GGuest UserHygiene: Extremely clean, one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in! They also provide a lot of disposable toiletries and sanitizing products, offering everything you could think of and more, very thoughtful. Facilities: Projector, tea ceremony table, makeup mirror, bathtub, electric curtains. Environment: The decor is simple and looks very comfortable. The bed and pillows are also very comfortable. It's a 5-minute walk to the iconic gate, 7-8 minutes to the East Gate entrance turnstile, and a 16-minute walk to the Charming Xiangxi show theater. There are many delicious restaurants and several breakfast spots around the guesthouse, very convenient! Service: For this trip, I asked the owner to help book group tickets, which saved me a lot of money overall. The owner is very enthusiastic, not only helping to plan the itinerary but also almost instantly replying to any questions. Seeing that I was traveling alone and might feel unsafe, the owner even picked me up and dropped me off for the Charming Xiangxi show, which was very thoughtful. When I left, they also proactively helped me find a shared ride. They truly made my trip very comfortable and perfect, I'm so, so happy! 😁 I highly recommend this guesthouse! 👍🏻

DDaniel SheekhmetovFantastic stay with unbeatable service! We had an amazing time at Valley Love Holiday Home. The location is absolutely perfect, making it super easy to get around and explore. Beyond the great spot, the hotel just has really good vibes- it felt incredibly welcoming and comfortable the moment we walked in. What really stood out, though, was the service. The staff went above and beyond to help us figure out our itinerary around Zhangjiajie. Their local tips and hands-on assistance made navigating the area so much smoother and took a lot of stress off our shoulders. Highly recommend staying here.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel blew it out of the water for us. They made our trip to Zhangjiajie a million times better than it would have been if we had stayed elsewhere. It all started 2 months before our stay. Our hotel butler reached out to me via WeChat and answered all the questions we had about everything. I told our butler that we would be arriving at 9pm and she arranged for a vehicle to pick us up from the airport. The cost was 100 yuan which is a bit steeper than a Didi but I felt it was well worth it since the drive is more than 30 minutes and we were able to guarantee that all our luggages would fit. A week before our stay she reached out to us and asked if we needed to book tickets for tianmendong and for zhangjiajie forest. She booked both for us with the times we wanted and said we could pay her once we arrived. I double checked the prices and they were exactly the same as what we would have paid if we booked it ourselves. But with her help everything went very smoothly. The day before we arrived, the driver called me and confirmed that he would pick us up from the airport. The second our flight arrived, he called and confirmed that he was waiting at the gate. Once we came out, he was standing there with a sign with my name on it. It was all very cute and he parked somewhere convenient for us to get picked up. The drive over was smooth and efficient. Our butler also confirmed that she saved us afternoon tea and would have congee ready for us as well. Service was already excelling beyond control at this point. Once we arrived at the hotel, we checked in with her on the first floor and she gave us a quick rundown of the facilities and everything. When we arrived in our room, it was clean and the bed were nice and big. I also liked that they use Jo Loves for their toiletries. The afternoon tea and congee came up shortly after we walked in. Our room faced this courtyard that was beautiful. Felt like we were living in a fairytale. I liked that the blinds were automatic which was great. They also have a Xiao Du assistant that can help control blinds, temperature and the TV as well. Love the technology. My only complaint about this hotel is that it gets a bit hot at night. You need to have the aircon on and the window open in order to be at a decent temperature. Breakfast was another highlight. The chef who also takes away the dishes, is super friendly and so is the auntie who makes the noodles. He was so nice and even made tomato egg when we requested it. The bread etc. Wasn't that great BUT the Chinese dishes he made were all really good. Theres this pork rib dish he makes that is so good. For all 4 days that we stayed there, the food he made was different. Another great function they have was the robot delivery service. Yes they delivery food but also they have a QR code with products that they have available for free. For example you could order a feet soaking tub (great for long days) and you could also order face washing clothes, one time use underwear, rain jackets. Basically anything you could think of, they probably have. The afternoon tea and the congee is available everyday so keep that in mind for days you can't find any decent food outside. We noticed that they had traditional clothing available and so I asked the butler about it. All you need to do is book a timeslot with them and they have a photographer come in and take photos of you. The photographer in the end ended up taking 120 photos of the 3 of us. She was so professional. She edits around 5 for you and the rest are just raw which is great. Location wise, this hotel is perfect if you are visiting zhangjiajie forest. The south entrance is literally right there. Like 2 minute walk. It's literally right next to the south exit too. There's a KFC nearby which is great and also a Chagee. If you walk one street down there are tons of eateries. Overall: this hotel was amazing. Would definitely recommend.

