Great
GGuest UserThe room was spacious and the bathroom was clean and tidy. Even though it's an older hotel, it didn't feel dirty or unkempt inside. The room was very quiet and the breakfast was excellent. It's a great choice for a stopover, and I'd definitely come back again.

GGudemaolinMy stay at this hotel was absolutely delightful. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt a sense of warmth and comfort. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly, and the check-in process was quick and efficient. They even thoughtfully provided recommendations for nearby restaurants and attractions. The room itself was spotless and spacious, with a soft and comfortable bed and fresh, clean linens, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom was fully equipped with plenty of hot water and all the necessary toiletries, which was very reassuring. The hotel's breakfast offered a wide variety of options, both Chinese and Western, and everything was delicious, catering to different tastes. The overall environment was quiet and elegant, perfect for relaxation or business travel. What truly stood out to me was the professional and attentive service team. Whether it was bringing water, cleaning the room, or answering questions, I felt valued and cared for. I was extremely satisfied with this stay and will definitely choose this hotel again when I return to the city. I would also highly recommend it to friends and family.

AangelaliuleeThis is my third time staying at this hotel. The location is excellent, right across from the Piccadilly Line's Hyde Park Corner station, making it very convenient to get to central London. It offers great value for money.

GGanes ArumugamHere’s a sample review you can use or adapt based on your experience at Grand Sapphire Hotel, London: --- ⭐️⭐️⭐️☆☆ (3 out of 5 stars) I recently stayed at the Grand Sapphire Hotel in Croydon. The hotel has a modern look and is conveniently located with decent transport links to central London. Check-in was smooth, and the staff at the front desk were polite and helpful throughout my stay. The room was clean and had all the basic amenities — comfortable bed, clean bathroom, and fast Wi-Fi. However, the breakfast box was very minimal and may not be satisfying for everyone, especially those expecting a hot breakfast. Overall, it’s a decent hotel for a short stay, especially if you’re attending an event nearby.

AAlison’s Silk Road TravelsI stayed in room 302 in March 2026 for 1 night. I chose this hotel because I stayed there before and I was very impressed. This time I was given the same room again, I liked the room. It has a large comfy bed and a nice clean bathroom. The breakfast was really good as I like vegetables and they do great omelettes and fresh vegetables. The reception staff are very kind and helpful during my visit and remembered me from the last time I stayed. The hotel is in very easy access to the underground. On this visit the Elizabeth line was closed and I had to get a bus to agents Hill. This was very easy. There are plenty of places to eat around the hotel including an all you can eat from £11.99. I always have a good Stay at this hotel. There is a kettle with plenty of T and coffee. Some people staying on my floor were very noisy but that was all I can criticise really as it wasn’t the hotels fault. Very kind staff. There is a decent TV in the room and plenty of towels. During this trip and overnight stay I visited the Ramses exhibition at Battersea and images are included in this feedback. A good hotel to stay in that’s great value just outside central London about 20 mins on train.

AAnonymous UserThough the rooms lack a lot of the decor you see from the hotels' own photos you get used to it after some time. Rooms are comfy and spacious. Room's window looks over a nearby building project. Though there was quite big a stain on the sofa (possibly oil stain from food) which I avoided going near. Kitchen utensils are there though the wiping cloth and sponge look used and dehydrated. If you get this for good price we'll it's good enough.

AAlison’s Silk Road TravelsI stayed in a single room 512. It was a larger than expected room and the bed was high and comfortable. The hotel was easy to find you can catch the H91 bus from Osterley or walk for 15 mins from the station. The room had a fridge, TV and a decent bathroom with body cream in addition to all the usual cleansers. The shower was great! The room was carpeted and that was nice. There was a kettle with a basic range of hot drinks. The breakfast was good but the coffee not so good. I liked the choice of fresh fruit. The hot breakfast was varied but a bit cold. The toaster was not toasting the bread that well. The croissants were very nice crappy and fresh. The staff were pleasant and the foyer areas welcoming. I enjoyed my stay as I was visiting Kew Gardens and it took a short bus ride directly from the hotel and that was very good. So local to visit Kew Gardens. There are lots of food places around the hotel that are excellent value. I tried a chicken Biryani and it was superb! All very reasonably priced. The H91 bus stop is directly outside the hotel. I had a good view of Heathrow airport from my window and I was amazed how many flights went over the hotel. I couldn’t hear the planes but enjoyed watching them. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and I would definitely stay again. It was a good value choice and met all my needs. Excellent stay for visiting Kew Gardens and a very reasonable price! The images I’ve uploaded are the hotel from the outside the view from my room, interior of the room after I stayed! And the bathroom and cleansers hope it’s a help folks!

GGuest UserThe room was very small. London hotels are notoriously expensive, so the price for this one was fairly standard. I ended up booking Hilton hotels for the rest of my trip because, honestly, the overall quality and value here just don't compare to what you get for your money in China, but I suppose that's just the reality of prices in the UK. On the positive side, the transportation links were excellent, making it very convenient to explore.

GGuest UserI was in London for a mix of work and pleasure, and I went for Haringey Hotel due to its more affordable rate than most accomodation in the area. I commend the hospitality and kindness of the staff which was the highlight of my stay. They were lovely and attentive, which gave it a personable feel that you don’t receive with the big franchise hotels. Check-in and check-out was fast, the Wi-Fi information was in the room and the bed was extremely comfortable. I always looked forward to hopping in, which is even better than my own at home. The location is also convenient, only a few steps away from the station and many restaurants and grocery shops to choose from. In terms of improvement, the first noticeable difference was that the photos are misleading. The room did not have the same presentation or cleanliness apparent in the ones listed. It’s similar to seeing food adverts that look jaw dropping, but when you order one in-person you’re disappointed with the reality. There are a number of issues that I acknowledge is out of the hotel’s control. The building and rooms are old, therefore the walls are thin. You can hear mumbling when people speak at regular volume, the doors open and close, and laughing partiers in the middle of the morning. It’s located next to a vehicle repair shop, which can be noisy during the day. As for what could be maintained better is the cleanliness. The mirror had spots and dust that could only have developed over several weeks or months. The kettle was full of water, most likely from the previous check-in, but it had excessive calcium build up. There was no provided instant coffee, only creamer, and the tea were single bags that you’d find in a box which didn’t have their containers. The toilet also has build-up and the shower did not include any shampoo or conditioner, only body wash and hand soap from Aldi. I myself am an Aldi shopper, but as for presentation it does not look the best. Overall, I would recommend this hotel if you’re not looking for a luxury stay and are okay with bare essentials, topped with a more personal touch from the delightful staff. They have potential to raise their quality if they address the issues of cleanliness and presentation, to make it feel more like a home away from home rather than a university dorm room.
