We stayed at Takasago with an open-air bath. There are tatami mats in both the living room and the bedroom, and it is calm. The flower stain was very beautiful as soon as I entered the room. The open-air bath in the room is a view of the Japanese garden. The garden is not very large, so there is not much open feeling. The hot water is only Kusatsu Onsen hot spring with history, and the body is hit. In the rental bath, I took a bath called HIKARI. I didn't think it was very pleasant in the space with a sense of obstruction. There was a towel that others had attached to the bath, a considerable dirt remained at the boundary between the bathtub and the floor, and the sweetness of the cleaning was caught. The meal was served in a private room in the restaurant. It was a Japanese food with local ingredients, and there was a seasonal feeling and I enjoyed it. The staff from Taiwan who took charge was hard and friendly. As an inn to pay more than 1 00000 yen for 2 people, the space and the meal were bad, but the check-out at 11 o'clock feels hurried. Also, after checking out, I tried to explore Kusatsu city and asked the staff to stop the car, but at first I was refused and I was forced to accept it for an hour. There were no other guests parking, and I went to the front desk to thank you an hour later, and there was no one. In other words, I felt that the response was automatically made according to the rules, not the response to the guests on the spot. It is said that it is a luxury inn in the hard side, but it was understood in this word that the contents were the same as the hot spring inn of the general large box.

I stayed on a solo trip. About 10 minutes walk from Yubatake. The surrounding area is a quiet place with private people lined up. I think there is Lawson in a few minutes walk and it is convenient to finish the meal easily. It seems that tourists cannot use the nearby public bath because there was a poster that was available only to the surrounding citizens, probably because of corona measures. (Mr. Akinoyu) Check-in is easy on the tablet at the entrance at an unmanned inn. It's easy if you're used to the internet. Also, if you send an email from the other party and enter the necessary information there, you can check in smoothly. I used a single room, but it was a tatami room with a wide 々 and I felt nostalgic. The combination of kotatsu and oil stove was the best. The toilet is shared and there is no shower in the room, but there are many hot springs nearby, so there is no problem. It is helpful to have towels. I would like to use it if I have another chance.

This B&B is called ”Goroji” in Japanese. I was misled by the transliterated pattern, and it took me a while to find it. The room is clean. Picture 3 shows its own bathhouse and shared bathroom facilities. Not bad😁

In terms of transport: The hotel is not close to Kusatsu Yutian. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the Kusatsu Hot Spring Bus Terminal to the hotel. I don't think it is far away. But it is actually going uphill and then downhill before going uphill to the hotel. It is recommended that other guests go to the hotel to take a taxi to the hotel, do not trust google map. Hotels: The hotel has 3 floors and feels like a relatively large homestay. It should be noted that the hotel does not have a lift, and large luggage friends should pay attention. The hotel staff can communicate in simple English. I checked in the same day as a male owner. He helped carry the luggage upstairs, but he had to move it himself when he checked out. I have one berth and two meals, dinner and breakfast are delicious, rich and delicious. Breakfast can be selected for foreign food or Japanese food. Dinner does not include dinner wine and you have to add extra money. But there was a little episode at dinner, I didn’t even respond to the order of wine twice, and then I had to order the Kusatsu beer with the female owner when I was serving, but I didn’t serve it until I finished the meal, and I left and asked the hostess. She asked the elderly female employee to answer me that the genius has goods, you can take them back tomorrow! Super dumbfounded at the time! If there is no goods, you can tell me that you can cancel, but don't help the guests decide without authorization. Then I told the elderly employee to cancel. I don't know if they will cancel, I thought it was no difference, and I could bring it back to make a handwritten letter the next day! I don't know if I haven't received the wine when I check out. Not only did I not cancel it, but I also charged me more for the price of my drink. I explained the situation with the male shopkeeper in Japanese, and of course there is a refund. But the overall feeling is not very good, the female owner's service is not good, resulting in overcharge of the customer. The price is high, but the service is really improving. Will not consider staying again, anyway, their target guests are locals. Would rather be better than more expensive hotels near Tangtian.
