Exactly what we needed. Comfortable room and bedding, very large shower tub. The Breakfast was nice, with attention to avoid disposable material, fresh yoghurts, two coffee machines. The free Lausanne pass allowing free public transportation (and other advantages) was appreciated.

Staying during this strange time of COVID, we enjoyed the experience thoroughly. A clean hotel with all the facilities you need. The gym is small but suffice to get a training session in. The location of the Hotel is excellent with ease to everything. A nice roof top bar very close by also. The restaurant and the staff we really enjoyed. Nice Thai food menu and great ambiance. It would be nice to enjoy out with COVID with the bar in full swing also. Breakfast was good - help yourself service. A great experience with nothing negative to say and would definitely return. Parking locally for the night is 28chf

Typical Moxy. Min room, not much more than bed, tv, light and bathroom. No dresser, no phone. (Know what to expect with Moxy - Ive used them in Scotland, England, Germany, Copenhagen) - but this one has no Air conditioning, charges for hot water. It is over 100F/ 37.8 C and I am melting in the room. No ice machines either. Very small sweaty ”workout” area. I won't categorize it as a gym. For hotel that brands itself as ” stylishly chic hotel that focuses on less, while offering so much more!” --- the only offering is sweating myself into a puddle. Bathroom - lots of long hair left in shower. Not dirty, just left overs.

Good location very close to the railway station, restaurants etc and a short hop on the metro either downhill to the lake or uphill to the centre of town. One of the nice check in 'gifts' was a public transport pass for the length of your stay....handy. Rooms are a little bizarre in design and don't take a cat as you won't be able to swing it!!. Bed very small, low and uncomfortable however walk in shower in the small partitioned bathroom very good. Breakfast OK ish. Think you pay a premium for the excellent view of the lake. Reception staff very good and helpful. Nothing special about this place but handy, very clean with good staff.

We spent 3 nights at the Hotel Mirabeau in April 2022. The hotel is immaculate, rooms, hallways, restaurant - everywhere. Hotel is very centrally located, and with the Lausanne transportation pass you can take the metro up or down the hills, or to the villages along the lake for free during your stay. The breakfast buffet was very good, large selection of hot and cold items. The chocolate croissants were a particular favorite. We booked 2 rooms, one a regular room and the 2nd a balcony room. The hotel upgraded the regular room so we were next door to each other. The balcony room was lovely - a balcony with table and 2 chairs, a sofa, chair, desk, coffee table and fridge in addition to our king size bed. I'd recommend springing for the balcony room. Bed was very soft but comfortable. There was plenty of room for 4 adults to sit around and visit. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is a theme hotel. The hotel is easily reached by the metro, from Losanna station to OURS stop. As soon as you enter the hall there is a delicious chocolate parfum probably due to the ”chocolate fountain” from which you can taste. Smiling and very friendly staff. A spacious and well furnished room for me. If I have to find a sin ... The hotel provides a card for the means, so very comfortable as an option. With a walk of just 10 minutes walk you get to the center. Or two minutes away there is the metro stop and you will find the can reach any direction (lake- center).

This was a very surprising experience because ALL of the other hotels we have been were so clean and great in every way. Switzerland is a very clean country even the railway stations are clean not to mention the train carriages and all the other hotels we have seen, and on this trip we visited by now 7 other similar category ones all spotless. So if I wanted to be kind I would say it’s all run down and the owner has a terminal disease whereby he would not care for the property anymore.., but if I want to be realistic it was downright dirty and disgusting. The room was large with old style furniture probably furnished twenty years ago and never cleaned the upholstery. There were dark spots on the little sofa and chairs most likely from someone’s shoes. The wall paper was all faded and also dirty. There was a note on the night stand to say they only change the linen every three days due to being “greens” so when I checked a pillow and seen a huge dark stain poking out from under the sham we just did not use that.. next to the bed there was a sticky spot on the blue carpet and in a good case scenario it must have been hair gel..(?) whatever it was they just ignored it. The shutters on the windows were half way broken off their rails.. the wood of the furniture was so scuffed I could not tell if it was a dark or a light stain originally ( ?!!) It is a 4 star hotel?!)? OMG And in Switzerland where even the WC / toilet is sanitary and clean.. I have to make a distinction though, the junior stuff was extremely nice and helpful at the reception and a test it is the fault of the manager or owner or both, not the employees. They were very great. The manager ( who seemed like the boss ) was giving them all instructions when we got in the door and proceeded to tell us that our accommodations are ready and since it’s a mini suite it will be phenomenal. The location is amazing right across the station so it suited us. And other then the horrible grunginess and dirty conditions it would have been fine. The bathroom was fine but the room really made me write this bad review. It is a shame to have a hotel saying they have four star rating and not clean up their act ( in this case literally). Mitzi

My stay at the B+B Hotel Crissier was pleasant. The hotel offers good value for money. The rooms were spacious and clean. There was enough space and everything was well maintained. The beds were comfortable and ensured a restful night's sleep. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel offers simple but functional facilities. Nothing necessary was missing and everything was functional. This is very positive, especially at this price.

On a recent trip to Lausanne, I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel de la Paix. I had a charming room with a great view overlooking Lake Geneva. The decor of this hotel is classic and luxurious, and I found the desk in my room to be very practical. Service is impeccable throughout the hotel. Breakfast is served in a nice ground floor room with great views over the lake. Lausanne is a beautiful city, but very hilly, so staying at a hotel like this one which is right in the centre of town was very useful as one can go back to the hotel for a bit of a rest after all that rather tiring climbing lots of steps! I look forward to my return trip to this excellent hotel and lovely city.

The location is good. You get off the Metro and take an elevator. Then the hotel is right in front of you. Less than 7 stops of Metro from the lake-side Ouchy areas. It is a walking 5-minute distance from the Lausanne Cathedral. One stop of Metro away from the areas where Brand-name shops situate. There is a large Coop supermarket just across the street. You can buy food there and cook food by induction-cooker. Cutlery and tableware are also provided in the room.
