Hotels near Sha Tin District, Hong Kong

We specifically booked this hotel for my child's college entrance exam, and it was excellent in every aspect – facilities, cleanliness, environment, and service. The breakfast was incredibly rich and varied, and it was very convenient to catch a taxi right outside.

Family of 4, travelling with 2 young kids. Switched to this hotel at late notice following bad experience with another hotel in the area. Impressed from the moment we arrived. Welcomed in by the concierge, and bags removed from taxi for us and portered to our room without any issues. Hotel has an impressive and clean foyer, also nice lobby bar with large/massive screen showing sports. Check-in staff were helpful and spoke good English. Added breakfast on at the hotel, which was offered at half price (very much worth it). Rooms and common areas spotless. Pool and gym facilities excellent- located on top floor which adds to their charm. Housekeeping also impressive. Laundry room available as well. We ate breakfast there every morning. Good/excellent selection of western and Asian breakfast items. Ate at the Alva House evening buffet on our last evening. We initially thought a bit pricey, but actually the food on offer and the quality was very high, so the price probably justified. The rooftop also houses a highly reviewed sushi restaurant- we didn't eat there unfortunately, but it looked good. Location is decent enough. There's a 7/11 at the bottom of the hotel which is handy. The nearest MTRs are Shek Mun/City One, about 10mins walk. There are a lot of shops and restaurants near Shek Mun ranging from cheap eats to more expensive options. Overall an excellent hotel. We would happily visit again.

The lady who checked me in was a woman of few words, but very efficient. She upgraded our room and gave us a late check-out until 12 PM. The room was huge for Hong Kong standards! It was a family room that could easily fit four people. The hotel also provided disinfectant, which was a great touch! The location is excellent too, with several malls connected, making shopping super convenient!

The room was great, and we got an upgrade to a river view, which was a nice bonus. While it wasn't cheap, the convenience made up for it. Getting around was a breeze – the bus and MTR are just a few minutes' walk away. Shopping and dining were also super convenient with plenty of shops nearby, basically covering all our daily needs. Strolling along the riverbank next to the hotel was really pleasant too. We chose to stay here for our MacLehose Trail hike, and it was incredibly convenient! My only gripe is that I had planned to extend my stay, and they said they'd call me back, but they never did. So, I ended up switching to a different hotel. On a side note, I have to say, Hong Kong's environmental efforts are truly commendable! 👍

The best service I've ever experienced. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and the front desk staff speaks better English than me to boot. Rooms are great and come furnished with everything you need and more. The outlets are, I believe, British standards, but the room included adapters for USB charging and American standard. Our room had a pretty swank view that captured mountain, ocean, and cityscape in one frame Decent gym with maybe 10 treadmills, a small area for dumbbells, and enough machines to hit every major muscle group. Overall around the same caliber as a Planet Fitness.