GGuest Usereasily the best stay ever, from the location to the to the whole experience of the stay, from the friendly staffs who were so accommodating to our requests, to being greeted by their friendly companions (shoutout to wang wang and dudu, two super adorable dogs). 4 nights there was such a dream, the view of our room overlooking the mountain, to the whole ambience that foggy valley offers, seriously stunning. not forgetting their restaurant, the dishes offered are of a variety, and it tastes so homely! and the breakfast offered also serves a huge variety, you won’t get sick of it. overall, we made a superb decision to stay at foggy valley as our stay in ZJJ, after a full day of walking and climbing and touring ZJJ, this is the kind of stay you want to come back to ☺️

CChaya🇨🇳 Ho Perfect if you're entering via the East Gate! Beautiful rooms, amazing service. Keep this in mind for your trip! 📌 🛏️ 1. Exactly as pictured & Great value for money - The room is fantastic, very new, and spotlessly clean. I booked a room with a bathtub and got the 4th floor. It looked exactly like the photos. The price in late March was amazing—less than $30/night (getting a bathtub at this price is super worth it!). The furniture looks brand new. - The bathroom is great, with clearly separated wet and dry zones. It has a smart toilet with a heated seat and auto-flush! - Amenities are quite complete. However, the hotel provides disposable towels. If you have a larger build, they might not cover you completely (I'm petite, so it didn't bother me), but the material is highly absorbent. - Good to know: the building has an elevator, but you do have to carry your luggage up a few steps to reach the entrance, so it's not 100% wheelchair accessible. But once inside, you can comfortably use the elevator without carrying your bags up to the higher floors. 📍 2. Quiet location but easy to get around - The hotel is slightly tucked away from the busy, bright areas, making it very quiet and perfect for a good night's sleep. - Getting to the park is super easy. You can catch a Didi to the East Gate, and it’s very cheap—only about $0.70 per ride. - As for food, even though it's not right next to convenience stores or restaurants, you can easily order food delivery. If you want to eat out, you can take a Didi or walk to the restaurant area. It's not far, less than 1 kilometer away. 👩🏻💼 3. Friendly owner & Excellent service - The owner manages the reception herself and is extremely hospitable. She gives great advice on exploring the park. Whether you plan a 1-day or 2-day itinerary, she can recommend the perfect walking route. I planned a 2-day trip, so she suggested entering via the East Gate on the first day and the South Gate on the second day. - She is always in a good mood and genuinely seems to love her work. Her bright energy makes talking to her an absolute joy 🤣 I was so impressed! - Her English is okay for basic communication, but for convenience and speed, we used WeChat. The translation feature made it smooth, and we understood each other perfectly. 🎟️ 4. Better ticket discounts through the hotel - I highly recommend this! If you need tickets, let the hotel book them for you—the prices are actually better than booking through popular travel apps. - Whether it's the national park ticket (she also helps book your entry time slot for every day you plan to visit—though if you want to change the time, you need to ask her to update it for you), Baofeng Lake, or the Grand Canyon Glass Bridge, she can get them at a cheaper price. - Another perk is the unpredictable weather in Zhangjiajie. Letting her book day-by-day or close to the date means you don't have to risk booking too far in advance. I changed my plan easily because of fog and rain, and it was completely stress-free. 🚑 5. A personal note of gratitude (why I'm writing this review so long) Late at night on March 25th, I had a medical emergency. I reached out to the owner, and she was incredibly helpful. She actually left the hotel counter to take me to the hospital and helped sort everything out 😭🙏 (I truly apologize to the other guests staying that night!). I was so touched and grateful, and didn't know how else to repay her, so I wanted to write this review to pass on the good word. Summary: This stay was super comfortable and truly heartwarming. Not only because of how much she helped me, but the rooms and facilities are genuinely excellent. If you're looking for a place to stay, please keep this hotel in mind! ❤️

FFJXI originally booked this hotel for 3 nights but ended up extending my stay to 5 because I enjoyed it so much! The rooms were spotless, modern, and felt brand new. The location was perfect, and I also loved how everything was communicated through WeChat, it made the whole stay really convenient and easy. What truly made this place special, though, were the owners. Honestly, some of the kindest people I’ve ever met while travelling. They took the time to help and advise me about visiting the national park, and were always so warm and welcoming. The lady at the front desk (I’m so sorry I never asked for your name!) even let me use her number for the delivery app, which was such a thoughtful and generous gesture. I genuinely felt so welcomed here, and they will always be a memorable part of my trip. Wishing them nothing but success, they truly deserve it!

