The hotel in general is really nice and good! It’s very close to the central station which offers good connections. The Pool has an amazing view (and also the rooms -see pic) and the rooms are pretty clean and big. However, a very disappointing experience were the elevators. It takes a really long time until the elevators arrive and then they stop so often since there are 53 floors. There is no air conditioning in the elevators which makes it even worse when being stuck with a lot of other people. It literally took me 10 minutes to get down to the reception sometimes (I had a room in the 50th floor). And to reach the pool you need to use the elevators too. Personally, I found it very exhausting and annoying to wait so long for the elevators, especially with the heat.

Service okay only night .. reception play Indian song go loud 🙃🙃.

I stayed for 2 nights with my wife and two toddlers, and we had a wonderful experience. We got a free room upgrade, and the room was very clean and felt new, with complete amenities. For Muslim travelers, I highly recommend this hotel as most of the staff are Muslim and warmly greet you every time you meet them. The location is also great — you’ll find a 24-hour Nasi Mamak restaurant nearby, along with local fruit stalls, small eateries, minimarkets, and a self-service laundry, all of which make the trip more convenient and enjoyable. The hotel is very close to public transport, just a few steps from KL Sentral and directly connected to NU Sentral Mall, as it is located right under the monorail station.
One thing that could be improved is the soundproofing, as noise from neighboring rooms can be heard. However, this wasn’t a big issue for us since we only used the hotel for resting at night.

The location is the only pro that you choose to stay in this hotel. The room smell so bad like they never do the air-conditioner cleaning ever. The hotel room itself is very out of date, renovation needed. Only shower gel and shampoo provided. No hair dryer. Around the hotel is Little India street.

Stayed here recently and it was awesome! The location is perfect—so many great restaurants around, and public transport is super close, which made getting around really easy. Plus, the view from my room was amazing. Definitely recommend this spot if you want somewhere central and with a nice view!

We stayed for 2 nights, asked for extra pillow and the lady receptionist said she will do best to arrange later, but never come until I fallen asleep. The next day the guy in reception said no more pillow for us because all the rooms fully occupied. It's My first time in my entire stayings in a hotel, not enough pillow. Can u believe that? 😂

YYee HanI enjoy the amenities so much, especially the great view from the gym and swimming pool! The room is nice and spacious, and its location is just 5 mins away from those popular shopping malls nearby. In terms of public transportation, it is easy to walk to the LRT station using the pedestrian bridge connecting the building to the station.

NNattinee JI booked a room for 3. It's quite small, especially the bathroom. The towel rack is way too high I couldn't reach it..but it's quite high in other hotels, too. Maybe it's like this in Malaysia...
You can choose a set breakfast, it says that the value of breakfast is 5MYR. For my breakfast it's 2 eggs and tea. that's it. So don't expect much.
Anyway location is good, just opposite NU Sentral. I can walk to KL Sentral station easily. I'm satisfied with the hotel overall.

GGuest UserThis is the 3rd time I stayed in The Riv KL Sentral for my business trips. This is the 1st time I stayed in the unit under the Upper operator. I seldom make complaints but I need to do it for this round
1. There's not a single hook provided in both bathroom n toilet, I'm not sure what type of concept is this.
2. The only place to hang my clothes is the shower knob, but the shower head is leaking, I guess the O-ring was not installed, hence my clothes were wet, that's so disappointing
3. I need to charge all my gadgets on the floor, since no cabinet provided near the wall sockets. Mirror without wall socket, and wall socket without mirror, how to use the hair dryer with mirror?
4. We took a twin bed room for 2 person, but they Provided 1 chair only, Genius.
5. Towels had a strong strange smell, might be the bleach smell. Pls check with your cleaning vendor.
Really a bad experience with Upper, too bad I can't upload a video.

During the day, the panorama offered a picturesque scene, but it was during the night that the magic truly unfolded. The city lights created a mesmerizing spectacle, turning the view into a dynamic and vibrant display.
Cash Deposit Notice:
One thing to note is that the hotel requires a cash deposit upon check-in to cover potential incidental expenses. While this was mentioned in advance, I appreciated the transparency and openness about the policy. It's always helpful for guests to be aware of any additional financial requirements before arriving at the hotel.
To make the check-in process even smoother, I would recommend future guests prepare the required cash amount in advance. This way, you can avoid any last-minute inconveniences and start your stay on a positive note.

The pool, business room, and gym were all excellent and very well-maintained.
The room had a beautiful view, which added to the experience.
The only downside was the elevator — it was quite slow, which was a bit annoying at times.
Additionally, during the room inspection the day before check-out, the staff opened the cabinet and checked the pillows, which felt inappropriate and invasive.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I’d consider coming back in the future, but I hope the hotel addresses these issues.

We loved cooking in the fully equipped kitchen, and the comfy beds made it hard to leave in the morning. The city views from the big windows were absolutely stunning—perfect for our morning coffee! Plus, being so close to transport and shopping made our adventures in KL so much easier. We had a blast and can’t wait to return!

GGuest UserFirst, the location (region) and hotel name are different. 2 km away. After seeing the details, I booked the Central Station area, which is actually in Chinatown. And, confusingly, because the hotel at the time of booking actually existed. When I went to the hotel I booked, the staff called me with a familiar hand. The name of the hotel is OYO 330 Zhongyi Hotel.
The price of the hotel itself is good.
