Really enjoyed my stay here! The room was clean, the A/C was super comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure and consistent temperature. I especially appreciated having hand soap – a must-have for my hand-washing obsession! It's also great that the hotel is non-smoking, which is a big plus for guests like me with sensitive airways. I loved the little corner table and high stools; it was perfect for enjoying a late-night snack while watching the street scene. Thank you for everything, you all work so hard!

The location is super convenient! It's really easy to get to Yizhong Street Night Market, Yimin Commercial District, and Chungyo Department Store. The 24-hour front desk service is a huge plus, and the staff are all incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. There's a 7-Eleven if you head left from the hotel, and a FamilyMart diagonally across the street. Every time I come to Taichung, I choose to stay here. Highly recommend it to everyone!

Super near to train station but must know how to walk. Do not follow Google map as it will bring you the long route. Assessible to night market, lalaport mall, weekend flea market at train station. The neighbourhood have alot of foreigners. Breakfast is good but a little oily and salty.

Stayed two nights in the budget double room and wished it was longer. Design of the room is very nice, being out most of the day, not having a window wasn’t noticeable.
Room and bathroom very clean. Bed is very comfortable. Towel, shower gel, shampoo, hair dryer, tv, kettle, tea, coffee, fridge and water refill all available.
Great location. 10 minute walk from food places, night market, shops etc. 20 minute walk to the bus stop for sun moon lake. 25 minute walk to Taichung train station, but lots of local bus options nearby.
Staff very friendly both in person and on Trip prior to arrival. Luggage storage also available.

The room was a nice size for a family of four and felt comfortable without being cramped. The bathroom was a highlight, with good water pressure and the option of both a standing shower and a bathtub, which was very convenient. The location is great — Yizhong Night Market is nearby, and there are many shops and eateries just downstairs, making it easy to get around and find food.
On the downside, the hotel does not provide free parking for some room bookings, which may be inconvenient for guests with a car. Basement carpark is shared with public and quite costly to park whole night.

Location: The area itself was fine, conveniently located near a train station and very close to a bus stop. However, most of our plans were centered around HSR Taichung Station, which was about a 30-minute drive away. I should’ve done more research beforehand, so that’s on me.
Cleanliness: The room and common areas were spotless and well maintained.
Service: The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay.
Facilities: The facilities were well kept and met everything we needed. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Stayed in the hotel for 3 nights, location is within 5mins walking distance to Family Mart, different eateries and bus-stops. It is also within 15mins walking distance to Yizhong Street. The only possible negative I can think about is that you will have to shower in the bath tub (there's no separate showering area outside of the tub), which may not be suitable for elderlies. Other than that, we really loved the relaxing ambience of the hotel. Would recommend.

This was my first time staying at Cloud Business Hotel, and as soon as I entered, I was struck by how spacious and bright it was. A big plus is that they offer parking spots on a first-come, first-served basis. I booked a triple room this time, and it was also very clean and bright. The double bed was really huge and super comfortable! The only drawback was a faint smell of renovation in the room, likely from ongoing work upstairs, but it was still within an acceptable range. I'd definitely consider staying at Cloud Business Hotel again next time I'm in Taichung.

KKel5655I stay in Taichung once a week, and if the price and room type are within budget, this is the only place I'll ever stay! The location, room design, and facilities are all excellent, and my wife and kids absolutely love it! Every time I stay in a different room type, I'm never disappointed. I really hope the garage rooms could also be around 1800. It's truly amazing, I give it a very high rating.

XXinluoyuanThe hotel lobby isn't big, but the service is warm and helpful. The room itself is small, but very clean. It's located near Taichung Railway Station, with plenty of restaurants around. Miyahara Eye Clinic is not far, and there are also malls and a Carrefour supermarket nearby, which is very convenient.

GGuest UserOverall, I was quite disappointed.
Right from check-in, the staff couldn't find my reservation, and they even asked for my surname in English, and the number and gender of guests, which was a bit odd.
I noticed a lot of things because I was waiting for my luggage in the lobby for a very long time. The seating area around the art installation in the lobby was dusty, especially the back rows, and the outdoor area was full of fallen leaves.
While I was busy with my child and family arranging crafts, my luggage had already been taken to the room. When I realized I needed my carry-on bag, the staff said they would retrieve it from the room for me (we hadn't even checked into the room yet). I had a carry-on with my child's daily essentials, and my child needed to use the restroom. So, we waited in the lobby for that bag for nearly 20 minutes.
Regarding the other facilities, the welcome tea was incredibly simple. The window in our room had large water stains on the glass (I initially thought it was fog). Below our room, there was an area with weeds and what looked like abandoned moss, which felt out of place. It seemed like the most effort the hotel put in was the gardening, and I couldn't understand why this particular area existed; it was a huge contrast.
Considering all meal costs are extra, it really didn't offer good value for money at all. The food, however, was very good, and the laundry service was a plus. All the staff members were friendly and welcoming.
If the room rates were lower, I might consider revisiting. But if the prices and facilities remain as they are, I won't be returning.

