Guest rooms with a view of Mt.Fuji/Large bath with a panoramic view of Mt.Fuji/2 hours from Tokyo

Highly recommended.
Clean facilities with two public onsens and an amazing few of Mt. Fuji. If you do not end up with a mountain view room do not be too concerned- there is an observation deck up stairs.
Private onsens are available for rental.
Great service and a relaxing environment, if you find yourself in the area I suggest a 2 night stay at minimum- I had only booked one night and it felt insufficient to fully immerse oneself in the relaxing atmosphere.

The staff was really nice and helpful! Also there were very delicious traditional breakfasts provided for extra charge that was more than affordable. The hotel is not far from the station, about 10-15 minutes walk with beautiful views on the Mountain Fuji and cozy streets. If you go left you’ll come across lots of shops and cafes.
The hotel itself is pretty old, but renovated and has huge rooms (especially in Japan).
Didn’t get the information about trash collecting, nobody did it and it was a bit inconvenient.
Anyway, I adored this place and didn’t have any troubles.
Thank you so much!

I was looking for a budget hotel with a view of Mount Fuji. I booked based on reviews, even though the shared bathroom made me a little hesitant. I had booked a small single room, but on the day of my stay, there were no other guests, so they put me in a large quad room. And the bathroom turned out to be not just a shared shower, but a small onsen (perhaps it was an o-furo, not mineral spring water). The owner happily told me it was all for my sole use :-) The room had a view of Fuji. WiFi was available in the rooms (which wasn't mentioned in the hotel description). There's a kitchen with all appliances and utensils. There was also a fridge in the room itself. The decor was simple, but everything was convenient.
"Enjoy the natural hot spring ""Fuji Five Lakes Hot Springs,"" and a breakfast featuring organic vegetables, freshly baked bread, and local dishes!
We offer a variety of excellent services, including a welcome bar.
You can enjoy views of Lake Kawaguchi, one of the Fuji Five Lakes, a World Heritage Site, and the magnificent northern foot of Mount Fuji!
We hope you'll use this hotel when planning your sightseeing trips, including Fuji-Q Highland, Lake Kawaguchi, and climbing Mount Fuji."

I stayed at Super Hotel Fujikawaguchiko and had a good overall experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a nice location near the lake.
One highlight was the breakfast—it was really nice with a good variety and a great start to the day. The staff were also friendly and helpful throughout the stay.
The only downside was the room size. It felt a bit cramped for three people, especially with luggage. Still, for a short stay, it’s a decent and comfortable option.

This is a small, fully self-service hotel, where you check in via a pad at the entrance.
It's about a seven- to eight-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Station, in a small residential area.
You need to change into slippers upon entering, but these are shared, so I recommend bringing your own.
The bunk beds were a bit hard, and the small room had its own refrigerator. There are two shared toilets, two bathrooms, and two sinks, and the shower room has a separate wet and dry area, which is quite convenient.
The hotel doesn't offer luggage storage.

The hotel's location is great, right opposite Lake Ohike Park, and there's a bus stop right outside. However, bus travel in the small town is quite congested. It's not too far from Kawaguchiko Station, so if you don't have much luggage, walking or cycling is definitely an option. Although the hotel facilities are a bit dated, having the chance to photograph Mount Fuji from the window is a big plus. Plus, the on-site public hot spring bath is excellent and a perfect place to relax. The tatami mat room is very spacious, the kind typically used by local families on outings; I'd say it could easily sleep ten people.

We booked this stay for the in-house public hot bath and the lakeside advantage. Check-in was smooth and fast with the staff providing a lot of information, events happening nearby and the different attractions. They spoke good English and was very helpful and informative.
The room was disappointing though. It was old, no functional furnitures. The seat covers were very old and with stains. Tv was too small for the size of the room. No convenient outlet near, we used a outlet that was meant for a lamp. Bedding was comfortable though. It is based on traditional house style.
The bath was wonderful, not crowded at all. Dont think its worth the price with its current fixtures and furnishing. Unless it was the room that faces the lake but for that they will charge extra.

Just stayed for one night to see Mt. Fuji and Iyashi no Sati. Wish we stayed for more! The location is great, very close to Kawaguchiko Station. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Room is very clean, has tatami, and also has futons (besides the beds). Our room is directly facing towards Mt. Fuji, but the neighbouring building blocked it so only the tip is visible. We went in winter so there weren't many flowers in the garden. But they have a specific spot within the resort to see Mt. Fuji clearly. There are also plenty of local restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance. Will definitely come here again!

