"The environment is good, so clean, the location of the smart home is not too difficult, but the communication information needs to be updated because the phone and email are sent, and there is no active sending method to check in. You have to go through the trip.com intermediary to get the email on the way to the house. All other environmental spaces are good."
"The hotel is located on a remote mountain, more than ten minutes from the center. The rooms are a bit far away, but fortunately they are clean and hygienic, and the space is very sufficient. The most special thing is that you can use the small cable car to go up to the hot spring area. What is surprising is that the hot spring area has a very good environment and scenery. Beautiful, the spring water is very comfortable"
"I have been to Karuizawa many times, and this trip in late autumn and early winter was very impressive. We booked a trip on a whim, which made our trip feel so wonderful😊
Karuizawa Hoshinoya Hotel is worth staying in. The one-to-one butler went to the room to explain the various services of the hotel in detail, and the experience was particularly comfortable.
The hotel is very large, with different types of rooms scattered on the mountain. There is a small stream crossing the mountain and running to the distance. The sound of running water is like beautiful music surrounding the ears. The water wave room is right by the stream and is also the most expensive room. The lobby is connected to the restaurant, with spacious and high-ceilinged large glass. When eating breakfast, looking at the autumn scenery outside the window, it is really worth it! There is a small bar, next to which is a row of lazy sofas, coffee, various Japanese teas, and snacks are available at will. Champagne has a time period in the afternoon, and guests staying in the hotel can also enjoy it at will. The details are really comfortable. There are two hot springs in Hoshino Hotel. The Hoshino Hot Spring is relatively large and famous in Karuizawa. It is open to the public at the hotel entrance (free for hotel guests). There is a smaller hot spring inside the hotel. Hotel guests can go there at any time by pressing the password. I went there to experience it. There were few people and the feeling of comfort was beyond words.
The scenery of Hoshinoya Karuizawa Hotel is really beautiful. It is so beautiful. There is a view at every step. The air is very fresh. I really want to be drunk in the autumn scenery and don't want to wake up. This is a hotel I still want to stay in if I have the chance.
Finally, I still want to say that the world is worth it~"

"The best hotel on this trip! Although not cheap, Karuizawa was also expensive, so it was really good value for money!
The room is large and the facilities are complete! I want to refer to this decoration at home!
The hotel place is also very good, not far from the station, take a taxi for 3 minutes, walk for 15 minutes. It is not difficult to push the box."
"Hotel is very clean and not too far away from train station. Simple breakfast is provided. The staff not only cleans the table but also wipe the seat after a guest leaves. Of course, a different cloth is used to wipe the table and chair."
"Beautiful environment, very clean and comfortable, complete kitchen facilities, outdoor barbecue equipment, complete tableware! It’s a pity to stay for one night. Our family decided to stay here next time we go to Karuizawa!"
"The hotel is located at the foot of a relatively secluded mountain. It is about a fifteen-minute drive from the business district and various attractions. If you are not driving by yourself, the transportation will be very inconvenient. As for the hotel itself, the service attitude, accommodation environment and sanitary conditions are very good. We are traveling as a family of five. The two adults each sleep on a 1.2 single bed, and there are three small Japanese-style tatami mats (a place for drinking tea and chatting during the day, and one person can open the bed at night). It is not crowded at all. We recommend the hotel's one-night-and-two-meals package. The meals are relatively rich and the ingredients are freshly produced in the season. It is a very cost-effective and old-fashioned Japanese star hotel in Niizawa."
"The villa is in a very quiet villa group, and the air is very good. From Karuizawa Station, you can take the bus to Yukawa, and it takes less than 10 minutes to get off the bus. Or take the Nakakaruizawa one stop to Nakakaruizawa, and then walk for 17 minutes. This path is not recommended at night because it passes through an unlit alley and a cemetery. The hotel is almost entirely self-service, and you fold the mattresses and quilts yourself. Each room has a bathroom. When taking a bath, it is a public bathhouse. It is not possible for two people to wash together in the bathhouse. It is a bit crowded for three people. The hotel's nearest convenience store is a 10-minute walk away. The 711 here is open from 6 am to 11 pm. The Stone Church is 7 minutes away from the convenience store. The price/performance ratio is pretty good. Bicycles can be rented at the entrance of the hotel. Please confirm with the front desk for details."

