I had a grand time during my stay at Ascott Dongguan. It gives you a feel of being at home. This is the first time in my travel history that I slept well at night. The room and bathroom are clean and the staffs are all very helpful, special mention WILL He really went out of his way to help me and assist me in all my needs specially in booking rides going to my business meetings. He even checked if I need to book return rides because he knows I do not speak Chinese and for a foreigner, communication with taxi drivers are very challenging. Even it is a bit far from the central business district, the peaceifulness and safety of the area compensated that. I will definitely stay again at Ascott.

An absolutely perfect experience that far exceeded my expectations. Five-star recommendation! I came to the hotel solo for some serious gaming. I was so satisfied with my first night that I decided to extend my stay for a second day. Absolutely no issues with the internet speed. The room was spacious and bright, and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. The shower in the bathroom had fantastic water pressure, absolutely no complaints there. The room also featured floor-to-ceiling windows. There's a convenience store right downstairs. The hotel even has robots, which made getting takeout incredibly convenient. The front desk and housekeeping staff were polite and patiently resolved any issues. Check-in was also very quick. An impeccable stay experience; the environment, hygiene, and service all demonstrated exceptional care and thoughtfulness. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

It's my first time staying here. The environment and sanitation are very good. The waiters are very friendly. The weather has been bad these days, so I didn't go out for a walk. I exercised in the hotel gym. There is a laundry room opposite the gym. I washed and dried immediately, which is very convenient. The room is clean and hygienic, and there is free coffee, which is delicious. The hotel environment is very comfortable!

Unbelievable location. Adjacent to a large mall and the train station is 200 meters away. Not a “luxury” hotel. As a traveller’s hotel, it’s an excellent choice especially considering the price. The lighted toilet is a good feature so the bathroom main light doesn’t need to be turned on at night.

A standout feature was the separate toilet and bath, which added a touch of sophistication and convenience. The modern furnishings, high-quality bedding, and spacious layout made for a truly relaxing stay. Location The hotel is situated in one of Dongguan’s most vibrant districts, surrounded by bustling energy and endless entertainment options. Adjacent to the property is a massive shopping mall, providing guests with easy access to retail, dining, and leisure activities. Executive Lounge Experience Though located on a lower floor, the Executive Lounge is a true gem. The selection of delicacies was exceptional, with a variety of gourmet bites and premium beverages. What truly elevated the experience, however, was the warm and attentive service—special thanks to Steven and Freya, who went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. Dongguan Forum remains a favorite of mine when visiting South China. Hotel has been upgraded recently, is clean, very good service and in a great location to work and local restaurants. Breakfast and gym are both very good. When warmer, the pool is a great amenity.

Got an upgrade to the newly renovated rooms on this visit. The room is updated with contemporary design with a cyber color scheme. The lightning has improved a lot and with the new temperature control, it is no doubt a much more comfy room than before. However, I have noticed a few shortcomings in my stay. First of all, there is no towel rack for used bath towels, and contradictorily they promote the environment friendly of reusing the towels (sign posted as shown as attached). Secondly, changing cables are provided on both sides of the bed. But only the set on the left is working properly. Thirdly, bath robes are on request now, maybe it is the result of the new open closet. Lastly, those dispenser bottles are not working properly. The pump doesn't retract smoothly after being pressed. You simply need to pull the trigger back to get the next pump. After all, it was a pleasant stay with late check out, free bottles of water and self service laundry as usual.