The check-in is smooth and easy. The reception is polite and helpful. The hotel is a fair bit of distance away from the kawaguchiko station, hence it will be good if you travel light, if you plan to walk to the hotel, which is appx 10-15 minutes.
The Mt Fuji view at the rooftop made it all worthwhile.

The room is very old and it is a hotel run by an old lady. Entering it feels like traveling back to the Japanese dramas of the 80s and 90s! The room has a view of Mount Fuji! The rooms are actually as clean as those of an ordinary home, and the public baths use hot spring water. Normally there aren't that many people staying in the hotel. You can take showers at off-peak hours and still enjoy a large bathroom all to yourself. There are several toilets on both floors. There is no need to worry about fighting for the toilet. The hotel is less than 10 minutes' walk from Lake Kawaguchi. It can be said to be very friendly. It is recommended that those who want to experience an authentic Japanese-style hotel can try it. The hotel has free wifi and air conditioning. There is a private car shuttle to Kawaguchiko Station every morning at 8:30 and 9 o'clock. If you miss it, you can take a bus nearby and walk to Kawaguchiko Station, which takes about 20 minutes.

Amazing
GGuest UserThis was my first time experiencing a standalone hotel in Japan, and it was excellent!
Each unit can accommodate four people, with two people per room. The rooms are spread across two floors, and each floor has its own living room (with a TV and projector), bathroom, and toilet. This means you don't have to wait long to get ready, and you won't disturb each other in the morning.
You can see Mount Fuji from the rooftop of every unit, so you don't have to wake up early to catch the 'golden sunrise' effect on the mountain.
The hotel also provides complimentary drinks, coffee, and cake, and there's free popcorn available at the front desk.
AAnonymous UserConsidered good for the value as the package come with buffet style breakfast and dinner plus additional service like onsen, free float liquid for dinner, complimentary coffee, drinks, snack, free shuttle bus and library for selected time. Easy to get there by using red line bus just a very short distance of walk. The staffs are friendly and helpful, able to communicate in English. The only con is the building very old, a bit run down, it's time for them to consider refurbishment, but overall it is clean.
MM693401****Pros:
1. The Mt. Fuji view was perfect. The cleanliness and condition of the facilities were absolutely fine, even exceeding expectations. It's much better than some older, traditional hotels with Mt. Fuji views, offering excellent value for money at this price point.
2. The hotel service was also great. From the front desk to the restaurant staff and the housekeepers, everyone offered service with a smile. Perhaps because it was the off-season, another couple checking in at the same time received a room upgrade. The hotel also provides a convenient shuttle service from Kawaguchiko Station.
3. The restaurant staff were very professional. While the sukiyaki for dinner wasn't a huge surprise, it was decent and had no flaws.
4. It's only a few hundred meters from Oishi Park, which is easily walkable. Compared to other attractions, it's a bit more niche, but the scenery is beautiful and the atmosphere is very pleasant.
Cons:
1. It's quite a distance from Kawaguchiko Station, making it a bit far from other attractions.
2. You can't see Mt. Fuji at night due to the lack of light (which isn't the hotel's fault).
3. All rooms are non-smoking, and the small open space in front of the hotel with Mt. Fuji views is also a non-smoking area. There's only a small designated smoking area at the back entrance of the hotel. As a smoker, it's a bit inconvenient, but completely understandable and acceptable.
4. Also, there are no convenience stores or supermarkets within walking distance of the hotel. The Oishi Store listed on Apple Maps is actually closed.
5. To reach the hotel, you have to walk up a relatively long slope. It can be a bit tiring if you're on foot, but once you're down the slope, you're right by Lake Kawaguchiko, and there are very few people.
Overall, the hotel is excellent. If you're staying with a partner, you can take a walk along Lake Kawaguchiko below the hotel. With Mt. Fuji right in front of you, the atmosphere is romantic and there are few people around. Highly recommended.
KKanoksri K.The room is a comfortable size and offers a lovely view of Mount Fuji from the corner. It is clean and well equipped, with individual air-conditioning in the room. All the staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The hotel also has onsen facilities, including separate male and female as well as private onsen. Parking is available, located a short distance from the hotel.
