"This was my first stay here, and the only real issue was that the location is a bit far from the station. The staff were very kind. The only other minor thing was that some fellow guests were a little noisy, but nothing too bothersome. As I'm sensitive to smells, I really appreciated the air purifier and the coin laundry. The complimentary coffee and donuts in the morning were delicious. I'd like to try the cafe on the first floor next time. While some reviews have lower ratings, I think it really depends on the staff and guests present at the time."

"The rooms was OK. But the noise coming from other floor or outside the door is annoying. Some travellers are just not considerate. Even in the midnight they can just walk like a T-Rex. When they carrying luggage and dropped it at 4am. And they making noise without hesitate. Other than that this hotel is good to stay. 9 mins walk to metro station. 3 mins to bus stop. 3 mind to convenient stall."

Set in Tokyo's Toshima Ward, The underz suite residence Ikebukuro is positioned to meet the needs of those traveling for fun or business.
"I stayed on the first floor for 4 nights, and it was absolutely worth the money. One of the best things about this place is how convenient it is to get here — you can take the airport limousine bus directly to the Sunshine Prince Hotel, then simply cross the street and walk for about 2 minutes to reach the accommodation.
The room was very clean and surprisingly spacious compared to other hotel rooms in the same price range in Tokyo. It also comes with a kitchen and a large bathroom, which made my stay even more comfortable.
Please note that there is no elevator. I would not recommend booking a higher floor if you have heavy luggage, as you will need to carry it upstairs yourself. Staying on the first floor was very convenient for me.
Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Tokyo."

"The location is easy to find, about a 10-minute walk to Ueno. There's a convenient Lawson right outside the door if you turn right. However, other guests are very noisy when they return late at night, constantly packing their luggage. The sound of suitcases and items being dropped is really loud. Even though the guesthouse clearly states quiet hours from 10 PM to 8 AM, some guests are inconsiderate. The noise starts as early as 4-5 AM, which is unacceptable. Friends, please take this into consideration if you're thinking of staying here. It's an all-female floor. Also, there's no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up to the second floor yourself – another point to consider. Slippers and towels cost 100 yen."

"I stayed for a few days and felt very comfortable; this hostel is pretty great overall. They have a buffet, so food is very convenient. The staff are all very friendly and patient when you have questions. Downstairs, there's a coffee shop and a water dispenser, which makes daily life very easy. The room was clean and tidy, and didn't feel cramped at all. I stayed in a six-person room, but there were only four of us, so there was plenty of space. The window faced the street, and the view was decent. Overall, it was a very reassuring stay."

"From the tram station, we walked through a quiet residential area. It was not too far, but Google navigation was not very accurate. It was a house with local characteristics and affordable. Because it was a wooden house, the sound insulation was not very good, but everyone was relatively quiet at night."
