This is one of the cleanest and most cozy hotels I've stayed in. I had a 4 bedroom bunk bed that is very comfortable for 4 people. The shared bathrooms were unique for a hotel so I was kind of hesitant in the beginning but upon seeing it in person, I was amazed at how clean and spotless, and well maintained it is. I will definitely stay here again and highly, highly recommend!

Great location for exploring Boston with subway and bus service a very short walk from hotel. Subway is cheap and very efficient way to get around. Hotel rooms are spacious and reception team are very welcoming and helpful. If you want to visit the theatres or Chinatown both are only a few minutes walk. Like any hotel there are downsides.... The includes breakfast option is not correct, you get an allowance towards breakfast which does not cover the cost, also breakfast service can be very good or very bad over the 8 days we stayed we experienced both. Evening meals are OK but you can get much better a few minutes walk away. Whilst the hotel is generally well sound insulated for an old building which has been sympathetically converted to an hotel it does not help on a Saturday night, The local nightclub is extremely popular with long queue's down the street, the ones who cannot get in seem to have a weekly rave on the adjoining multi storey car park until around 3am. The noise is incredible and despite this being a weekly occurrence the hotels complaints seem to be ignored by the local authorities. My advice is to either be prepared and accept the inconvenience or avoid staying on a Saturday Night, the same applies to all the other hotels in the immediate vicinity, especially the one with the Candibar nightclub in its basement! Overall a good hotel which could be even be great if the onsite restaurant was improved, the ”includes breakfast” listing was correctly worded, and the local authorities took action about the unsociable noise. Final word of praise for the super reception staff who really go the extra mile to help you enjoy your stay.

Second time staying here, quite like the vibe of the hotel. By the river side of Boston river, quite quiet during the day, but also a popular gathering place at night and on weekends. So you get both the quietness and the crowd. The room is decent sizes, nothing to complain about. And the services are also reasonable. Surely would be my choice if I come back to Boston again. Oh forgot to mention, get a river view room, it's surely worth the price difference.

Very modern design. At level 2, many corners are nicely decorated. Good for photo taking. Bed is comfortable. But the water from bathroom will seep outside and that space had no drainage.