Amazing
NNC8891The hotel is located quite far from Karuizawa JR station. There is a pickup bus service every half an hour outside the south exit of the station.
However the bus is very small and can be quite full at times, causing people to rush onto the bus. It would be better if the hotel could set up a better queue-up system or adjust the frequency of the pickup bus service.
By the way you can deposit luggage at the customer centre next to the pickup bus stop and have them transferred to the hotel for you. I thought the hotel did not advertise the service enough as it is very useful and effective in creating more passenger space in the pickup bus.
Breakfast at the hotel is not buffet style, so went to the Prince Karuizawa West hotel to have breakfast instead.
During non-peak hours the hotel offers individual transportation for free so that is definitely a plus.
The Momiji hot spring is definitely a must-visit. Clean, modern, hygienic, exactly what I look for in a hot spring.
Overall service is excellent.
PPeter grand papa LiuLast year I was staying at the Prince hotel at Karuizawa for a wedding party! This time we spent just one night mainly for outlet shopping! We were surprised and excited when we started to enjoy the free dinner 8 course of Spanish cuisine! Every dish was so good, taste, yummy and delicious! Not only that right after dinner there was a free flow drink in the other section with all kinds of wine and Japanese whiskey too! We were more than satisfied and happy to stay in your hotel! For sure in my next visit I would stay at your hotel again
GGuest UserDefinitely the best hotel in Karuizawa! Exceptional service and beautiful accommodations that have made our experience truly memorable! The professional and caring nature of your staff has been remarkable, ensuring that every aspect of our stay feels personalized and welcoming.
The hotel's design and upkeep are also commendable. The elegant decor and well-maintained facilities have set a perfect backdrop for our romantic getaway, enhancing our overall enjoyment and comfort.
GGuest UserLocation is great, free shuttle bus between station and hotel. Also easy to get to the outlet. Breakfast is highly recommended, can choose between Japanese and western one, both are delicious. Nearby is the ski park, can enjoy whole day skiing there. Onsen is great after whole day exercise, quickly relieve tiredness. Highly recommended!!
GGuest UserThis is a low-key luxury hotel, 10 minutes away from Karuizawa JR Station by hotel shuttle bus, and a taxi cost 1,300 yen, about 65 yuan. I chose it because the hotel has a history and is also the favorite holiday of the Beatles lead singer Lennon. British service is everywhere. The breakfast is very delicious, and the outdoor scene is even more first-class! I like this hotel very much, full of details, and I will choose it again in the future.
GGuest UserLocated within 5 min from Karuizawa station, it has a huge Family Mart right opposite. The walk towards old ginza street took about 15-20min but was very comfortable given the cool weather, you would also be able find small hidden eateries along the way. Lobby came with an amenities bar, this hotel also interestingly houses a library on the second floor. The room I booked has an excessively huge bathroom and did not come with a writing desk. However, the room and stay was very, very comfortable and would definitely recommend it to any travellers to Karuizawa.
FFannyWe stayed in the cottage D, very old facilities, it’s a nice place but they should consider change their all appliances in the room, cos too old already. It’s very inconvenient that they don’t have a shuttle from cottage to lobby, we need to call them everytime we go out instead. The ski place was all man made snow, we were disappointed. We thought want to let the kids experience snow..
GGuest UserStunning most beautiful time here ! Staff were great help & friendly . Shuttle service on time . Gorgeous rooms & comfortable bedding & absolutely clean . Wonderful experience.
FF43Room is spacious with mini pantry and cooking facilities. But the renovation is a bit old-fashioned. Some renovation may be needed. Overall environment and facilities are quite impressive based on what I paid.
GGuest UserI initially planned to book a two-night stay but was hesitant due to mixed reviews about the hotel. Instead, I opted to book for one night to see if it met my expectations, intending to decide later whether to extend my stay.
After dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, I made up my mind and chose to extend for an additional night.
The reception staff spoke good English, making the check-in process smooth. The set dinner and breakfast were delicious, with the restaurant staff being polite and attentive. I must commend the chef for the effort in creating varied menus for both dinner and breakfast each day of our stay.
The onsen was quiet and peaceful during my visit around 5 PM.
The room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable; however, the lighting was too dim for my preference.
The only downside of my stay was the weak Wi-Fi signal, not just in the room but throughout most areas of the hotel.
