Amazing
GGuest UserWhenever I visit Yokohama, I only stay at the Mitsui Garden Hotel. It's incredibly convenient, just a few minutes' walk from Sakuragicho and the Minatomirai Line. Getting to Yokohama Station, Tokyo, Kamakura, and Hakone is super easy – a big thumbs up! 👍 Downstairs, you've got the Yokohama Museum of Art, Mark Is Minatomirai, and Landmark Tower all around, making shopping and dining a breeze. The room is spacious, and watching the night view from the sofa is simply unbeatable.

MMohaweiliuhaoyouchaThis hotel, part of the Ascott group, is incredibly convenient, located right above the Japan Avenue station exit via elevator, and very close to Yamashita Park. The room is quite spacious, and the internal facilities are excellent. Having cutlery and a microwave in the room was a big plus. The only minor downside is that they only provide the most basic toiletries like toothbrushes and toothpaste, unlike other hotels that offer samples of facial cleanser and such. Overall, I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Yokohama.

AAnonymous UserIf you’re looking for a hotel near K-Arena, this one is absolutely worth considering. The location is excellent, situated in a business district with plenty of restaurants available during the daytime. There’s a 7-Eleven on the first floor, which is very convenient, although it closes at 11:00 PM. After around 9:00 PM, it can be a bit difficult to find late-night food nearby. However, the vending machines offer options like takoyaki and pork teriyaki rice, which are helpful for a quick late-night meal. The room is spacious enough for two people and offers a great view. The bathroom is large and separated from the toilet, which makes it more comfortable to use. Amenities are available at the lobby for guests to pick up, and they provide everything you might need—cleansing oil, face wash, cotton buds, conditioner, shaving cream, shaving kits, and more. Pajamas are also provided in the room, and they are very comfortable. One of the highlights is the onsen located on the lobby floor, open until 1:00 AM. It’s perfect for relaxing after a long day of meetings or events. There is also a laundry area with washing and drying machines at a very affordable price. However, the dryer may not fully dry clothes even after 90 minutes, so keep that in mind. The lobby area is suitable for working late into the night. Wi-Fi is strong, and complimentary coffee and hot tea are available 24/7. The TV is excellent—Sharp 4K with good sound quality—perfect for watching your own Netflix content. Overall, a great stay, especially for business travelers or anyone attending events at K-Arena.

EErik ChiangI recently had the pleasure of staying at the JR-East Hotel Mets Yokohama Tsurumi, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The location is incredibly convenient, especially for travelers looking to explore Yokohama or needing easy access to Tokyo. Being right next to Tsurumi Station makes it incredibly easy to get around without relying too much on taxis or long walks. The room itself was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Though not overly spacious, it made efficient use of space, ensuring a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. What stood out most was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The complimentary breakfast offered a nice variety of both Japanese and Western options, which was a great way to start the day. If I had to find any fault, it would be that the hotel is located in a quieter part of Yokohama, which might not suit everyone's taste. However, for me, it added to the charm and made for a peaceful retreat after busy days of sightseeing. Overall, I highly recommend the JR-East Hotel Mets Yokohama Tsurumi for its comfort, convenience, and outstanding hospitality. It offers excellent value for money and is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting the Yokohama area.

GGuest UserThe hotel room was spacious, tidy, and clean, with excellent service. Everything was great, except for the down pillows, which I found uncomfortable (I was too lazy to call and ask for a replacement). The hotel itself is beautiful, and the large windows offer stunning views! All of Yokohama's famous attractions are nearby! Getting to the airport is also very convenient, as you can catch a bus right from the hotel's ground floor for 1000 yen for adults and 500 yen for children.

AAnonymous UserOverall, my experience pretty much aligns with what other reviewers have said. The hotel is a bit of a walk from Yokohama Station, but we always took the train from Shin-Takashima Station, which was only a five-minute walk and saved us a lot of unnecessary trudging – very convenient. It definitely offers better value for money compared to hotels in Tokyo. The room was quite spacious by Japanese standards, and the facilities were good. It had the classic Japanese unit bathroom, so we could enjoy a relaxing bath every evening after coming back. Disposable amenities were available for self-service in the 9th-floor lobby. Breakfast was very substantial and varied daily, which was a nice touch. The Wi-Fi was indeed pretty bad. I had bought a data-rich SIM card, so after one failed attempt to connect, I just gave up on the hotel Wi-Fi. Getting to Disneyland was easy by bus, about an hour's ride, which was much more convenient than constantly switching subway lines. For a round trip to Kamakura, the subway took about half an hour each way. Yokohama, as a seaside city, is absolutely charming. It's bright, clean, and well-planned. Coming here from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo was a breath of fresh air.

LLaosu2020I am a solo female traveler, and I really like this place first of all. It’s very close to the station. Staff can speak English and the hotel facility is really good. The bed and a cup soon is nice and they have separate bathroom and the living space is also nice to work and around that have two convenience store and one good rhyming basically if I have a chance to talk to your Oklahoma, I will go to stay in this hotel again.

SsgargiuloThe hotel is short walking distance from shin-yokohama station. Check in was easy and smooth. Out room was a bit small and tired , typical business japanese style but the furniture looked worn. The bathroom was also japanese style : no window + small bathtub with shower and minimal (well equipped) space overall. If you are lucky enough to get an upper floor room , the view from the big window is nice. On the basement there is a 7Eleven and just out of the hotel it is plenty of shops/restaurants

MM41323****The hotel is right on Zhonghua Food Street, so it's very easy to find. The front desk was staffed by a very kind old Japanese gentleman. The room space was decent, with a separate wet and dry area, and even a dedicated desk area. The overall space was quite large. The facilities were average, but overall it was a good stay.

JJiatengSince it was my first time making a reservation, I had some trouble getting into the room, but they responded quickly so there was no problem. The accommodation fee was cheap, so I was able to spend more money on sightseeing. There were convenience stores, restaurants, and parking lots nearby, so it was comfortable.