JJess BellamyVery elegant hotel with nice bed and bathroom. The pool was quite cold despite it being summer so it wasn’t very pleasant to swim in. The breakfast was good though it was the same food every day so if you’re staying for more than a few days you may want more variety.

GGuest UserCheck-in at 4 PM was a bit late, but the Taichung Park nearby was a nice bonus. It's within walking distance of the Yizhong Street Night Market. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. It's great that there's a hot and cold water dispenser in the hallway. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable, so I slept very well. I highly recommend this place.

OOtautahianI chose this hotel because it is a two-minute walk from Taichung station. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, including the famous ice cream place Miyahara. The laundry room has two washing machines and two dryers. I chose a windowless room, it was a great size for one person, and I couldn't hear my neighbours.

AAnonymous UserStayed here from 10 Apr to 14 Apr. It is about 10-15mins walk Taichung Railway station. The hotel is within the central district of Taichung (buildings are older here), but the hotel itself looks and feel relatively new and modern. It is conveniently located near lots of food options, and the Taichung Second Market and Miyahara is only about 5-10mins walk away.
The room is clean and spacious. It has a nice modern design too. The basic amenities such as shampoo, shower gel, lotion and hairdryer are provided. Can’t seem to find local channels on the TV but you can use apps like netflix and youtube.
The hotel also provides complimentary breakfast, tea time (if i recall correctly) and supper. The variety is acceptable given that this is not a big hotel. food is decent too. For breakfast there was a mini salad bar, porridge station, various steamed buns, toasts. For supper, there were braised minced meat rice and side dishes, soup, DIY noodle station, steamed buns, toasts, DIY beancurd station, some snacks/tidbits. There is also dessert with red/green bean soup, drinks and ice cream.
Just one minor hiccup - a false fire alarm was trigger at 4am on one of the nights which only affected the higher floors from 9th storey and above. The guests on our storey werent aware if the lift is working or if it is safe to use and we ended up climbing the stairs down, only to find out later that there was no real fire. The affected guests waited at the lounge for about 30mins as the alarm was still ringing. The firemen eventually came and turned off the alarm. The hotel did apologise for the inconvenience by pasting a notice in the lift and informed guests to reach out to them if there are any queries. It would be nice if the hotel can engage the affected guests more directly and possible provide some form of compensation as service recovery.
Nonetheless, still a pleasant stay overall!

Hotel Facilities: It's an older hotel, but my room had been renovated. The interior is definitely a complete contrast to its exterior.
Room: For the price, it's incredibly good value. The room was spacious enough whether I was staying alone, as a couple, or with my partner. The air conditioning, hot water, TV, and hairdryer all worked perfectly.
Breakfast: They ask you for your preferred dining time when you check in, but maybe because I was staying alone, it didn't really affect me, so I didn't need to specify. The variety of food was extensive, and they changed items daily. I don't understand why some reviews claimed that eating outside for 70-80 TWD would be better; an extra breakfast here only costs 50 TWD. Anyway, they had vegetables, congee, salad, fruit, eggs, bread, etc. For meat options, there was grilled chicken chop, kimchi pork belly, breakfast sausages, and ********* braised pork. The coffee was either from a well-known international brand or the hotel's specially selected freshly ground beans, which I thought was a nice touch. However, I found it a bit odd that you had to return your own trays – it is a hotel, after all.
Staff: The staff were very friendly and polite. Check-in was handled in both Chinese and English, and they thoroughly explained my room's features, inquired about my needs, and discussed cleaning arrangements. The only minor issue was that I requested a change of bedding on the third day at noon, after two nights, but it didn't happen. I assume the regular staff member for that floor was off, and the replacement didn't change them, as they just straightened my duvet and put the tip I left back on my pillow. Despite that, it didn't impact my stay at all, haha.

But they don't provide any toothpaste ans toothbrush, which was indicated in their front desk and before booking. I was a bit confused though because I thought the reservation includes breaksfast as stated in the site but when i arrived, i was informed that it wasn't included. But the staffs are kind and helped me booked a taxi going back to the airport at a wee hour. The room i stayed had a window, there's ref and closet with only 2 hangers. The only problem i had was the aircon which was centralized or controlled so when it is cold at night, it is hard to increase the temperature. I couldn't really sleep well.