CCongcongThe hotel's location is excellent, though the room was a bit small. Luckily, we used the large public bath, which had soaking tubs and an outdoor onsen. We could even see Mount Fuji from our room! The complimentary breakfast was decent, but a group of noisy Korean ladies were a bit disruptive. The dinner, however, was amazing: roasted beef, two or three types of fish, seafood paella, and curry – it far exceeded my expectations. I had read reviews saying dinner was very simple, but my actual experience was completely the opposite; it was incredibly rich and varied. Transportation was also convenient. We walked along Lake Kawaguchiko from the station when we arrived, taking many beautiful photos, though it was a shame the cherry blossoms hadn't bloomed yet. In the evening, we took a bus to Oishi Park to see Mount Fuji at dusk. When we left, we arranged for the hotel's shuttle service, and it only took five or six minutes to reach the station. I've actually visited Mount Fuji many times, mostly in summer and autumn, but I've never seen it so clearly from its base as I did this time. Absolutely delightful!
AAndreeaa_View from the room in the morning was amazing, got lucky with clear skies and little obstruction. Not far from the station, walkable distance however if you have bags you will need to call a taxi or book a shuttle. Didn’t know there was a shuttle available to take you to the hotel later afternoon (needed to book in advance) but was able to take it back to the station. Kaiseki style dinner included, was not really my taste.
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, just a short walk to Lake Kawaguchiko. We chose a room with windows, and the hotel gave us a corner room, so the front window offered a perfect view of Lake Kawaguchiko, and the side window overlooked Mount Fuji. The hotel also has free hot spring baths, which was a nice bonus. We also booked breakfast and dinner, and they were quite good!
Bbrayden_foongIt was definitely an enjoyable and worthy experience of traditional ryokan with tatami and futon with the best view of Mt. Fuji from the room window! The hotel itself overlooks parts of Mt. Fuji with Lake Kawaguchiko, and we even added on dinner and breakfast during the stay! They are simply one of the best meals during the trips in Tokyo! The onsen is another bonus to enjoy while seeing the view of Mt Fuji, even though it is public hot spring which might be a culture shock. Definitely worth to try it out again to enjoy the traditional Japan vibes around Lake Kawaguchiko.
GGuest UserAn Unexpected Gem – One of the Best Resorts We’ve Ever Stayed At
We booked this resort near Mount Fuji very late, and we were really worried because almost everything was already sold out. But it turned out to be one of the most wonderful stays we’ve ever had on any of our trips to Japan.
The resort has several staff members who speak Vietnamese, and they helped us so much. Every time we needed to go somewhere, the shuttle bus took us to the station—even the times when I requested it late without booking an hour in advance, they still tried their best to arrange a pickup. Their kindness truly showed how much they care about their guests. From the driver to the front desk to the restaurant staff, everyone was incredibly warm, friendly, and always smiling. They were genuinely adorable and made us feel so welcomed.
Our room was a huge surprise: a massive apartment-style space with four beds even though there were only two of us, plus two bathrooms. Everything was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The resort is located in a large forest, so the moment you step inside, you can smell the gentle scent of pine wood everywhere. The atmosphere feels grounding and refreshing—as if the Earth itself is recharging you.
One of the best parts is that they have dedicated areas for pets. I got to play with some of the guests’ pets, and it was honestly such a sweet experience. Breakfast was delicious every morning, in a very authentic Japanese style. I went down for breakfast every day, and the dining area has a beautiful view of Mount Fuji—I even recorded some stunning videos there.
I never imagined I would be able to book a resort this amazing. It seems like it has been operating for many years, with a rustic and warm charm that I absolutely fell in love with. Down at the reception area, they also sell all kinds of Mount Fuji souvenirs. When you’re out sightseeing in the Fuji area, you tend to buy a lot of souvenirs and snacks, which makes your bags very heavy—but the resort sells everything right there. I compared the prices, and they were actually much cheaper than the tourist spots, so we bought all our gifts there. Super convenient!
I genuinely want to come back to this resort for future trips. It is one of the best places I have ever stayed, and I absolutely adore it. Highly, highly recommended.
GGuest UserTraditional Japanese hot spring hotel with beautiful lake side view and experienced front desk. The hotel is located just near the famous Tenjozan cable car station and quite easy to access to other attraction site on foot or by riding a bicycle. A 90 min all-you-can-eat hot pot buffet is provided during the stay as well as the delicate Japanese style breakfast. Hot spring can be found in each guest room and on the 2nd floor for public use as well. Overall, I am quite happy with my visit to the Breezy Bay hotel.
