Four Points Hotels in Kunming

This hotel is located right in the city center, with a lively pedestrian street and plenty of great food options downstairs. The halal beef pancakes right outside are delicious and always have a long queue! If you turn right out of the hotel and pass Nanning Street, you'll reach Shuncheng Shopping Mall, which boasts numerous restaurants. The Wuyi Road metro station is also right next to it. You can easily walk to Cuihu Park and several other pedestrian streets from the hotel, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The hotel breakfast offers a wide variety of dishes, including local Yunnan specialties like Er'si and rice noodles. The hotel maintains the high standards of Sheraton (Marriott), and the room facilities are excellent. The lovely front desk staff even upgraded my room and gave me a fruit platter. My room on the 28th floor offered expansive city views. For transportation to Kunming Station, if you're in a hurry, I'd recommend a taxi as there might not be a direct metro line due to the complex underground structure of the old city. One suggestion I have is to place ashtrays (or poles) outside the entrance. This would prevent guests who step out to smoke from a non-smoking hotel from littering cigarette butts.

The hotel facilities are complete, clean, and hygienic. The front desk service is professional, meticulous, and patiently explained everything. The room is comfortable. Every service detail in the hotel reflects the staff's thoughtfulness towards guests, making every guest feel the warmth of home. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to MixC. It's a 10-minute walk to Donghua Farmers Market, and not far from the old town. Next time I go to Kunming, I'll definitely stay at Four Points by Sheraton again.

I mentioned wanting to try a suite next time, and Eric Chen Linhao offered to take some photos for me so I could book it directly if I liked what I saw. He then pulled out his phone and scrolled through his album, explaining which floors had better views and which orientations were quieter. The front desk at Four Points by Sheraton Chenggong isn't about upselling; they're all about making sure you have the most comfortable stay possible.

My overall experience during this stay exceeded expectations, and I really have to commend the front desk staff, Raven. I arrived at the hotel feeling a bit tired with my luggage, but Raven was incredibly warm and friendly throughout, always with a gentle smile that instantly put me at ease. The check-in process was handled skillfully and efficiently, showing great professionalism, and I was registered very quickly. She also proactively and thoroughly informed me about breakfast times, elevator locations, and nearby places to eat and visit. She patiently answered every question I had without any perfunctoriness. The room was clean and quiet, and the facilities were in good condition. Coupled with Raven's thoughtful and attentive service, the overall comfort of my trip was significantly enhanced. It offers great value for money, and I will definitely choose this hotel first next time I'm in the area. I highly recommend it to everyone.