GGuest UserFor the view of the mountains, this stay is so awesome. If you mainly want to see the Zhangjiajie National Park, I really recommend this hotel. For me, I underestimated the amount of time it would take to get to Wulingyuan and Zhangjiajie city. It was a little inconvenient for me because I had to call taxis if I wanted to go out to eat and it was kind of far. A lot of taxi drivers would ask me for a tip because the location was difficult to reach. Apart from the location issue, I really enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was delicious, the staff were so accommodating and kind and even drove me to Zhangjiajie city on my last day. The dogs were so cute and the view of the mountains was stunning. If you want a perfect getaway from the city and stunning views, then this is the place for you. If you want to hangout in the more lively places, it might be kind of a hassle. This hotel is perfect for those who want a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

PPierre Sae Houer-LamThe owner is fully committed for us to have the best experience in Zhangjiajie. We arrived mid afternoon without any certainty to go visit the Grand Canyon the same day. Once he knew that, he speeded up our check-in to have the essential tasks done. Right after that he helped me to set up my DiDi so I can have a drive to the Grand Canyon. I never had such a good service before. During the next days, we realize that he can also help us book attractions for a better price and without queuing at the ticket office. Thanks to him we visited Baofeng lake and Huanglong Cave on top of all the other activities we booked in advance. We are not just receiving a room in this hotel. We received much more. We were really grateful for your kindness.

GGuest UserChoose this Hotel! We Had an absolute blast Here. The room was spacious and cosy. The water heated Up really fast and the beds Had heating Pads in Case it got cold😍 the hairblower was better than Mine at Home. We could also use the washingmashine The Location ist great and Service provided is top Tier. The food recommendations we're good and very closeby. My favourite was 7 pots. The Highlight was definitely the landlady, a sweet Lady who is doing her own tea. She booked Tickets for UeS so we didn't need to struggle with miniapps and entry Slots. Dont worry, you wont pay more than on Trip or Other Websites, she is very fair. The breakfast was 15 Yuan and in the neighbourbuilding. We will Miss this breakfast and especially the homemade wantan soup. There was a Lot of choice and everything was nice. We will definitely come Back!

EEduarda Carvalho[Parks info below] I'm glad that I checked out this hostel, good value for money. Room was nice and tidy, lots of electricity sources in bed and common area, curtains, hot shower. I shared the 6 beds dorm with just another girl, and you make your own bed. No toilet paper, no free water refill, no light in bed. It's worth the price. If you extend your stay directly in the hostel it's cheaper than the app. The reception area is more cramped but you can socialize there. Most of the people are Chinese but I also met some foreigners. The guy in the reception speaks English and can give you information, in addition to that I recommend you to do your own research. There are two baby cats playing around, and an adult one. You can get to the hostel from the west railway station by bus line 17 for 2 yuan - last bus at 8:40pm + 15 minutes walk. Location is close to the main avenue where there's a lot of restaurants, and a 24-hour convenience store close to the corner with this same avenue. There are two night markets in the city, one on the avenue like 10 min distance walking to downtown direction, more local, and another one on the street in front of the tianmen mountain cable car, more touristy. The hostel is 15 minutes walking to the central bus station where you can get the bus to zhangjiajie park and 15-20 to the tianmen mountain cable car station. [ATTRACTIONS] Zhangjiajie (avatar), tianmen (heaven's gate) and canyon (glass bridge) are 3 different parks in different locations. The entrance to zhangjiajie gives you access for 4 days. I went the 4 days and enjoyed it very properly. If you're short on time, 2 days will do, but plan it wisely based on your priorities. Gates are 1 hour trip distance from the central bus station - 1h30 at weekends. Also, note that before entering the park with passport and face scan, you need to do an APPOINTMENT for that hour. You usually do it there at the gate, but for a saturday all appointments for that hour were sold out in advance and I had to wait for 45 minutes to go in. Recommended to check in advance especially on weekends. There are 2 types of tickets you can get: including all cable cars and elevator for unlimited time for 450 yuan; or just the entrance (including only free shuttles) for 215 yuan - you still have the option of buying each transport at the park (75 yuan cablecar one-way, 65 elevator one-way). At first, I had understood that to see the avatar mountains, the ONLY way was through the elevator, so I bought the all-inclusive. Turns out you CAN go by free shuttle + hike + free shuttle if you start in the east gate. My favorite part was the huangshi village. For tianmen, the entrance is 260 yuan. Choose the route in advance because some sell out fast. Gold advice: go at least one hour or more BEFORE the hour that you have the tickets for. The hour of your ticket just matters before the very last point before boarding the cable car. The line was MASSIVE and it took me 2h30 waiting on a Monday - ended up getting in 2 hours late than my ticket time and couldn't finish the whole loop: took only the red trail and went down to the heaven's gate. About the Canyon, I can't say much because I decided to skip it and save the 210 yuan ticket - note that this price DOESN'T include the activities, you must pay separately. The package that includes almost* everything is 360 yuan. Last but not least, if you go to the 72 Wonders, there's also an entrance of 88 yuan. You can go/come back with the bus 17 - same line that serves to the west railway station, last bus 8:40pm.
