Luggage scale also provided at the lobby. Hotel parking just opposite to the hotel building and recommend to note with the hotel in advance. Nice stay in Kyoto!

Don't know why but I fell in love with this hotel. Modern, clean, always with good music and smell, well furnished with wood, concrete, and plants, with a lovely bakery at the entrance, and a fantastic restaurant serving a delicious and abundant breakfast. The room was very well modernly furnished. They offer you many experiences, and even an electric bike to visit Kyoto (that I really enjoyed). The staff was very friendly, even if sometimes it was struggling to talk due to poor English knowledge. It is very close to Higashiyama and Gion, which you can reach by walking 15-20'. The rooftop bar serves excellent cocktails. Additionally, the price is low for the service and the quality offered! FANTASTIC!

A magnificent house in classic Japanese style, 5 minutes walk from the Clean Water Temple. Spacious rooms, 2 toilets, kitchen, cozy living room, its small onsen and even a tiny own interior courtyard. Very simple and convenient check-in/checkout. Excellent wifi. Near 2 supermarket. Unfortunately there is no laundry machine, but there is a laundry next door. The house is very clean and warm. The whole family liked the house very much. The kids said it reminded them of the house from the cartoon ”My neighbor Totoro.” Very recommended!

This homestay is really amazing! The landlord is a handsome little brother, who is super nice, and he made a personalized itinerary for us and booked a taxi for us. Before leaving, I also gave away snack packages for my daughter Frozen and Anpanman. I carelessly left the things I bought in Kyoto in my room, and my younger brother immediately sent it to my hotel in Tokyo when he found it. The location of the house is very good. Needless to say, it’s super clean. Upstairs and downstairs can be up to four large and one small. The scenic spots of the ancient capital are all within walking distance. There are many convenience stores and restaurants around, which is very convenient.

Wonderful & decent hotel if you're willing to walk a bit. The closest bus stop is 5 minutes away, but if you want to go to the shopping street at Kawaramachi Station, it's 10 minutes. It's not far at all, typing it out like this, but going back to the hotel after a long day might be a little frustrating if you don't know your way around the bus/metro lines. On the positive side, which in my opinion outweighs the con by far, it's close to Sannenzaka and is in a quiet area. The room is quiet, clean, and has everything you need. Compared to other hotels we've stayed in (in this price range), it was also quite spacious. The staff was pleasant and helpful; they were really friendly and did their best. I would recommend this hotel for the above reasons! We didn't mind walking, so it was great and added to our stay.

If you come by car, you have to park in a nearby parking lot, so parking is not free because it is not affiliated with the hotel, but the hotel's location, rooms, cleanliness, etc. are perfect. The location is very good, you can go to Kiyomizu Temple in the morning. I didn't watch the Gion Festival in summer but I saw the selection of the Gion Festival. The front desk India was very good with the staff. Breakfast is eaten in time and the flow of people is very good. There is a happy hour for dinner, a small cup of optional wine. Happy we found this hidden gem! The location was excellent as it was close to everything. The room was small but a little bigger than others. The staff was very nice and helpful, from front desk staff to housekeeping. Takanori and other staff recommended excellent restaurants close by for dinner: a ramen restaurant and yakatori restaurant. For breakfast, due to many early morning starts we were only able to enjoy one morning of breakfast in the restaurant area located on the first floor. Breakfast consisted of a bread roll, scrambled eggs, sausages, small amount of salad and fruit. Tea and coffee were offered as well.

The access was outstanding and new, so it was comfortable in a small room. Breakfast is also good and Shijo Kawaramachi is also a walking area when you follow the river edge of the inn. The room is fine, but the service is the worst service experience in Japan! At about 3:30, I arrived at the check-in counter. The waiter actually pointed to the wrong house. I took a taxi and hit more than 200 RMB. The door opened without opening the door. I contacted the hotel staff for international roaming. The front desk did not speak English. After a long time, I said that I would call it. I didn't respond for 20 minutes. I still can't speak English when I hit it. I can't help but find a passerby (Japanese) to answer the phone and know that they have made a wrong house address! Forty minutes later, the hotel staff took a taxi to pick us up. We also had a 3-year-old child when it rained that day, and fell asleep before we even went to the room. I really want to swear. After taking it to the room, I can check out the next day for an hour. The next day I don’t know how to clean the house, and I can’t speak English. Awful

First of all, the owner was very kind! I arrived before check-in time, and they left my luggage for me and gave me a tourist brochure. Also, yukatas were provided in the room, and the blankets were soft and warm! There was a bit of a draft, but it got hot right away when I turned on the heating. The bath was quite spacious, warm and nice. Hair dryer, toner, lotion, comb, cotton swab, etc. were all provided👍Instead, it was provided on the first floor where the bathtub is, so it was inconvenient to have to go down the stairs to use it, but it didn't matter since I was going to use it after washing anyway. I really recommend breakfast too! They let me decide when I would eat breakfast when I checked in, and when that time came, they woke me up by phone. It was great to have the experience of eating breakfast while wearing a yukata haha. If I visit Kyoto again, I definitely want to come back!
