Although the hotel isn't right in the city center, it's not far from downtown. It offers a quiet escape while still being conveniently located, and the environment is comfortable and peaceful. It's very close to Kok Tobe mountain, less than a 30-minute walk away. The front desk staff were also very helpful, and the breakfast was excellent.

The hotel lobby has been renovated, but many guest rooms still have their original Soviet-era decor, which is very old and dated. I booked a king-sized bed room online, and despite speaking to the front desk staff twice, they insisted on giving me a tiny, awkward twin room. The room was extremely small, and the shower space was cramped. They told me there were no king-sized rooms available and I had to accept this arrangement, which honestly left me speechless. The staff's service quality was truly poor.

This Chinese-owned hotel truly touched my heart! After staying at three or four hotels in Almaty, I finally found one I absolutely rave about! The location is right at the foot of the snow-capped mountains. Opening the window reveals endless snow-capped peaks in the distance, and lush greenery in front. If you're lucky, you might even see squirrels darting through the branches. Taking a deep breath of fresh air made waking up in a wonderful mood! The staff were incredibly warm and attentive. They helped with my luggage as soon as I got off the bus, enthusiastically recommended things to do nearby, and asked if the food suited my taste. Even traveling alone, I didn't feel lonely or helpless. Experiencing this kind of service in a foreign country makes you want to stay longer. I finally tasted the familiar flavors of home! Breakfast included millet porridge, fried dough sticks, and naan bread, along with several delicious side dishes. My stomach felt so comfortable afterward—it's so comforting for a Chinese palate! Another great detail: all the electrical outlets in the restaurant and rooms are Chinese standard! No need to bring an adapter; you can plug in your phone or laptop anywhere. No more worrying about forgetting your adapter! Anyone who travels abroad frequently will truly appreciate the value of this small detail! The sheets and duvet covers were brand new, and the mattress was incredibly comfortable. I've stayed at several places in Almaty before, and they were either outdated or difficult to communicate with. This place was truly comfortable in every way. In short, I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Almaty, and I recommend it to all my Chinese friends visiting the area!

The people was great, it has a kitchen and the place itself is new. Few things to improve and take into consideration: the road around the house is pebbled so if you have a suitcase you’ll have to carry it. The WC and showers are not male / female. You’ll share both toilets and showers. Shower door can be locked from the inside while you shower, however, if you apply enough strength and stupidity you can open it from the outside by pulling the handle, and unfortunately, not all gusts are blessed with IQ points enough to comprehend the concept of a closed door so some might keep trying to break into while someone is clearly showering and some might succeed. So it could help to install the proper shower cabins with its own lockable doors instead of using the shower curtain. The area is good, can walk up to KOK TOBE

La reception è stata molto ospitale e pronta ad aiutare per qualsiasi richiesta avessi. Le uniche cose che vorrei fare notare sono la mancanza di specchi nei bagni (eccetto dentro la doccia, dove c'è uno specchio piccolino), e il fatto che gli armadietti non si chiudono, anche se chiusi a chiave la particella sinistra rimane comunque apribile. Per il resto consiglierei questo ostello.

The location is near to everywhere : mall (150-300m), zhibek zholy or arbat area (800m), TSUM/Magnum the shopping center (200m), 70-350meters there are several bus stations -e.g.,line 92, 12. Walking about 1.5-2km to the Cathedral, Pavilon park, Green Bazaar. The staff is humble, the facilities is also OK: the bed, laundry is free, breakfast is delicious. Love the environment! so Cozy! ☺️

This hotel was the most delightful surprise of my trip abroad. The location was convenient, making it easy to get around. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and I could get a good night's sleep after a long day. The owner was warm and attentive, communication was smooth, and they patiently offered travel suggestions. And what's more! They even made dumplings for us! Such thoughtfulness made me feel incredibly safe in a foreign country. Overall, a perfect experience, definitely a hidden gem hotel I'd stay at again. Highly recommended!

The hotel is very clean and the location is excellent, making it convenient for both living and sightseeing. There's a shopping mall right across from the hotel, and a mountain and river behind it, offering a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. There's also a bus stop right outside the entrance. You can choose it based on your needs.

The room is spacious for 2 and is clean. The receptionist can speak and understand English. We will book this place again when we go back to Almaty. Thank you so much.
