MMarziraHotel Review: Raffles Makkah Palace My recent stay at Raffles Makkah Palace was absolutely outstanding, offering a seamless blend of luxury, thoughtful touches, and exceptional service that made our experience unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the reception team and delighted with a complimentary upgrade upon check-in. The upgraded room was not only spacious with breathtaking views but also impeccably clean and beautifully maintained, reflecting the hotel’s high standards. A special thank you to the reception manager, whose professionalism and welcoming demeanor made the check-in process smooth and set a positive tone for our stay. Their attention to detail and commitment to ensuring our satisfaction were truly appreciated. One of the thoughtful touches that enhanced our experience was the provision of bath salts, allowing us to unwind and relax after completing Umrah. It was a small but meaningful gesture that added to the overall sense of care. The service throughout the hotel was exceptional. The housekeeping team was proactive, consistently checking in to ensure we had enough towels, toiletries, and other essentials, contributing significantly to our comfort. Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. The breakfast service team was attentive and welcoming, ensuring we were comfortable and well taken care of. They even provided a walk-around tour of the buffet spread, introducing us to the menu and explaining the dishes. The breakfast theme was thoughtfully curated, offering a wide range of delicious options to suit every palate. Desta and Sandhy stood out for their exceptional hospitality. They were incredibly helpful, attentive, and proactive in anticipating our needs, making us feel truly valued as guests. Hajar also deserves special recognition for her patience and creativity in resolving our requests with practical and thoughtful solutions. The in-room dining team, especially Farouk, provided excellent service. Farouk’s attentiveness and efficiency ensured that every meal was delivered promptly and with care, enhancing our overall experience. Raffles Makkah Palace sets the gold standard for luxury hospitality. With its outstanding service, thoughtful gestures, and exceptional team, it made our stay unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Makkah and look forward to returning for another incredible stay.

GGuest UserJumeirah Hotel was excellent in terms of facilities — everything is new, clean, and well-maintained. Credit where it’s due: the staff were genuinely outstanding, extremely attentive, and always eager to help. Service level is easily one of the best. Location-wise, it’s around a 4–6 minute walk to Al Haram, which is acceptable. However, let’s be real — compared to the Clock Tower hotels, they are noticeably closer and more convenient, especially during peak prayer times. Now, about the “Partial Haram View” — this needs honesty. We booked two Deluxe Rooms with Partial Haram View, but the view is technically there… if you really look for it 😅. The Haram is barely visible, and most of the view is dominated by unfinished construction. You’ll spend more time spotting the Haram than enjoying it. Bottom line: Excellent hotel, top-tier service, great facilities — but don’t book it expecting a meaningful Haram view. If proximity and view matter, Clock Tower hotels still win.

GGuest UserMy stay at Swissôtel Makkah was excellent in every aspect. The hotel’s exceptional proximity to Al-Masjid Al-Haram is a major advantage, making it extremely convenient for prayers and Umrah without any transportation hassle. One of the standout features is that the hotel offers two entrances: the main entrance and an additional side entrance, which allows for smooth and quick access in and out of the hotel. This is a very practical feature, especially during peak times. The food was outstanding, with high quality and great variety. Most importantly, the restaurant staff were incredibly dedicated and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of. Another point worth highlighting is the hotel’s flexibility and professionalism, as they kindly allowed us a late check-out extension of two hours, which was greatly appreciated and added to the overall comfort of our stay. Overall, Swissôtel Makkah is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a prime location, exceptional service, and high-quality dining, providing a truly comfortable and memorable experience near the Holy Mosque.

RrettyncsHotel with the most beautiful views in the world. I once stayed in a water villa at Maldives. But I have to be honest, the view from this hotel is more beautiful than the water villa in the Maldives. + most beautiful view from my room + very close to Masjidil Haram (just a short walk) + comfortable room and well maintained + daily room cleaning and amenities refill + suitable for resting without losing connection to the Haram + many food options around the hotel + helpful if you want a more relaxed pace during your stay + plenty of lifts to avoid queues during rush hour + there is a special lift on the upper floors which helps reduce rush hour queues. + very helpfull staff + high speed wifi + you can hear the call to prayer and the imam from the mosque directly from your room + early check-in can be served when rooms are available. + you have 2 choice to go to Haram. You can use ajyad street or zamzam tower. - price is quite high, especially for Kaaba view rooms - the elevator does not require an access card, allowing outsiders to enter. In my case, there was someone from the Swissotel Al Maqam hotel who got the wrong room. If I ever visit the Grand Mosque again, I will choose this hotel again and again. I really enjoyed my stay here.

GGuest UserOne of the best options for those travelling with elderly parents or those requiring assistance. Everything was fantastic. Entrance is through the Clock Tower so it gets really busy during the evenings but aside from that had no issues. Would definitely stay again.

GGuest UserThe location is fantastic, just exactly what I needed especially in Ramadan. The masjid next door makes it so accessible and easy for travelers. What I really appreciate about this is The receptionist ( a lady which her name began with M - i think she’s Indonesian originally , I forgot her full name - sorry) She was very helpful and kind. The service guys are always nice. The staff at the entrance of the dinning were very friendly. The buffe was delicious and had variety. The only not very pleasant experience I had was with this 2 specific security guards at the front entrance on the 25th Feb around 8:00pm. They acted very rude and unhelpful ( I don’t know their names but they need to improve in their humanity and manners. Other than this, I has a very pleasant experience here mostly.

AAnonymous UserOur stay at Pullman ZamZam Makkah with Kaaba view was wonderful overall. The direct view of the Kaaba from the window made this accommodation very special and added so much to our visit. It’s truly a location you won’t forget. The hotel staff were friendly and eager to assist with any requests, and the walk to Masjid al-Haram took just a couple of minutes — super convenient for all prayer times. The room itself was clean and comfortable, though I think some areas could benefit from updated furnishings. Still, the atmosphere was peaceful and pleasant, and I would happily stay here again if I visit Makkah in the future.

Nnita88Our second time here and it has always been a great experience with the hotel rooms. The shuttle service to masjidilharam is perfect, but the gate under clock tower most times are closed, unlike before. So we have to divert to jabal umar area before arriving the outdoor courtyard.

GGuest UserHuge thanks and appreciation to the receptionist, Sara! She was a wonderful example of dedicated nationals who go above and beyond to serve the guests of God (referring to pilgrims or visitors to holy sites) with such warmth, cheerfulness, and excellent service. My thanks also go to the buffet staff and our Saudi coffee server, Abdulmajeed, and the rest of the team. Thanks to everyone for a truly unique experience!
