiet in the early may but so relaxing 5 min walk from a little village 25 min drive from the town Chania which is £30 roughly in taxi or £5 each for the local bus. Beautiful beach near by. The pool is chlorine nice and refreshing has a Children pool and an adult pool. Inflatables are allowed which me and my partner loved as some we have previously stayed in don’t allow. The rooms are cleaned everyday nice spacious rooms with balcony’s overlooking the pool and the sea the sunsets are beautiful almost every night! The staff have been more than welcoming so kind considerate always asking if we have everything we need chatting round the pool asking our plans for the day, if we had a nice day etc. The manager is very pleasant always making sure we have enjoyed our food and drinks. Offering any help and support if needed They may not have all inclusive but the food is outstanding, we had breakfast lunch and dinner. Breakfast could do with some more TLC but may get better into the height of the seasons. Lunch and dinner was delightful so many options and flavours. Really enjoyed the chicken club for lunch and the sausages as a starter in the restaurant. The rooftop restaurant wasn’t open when we first arrived but opened towards the end of our stay it’s beautiful overlooking the sea and mountains very relaxed with a modern design. Me and my partner have enjoyed our stay here and would be more than happy to come back. We didn’t want a party holiday so glad we booked this hotel it’s just what we wanted and more.

Wow! Just came back from a week here and it was amazing! Nikos & Konstantina are lovely, kind, engaging and passionate about their guests having a good time. We stayed in the two level Grand Maisonette (PanoramaView) self catering. The rooms were fantastic, clean, looked after. Cleaned everyday and fresh towels/bed linen. Kitchen was well stocked with the usual plates, bowls, cups, glasses, cutlery etc a nice surprise was the kettle AND coffee machine AND Briki pot for making Greek coffee PLUS new hand towels, sponges and washing up liquid. The biggest selling point of this place, apart from the staff were the views, just amazing! We had such a good time, we hope to be back in Sept/Oct. Thank you so much x

The accommodation was perfect. Very clean and well presented. The pool was lovely and for the time of year the weather was fantastic. Staff were unbelievably good; very friendly and extremely helpful. Overall it was a lovely break made even better by being here.

Had a lovely 2 weeks here. Pool area very nice and quiet and had breakfast 4 times and was very nice. Shout out to the cleaners, very efficient. Air conditioning was free and was a godsend in July/ August. The walk back up to the apar**ents from the town or beach especially with 6 bottles of water in the heat is a workout to say the least. Anyone with walking difficulties would struggle. All the hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Our only minor ****** was when we came to leave. If you have a later flight, check out is 12, and there are no private shower facilities. Shower round the pool, you can't use shampoo or products. First time in 20 years of travelling to Greece we have experienced this. Anyway,got through it. Enjoyed our stay here, thank you.

We are nearly at the end of our 11 night stay here. The staff are so warm and friendly, the hotel is so clean and wonderful food and drinks Our apar**ent is dated but exceptionally clean. There are plenty of sunbeds, throughout the day, there are 5 of us and never had any problems getting one The beach is a 5-10 minute walk, a steep short hill coming back up. Again plenty of sun beds at the beach, if you buy a drink at the restaurants down there, the beds tend to be free Lovely restaurants to choose from Overall, an incredible location, and beautiful hotel, one of the best holidays we have had and don’t want to leave! Would highly recommend you booking this hotel .
