"This is a new hotel, so the decor and ambiance are great. The room even has a projector, and all the bedding is brand new! It's pretty close to the shopping street, and the price is good. The owner is also really nice and welcoming. Plus, there's a congee and noodle shop right across the street downstairs that's delicious!"

"Great location. Very near to Beijing Road and many retail shops and eateries. Only few minutes walking distance to Ximenkou station Exit C. Old hotel but clean, tidy rooms. Surprisingly quiet floor for my allocated room. Room has no unpleasant sewage smell. Kudo to the housekeeping team! Front office reception girls are all very helpful and pleasant. I requested 1 night earlier checkout due to the need to fly back to Singapore urgently. The front office reception girl assisted me without any hassle or questioning. I am impressed with their speedy approval and action in handling my request. Will definitely stay in this hotel again if return to Guangzhou in the near future."

"Our stay at CityNote has exceeded expectation. Service is very good. There are only 2 family room and 1 of them is larger. Hotel accomodated the request to change room when there is availability. Their room also came with some free movie that kept the kids entertained. Location is next to metro exit. 7-11, McD, subway is just downstair. Breakfast, afternoon tea & supper is included and variety is acceptable. Love their coffee, it’s rich, aromatic and served all day."

"Exceptional hospitality from Ah Mei and Xiao Pang (I hope I've spelled their names correctly), who were incredibly helpful and assisted me with my Taobao orders, returns and food deliveries. The accommodations themselves were excellent. Generously sized rooms, instant hot water, and wonderfully comfortable beds that were perfect after long days of exploring. Amenities included a small but well maintained gym, alongside washing machines and dryers that were popular with many guests so go early. The location is on a vibrant food street, with activity and dining options available from early morning until late at night."
