On my second business trip to Bangladesh, I found this Holiday Inn, run by Chinese people, on Ctrip. The warm and attentive hospitality of the owners instantly touched me. It made me feel at home in a foreign land, a definite thumbs up! [Strong][Strong] When traveling/working in Bangladesh, the biggest worry is the hassle of transportation, meals, and laundry. The Holiday Inn solved all these problems, providing a fantastic experience! 1. Free airport shuttle, peace of mind upon arrival. No need to worry about finding a car or haggling. The hotel owner personally waited for me at the airport on time and took me directly to the hotel. Being so close to the airport, the initial anxiety of arriving in a foreign country instantly disappeared, giving me a huge sense of security. 2. All-inclusive Chinese meals, a perfect treat for my Chinese stomach. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all authentic Chinese food, with rice, noodles, hot dishes, fruits, and soups all included. The food was authentic, clean, and hygienic. No need to worry about what to eat or whether I'd like the local food; I could enjoy the taste of home every day, feeling incredibly happy. 3. Free laundry service for a super fresh travel experience. Making laundry incredibly convenient for business trips and travel is a breeze. The hotel offers free laundry service, ensuring your clothes stay clean and tidy without the hassle of hand washing or finding a dry cleaner. Even though called and checked the front days said it was complementary but on my 2nd day during breakfast all of a sudden another front desk person said it’s not included so for one day I had to pay about 60 AUD. If it was clear I would not have had breakfast there. Poor communication and service

GGuest UserGrand Palace Hotel in Dhaka was an amazing experience from the first minute until the last minute. The staff are extremely professional and personable, the food is exquisite, my room was very comfortable was delightful amenities which even included the daily morning newspaper (in English) which I really appreciated. The lobby is large with place of private spaces to share with friends or colleagues. There's also a nice pool on the rooftop, and a nice gym. You will definitely feel pure luxury when you stay here. I could t imagine going to Dhaka and staying anywhere else.

The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the modern amenities you’d expect — including a comfortable bed, clean linens, and a reliable Wi-Fi connection. The bathroom was also well-maintained and stocked with essentials.
One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet — it offered a good mix of local and continental options, and the food quality was above average. Room service was prompt, and the in-house restaurant served delicious meals.
However, a few areas could be improved. The check-in process was a bit slower than expected, and the lobby sometimes felt understaffed during peak hours. A little more attention to detail in room facilities like at least a window for air circulation would elevate the overall experience.
That said, The Zabeer Dhaka is a great option if you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and value in the heart of the city. I would consider staying here again.

PPrakash MunuswamyThis is not hotel and it's just a hostel for the Chinese travellers. It will not suit for any business travellers from other countries. This facility doesnt have toilets. There's only one toilet for 5 rooms. it's a shared toilet and it was shocking for the amount they charged. Even a kitchen has been converted in to a room. only advantage is that it's nearby to the airport. gates of this apartment will get closed by 10pm. lifts will be switched of by 10 pm. Rooms are in the 8th floor. Then imagine what happens if the lifts are switched off and especially you are carrying the heavy luggages. Moreover they dont have a card swiping machine and you need to make the payment through local currency. if you are budget traveller who dont need any amenities then you can go for it. Otherwise staying at this place will give you lots of frustrations. Actual rooms are completely different from the pictures shared on trip.com. Breakfast starts by 8 am and if you have to start early this place will not work again. Even towels are not provided. just a couple of hand towels were provided. I will not suggest this hotel for any business travellers or for families.

GGuest UserReception was helpful in finding exactly the type of room I wanted. Good mattress and I slept well for the 4 nights I was there. The staff in general are professional and very willing to help and provide advice. Very safe, quiet area with a good Food Court nearby for quick meals and fun to walk the streets at night soaking up the vibe. The restaurant at the Bengal Blueberry is good but variety is limited. Gym is OK, nice coffee shop with Metu who is very helpful. Great to have UniMart supermarket next door. Easy to get rickshaws from the hotel as well as taxis. I'd stay there again.

The food at Priyo Nibash was another highlight. Their restaurant served delicious dishes that tasted homely and fresh. Whether it was breakfast or dinner, the food was flavorful and well-prepared. I really appreciated the variety and the fast service, even during busy hours.
Overall, the service at Priyo Nibash Hotel stood out the most. Every staff member—from reception to room service—was polite, attentive, and professional. They made sure guests were comfortable and satisfied at all times.

The mattress felt old and uncomfortable, and the bedding caused itching. The curtains were also quite dusty. GGuest UserAbsolutely tops in terms of service/ helpfulness! Hotel manager snd staff sorted out a complicated issue involving our booking and refused to take or ask for any money from us over the 5 days we stayed - even upgrading us to a suite for the final two nights when one became available.
Staff speak English - and are helpful in providing Information about getting around, arranging transportation and laundry. A lovely rooftop cafe - a green oasis- and Taste Snacks. A Full Range of Bengali dishes as well as western food is also avsilable. And all this for less than 50CAD - very good value!
The hotel is located near the Old City- easily accessible by taxi, tuktuk or rickshaw- also BaileyRoad is within easy walking distance, a quieter tree lined street and New Bailey Road with Shopping Restaurants etc though these are also available in a buzzier context in the streets surrounding the hotel.
We would definitely recommend this hotel and Return again- Note the address at 873 Outer Circular Road( not the one on listing we saw/ booked located several hundred meters away, at 12 Outer Circular Road. The hotels are not linked, whatever you are told by the latter. And actual Grand Circle Inn at 873 is of higher standard/ quality…