Great
GGuest UserThe room isn't huge, but with two 150cm beds, it's manageable for a family with kids if you don't mind snuggling. The mattress was incredibly soft; surprisingly, I usually get back pain at home but slept on this soft bed for three nights with no issues. There's a Starbucks drip coffee maker in the room, and another Starbucks next to the front desk on the second floor. Bar10, also on the second floor, serves good food. The hotel connects to two malls, which is fantastic in the cold winter as you don't have to go outside to find food. The cleanliness was impeccable, it looked like it had just been renovated. The shower had both an overhead rain shower and a handheld option; even though it was in a tub, the water pressure was excellent. Facing north, we had an unobstructed view of the river and MIT across the way. Boston truly is a beautiful city, and I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit.
The hotel is very close to the airport by taxi, and you can also walk to Back Bay Station in about 10 minutes. After checking in, the hotel provided a $35/day credit to be used at the bar on the second floor.
The only drawback is how noisy it was. On the first night, I'm not sure what happened nearby, but there were people shouting and the sounds of police cars and ambulances well past midnight, which really disturbed a business traveler's rest.
Zzwk1029I stay at this hotel every time I take a flight. The parking lot is large and there is no charge if you don't stay overnight, so it is very convenient to return the rental car, take the hotel car back to the hotel, and then take the hotel car to the airport the next day. However, the only downside is that there is no water or coffee available in the lobby in the afternoon, which is very uncommon in the United States.
AAnonymous UserHad such a wonderful experience here, we went on a little weekend getaway before our first baby comes, firstly they gave us a complimentary upgrade to our room, my honey and our friend enjoyed the bar drinks and were served their beverages in the timely manner, breakfast the next morning, the food was delightful and was brought directly to our room for us. Check in and out was made so easy with the kindest front desk attendants. The view from our room was incredible!
10 out of 10 will be staying here when we find ourselves in Boston again.
GGuest UserLocation was perfect, quincy food market next door. Plenty of good restaurants around. Walking distance to little Italy and state house to follow freedom trail. In terms of the Hotel, gym is small, only few machines in so you need to time it well to use it if you don't want go share it with others. Room was big, dated. Our room smelt, we could not establish why. Also we could not open our balcony door to get fresh air. We spoke to the reception and they offered to sent someone but nobody showed up. We pulled up with the smell by using AC. However without fresh air we struggled to sleep as was either got to hot or to cold. Bed was big and comfortable. Room was cleaned every day, bed was done, fresh towels and toiletries change every day. Fridge in our room was broken so we could not use it to store cold water. Staff overall was very nice. They have suitcase storage which made things easy. We had our flight in the evening and full day go still enjoy Boston. Check out is at 12 which leaves you with plenty of time in the morning if you wish go have slow morning.
ZZILIThis Indigo should have just been renovated last year, and Apple's own map shows Holiday Choice. I have stayed a lot at Intercontinental / Crown / Holiday / Smart Choice. This is my first time staying at Indigo. Some places around are under maintenance and a little messy, but there are many restaurants and supermarkets. Get a staple drink for breakfast, a small portion and a bad attitude.
There is no garden around this hotel. Why is it called Garden? Because next to TD Garden, which is also the home field of basketball and ice hockey teams, concerts are also held, the price changes a lot, there are often no rooms when there are activities, and it is noisy after leaving at night. It is also next to the North Railway Station and the subway station, but to go to New York from South Station. There is a parking lot and valet parking at the entrance of the hotel.
Unfortunately, when I checked in, it was 5 ° C outside, and I changed to the fourth room to heat up. When your room has a small air conditioner as shown in Figure 4, the large air conditioner is likely to be bad, and the small air conditioner may also be bad, much colder than the hallway. The front desk will let people repair it. (Fake decoration) If it is not repaired, it will help you to change. The attitude is good, but I suspect that they already know which rooms have bad air conditioning. The cleaning staff speaks Spanish, not English at all, and requires software translation.
In short, you don't need to live here if you don't want to watch the game nearby.
GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Boston Bayside. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, and the warm cookie at check-in made me feel at home right away. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a day in the city. The location is also very convenient with easy access to public transportation. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back again!
Ssofiia ShokhinaThe hotel itself was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the housekeeping staff was especially kind and attentive - we truly appreciated their work and hospitality.
However, we experienced a serious issue regarding the resort fee policy, which left us feeling confused and misled as international guests.
During online booking, the resort fee was listed as $25 per night, but important information about additional mandatory charges only appeared after payment was completed, when cancellation was no longer possible, wich is disappointing. Upon arrival, we were charged $200, which was later explained as $25 per person per night - something that was not clearly communicated during the booking process or at check-in. Initially, we believed this payment was a refundable deposit, as no clear explanation was provided.
What felt particularly unacceptable was the way additional fees appeared in multiple stages:
1. extra charges becoming visible only after payment and confirmation,
2. additional payments required again upon arrival at the hotel, and
3. further unexplained charges after checkout - in our case, an additional $16 was withdrawn without clear justification.
A staff member kindly explained that the resort fee includes Wi-Fi, water, and tea in the room, which we did use as they are standard services normally included in hotel stays worldwide. The fee also covered additional optional amenities such as bicycle parking and a complimentary alcoholic drink at the bar. However, we did not use these extra amenities, as they were not relevant to our stay. Since these services are optional by nature, it was unclear why guests are not given the choice to opt out instead of being required to pay for them regardless of usage.
Even more concerning is that these mandatory resort fees are presented as payment for comfort and amenities, yet the overall stay did not fully reflect this. The soundproofing in the hotel is very poor, and we could clearly hear the neighbour’s television. The manual heating system in our room also did not function properly. We chose not to report these issues at the time because we spent little time in the hotel and did not expect the final cost of the stay to become so high. In hindsight, considering the total amount paid, these comfort issues become more significant.
We strongly believe that all mandatory taxes and service fees should be transparently included in the total hotel price from the beginning. When fees continue to appear after payment, during check-in, and even after departure, guests understandably feel uncomfortable and misled.
Because the final amount paid was much higher than expected, we realized that for the same total price we could have chosen a better hotel without additional hidden fees - which we in fact did for our following stay.
We kindly ask the hotel to review these charges and consider a partial refund, as greater transparency and fairness in pricing would greatly improve trust and the overall guest experience
FfterraboI recently had the pleasure of staying at Yotel and overall, I was highly impressed by the level of service and the prime location of the hotel.
Service: The service was exceptional. From the moment I checked in to the time I checked out, the staff members were courteous, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. They were always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests, making me feel truly valued as a guest.
