Hotels near Target in Layton

Driving to Huangshi to pass by here for one night, the hotel looks quite new, most of them are permanent guests. The room is large and has a fully equipped kitchen, and the bathroom is very comfortable. The hotel does not provide breakfast but Leiden is not big. The hotel is not far from the nearby breakfast shops and supermarkets, and it is next to the army station. You can't miss ”Hill Aerospace Museum” when you come to Leiden.

This was our second time staying here although the last was ~5 years ago. The hotel and room were clean and generally well maintained. We booked a 2-queen+sofa bed room and, unlike many other equivalent hotels, here the sofa bed was in its own separate room making this very spacious even for a family of 4 + dog! The only minor thing to be aware of is that the in-room technology is slightly dated. There are no USB-sockets and while there were loads of power sockets around the room unfortunately quite a few of these were so old and loose that either an adapter would fall out of them or fail to just make electrical contact. This should be easy for management to fix and given the high standard of maintenance in every other aspect of the hotel I suspect they will. However, this was a minor issue (we could find enough working sockets for us) and we will definitely be staying here again whenever we next pass that way!

It was a hotel chain, the breakfast was quite good and the room was very clean. Next time, if you have the opportunity to come here again, you will stay at this hotel. But ask for a lot.

Every aspect of the hotel accomodations and staff service was absolutely superb! From esthetics of rooms to comfort of beds, from ample and varied complimentary breakfasts to thoughtfulness of staff - it was outstanding at every level.

The Best Western Layton is our go to hotel when we visit family in Utah. It is perfectly centered between SLC, Ogden and Park City. It is also 5 minutes away from Hill Air Force base. The hotel is easy to find, Adjacent to many restaurants, huge open parking lot, a mall and has a movie theater in the same parking lot. Come on, what more could you ask for ? The staff is very friendly the p The breakfast has a great variety and staff keep it well stocked. The pool has always been clean and fitness center is not bad either. If you join the free Best Western rewards program program the rates to to stay are very affordable.

I was recently in The Salt Lake City area. I flew there, rented a car and took a roadtrip in Utah, Idaho, Colorado and New Mexico. I stayed at this location on a Friday then a Sunday. I'm big on checking reviews and the reviews here were great. The price was higher than I'd like but the reviews were too good to pass it up. This hotel was great! It is well worth the price. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. The first night I was without a car so I had to walk around to find a nearby grocery store, gas station and restaurants. I felt very safe walking around the area even after dark. The rooms had a regular curtain and a blackout curtain in the window. The blackout curtain worked very well. The breakfast was amazing! I would have been happy if I had paid for it but it is free of charge. The first morning it was scrambled eggs with ham and cheese, sausage links and hash browns. The second morning I was there it was more of a breakfast burrito kind of scrambled eggs, bacon (very fatty which is a huge plus for me!), and hash browns. One thing to know in advance is they have discontinued their shuttle service. This did not hurt my review at all but it is important to know before you arrive. The area is a bit of a public transportation dead zone. Not really. They exist. I got the feeling that North Salt Lake is close enough to Salt Lake City that they don't feel the need to offer much public transportation to that area but further north does have more options. This is important because I brought a cab from the airport the first night, and this might all be on me for not exploring all my cab options, but I felt bamboozled by the rates. This might be every taxi company there but I was charged over $8 per mile for that ride. It was a 9 mile distance from the airport so I'll let you do the math. So the following day when I went to pick up my rental car I took public transportation. It took a bus and the train to get me to the airport. For the price you couldn't beat it but I found it to be a bit too much. Of course that isn't the hotel's fault but the shuttle would have been a way to avoid all that. If I ever come back to Salt Lake City I would absolutely stay at this hotel. I love it and the surrounding neighborhood.

Rent a car from Salt Lake City Airport and stay here for one night and then continue to Huangshi. Here, on the highway, the price of the hotel is much cheaper than that of Salt Lake City. There are Wal-Mart in 5 minutes and costco in 10 minutes. Good place to go, there is McDonald's to solve the dinner, there is a microwave in the room, it is very convenient to buy some food in the supermarket, the breakfast variety is relatively simple, but the food is sure to be no problem, there are meat, eggs, bread, you can also Do yourself as a waffle, a very common gourmet breakfast. In short, a very cost-effective hotel

This was my very first trip to Utah but not only my first time but my first time away from my Husband and my Children. The room was very clean and welcoming. The staff at the front desk were always smiling and the Team in Fahrenheit we’re so warming. Morgan took some time to talk to me as I told her I missed my family. She shared pictures of her adorable baby and just made me feel okay. Our team saw her the night before we left, and got a picture together. The property is beautiful and very well kept. We had 3 days of conferences at the Davis Conference Center and the fact that we didn’t even have to walk outside to hotel to get there was awesome! (Especially when you’re not used to the cold, lol) Connected to the hotel, the convenience alone is 5 stars. Lots of places to eat near by but I loved their Cobb Salad and Brisket Grilled Cheese they had at their restaurant on site. Can’t wait to come back and visit this property again in the future. The hotel is under construction. This was not communicated to me when I booked. The hotel that was advertised was not at all the hotel I found on arrival. There was no hot water for most of the time during my stay. The hotel I booked had a pool. I was looking forward to using the pool. There was no pool. My room was next to the rail road. While I understand this is something that the hotel cannot control. The hotel or the booking company should have let me know. Every time a train went by, which was anytime night or day, the whole room shook, as if I were experiencing an earthquake. At the very least, the hotel should have given me a substantial discount for having been waken every night, all night, by the trains. Most hotels have a cable tv package for their guests. What I saw was a handful of unusual tv stations, related to no cable provider. Also, there were no news channels. There was no indication on the tv itself or in paper, describing or naming the tv stations or their number. I asked the front desk for this information. I was told that housekeeping would bring this information to my room. They did not. Later, I found a little slip of paper at the front desk, for the guests, a little smaller than a business card, indicating the tv channels available, by number. But, still no information on what the channels were. Housekeeping services, I was told, was only available if the guests requested it. So, on the first morning there was no coffee available in my room. I had to wait for the coffee in the breakfast room. Even after I specifically requested housekeeping services, the services seemed unusual or inadequate. For example, they provided fresh towels, but didn't pick up used towels. They didn't touch the unmade bed. They took away used coffee service for two and replaced it with one. Also, in the bathroom there was a little pile of dirt, hair, and nails (not mine!) in the corner. It was clear that the housekeepers cleaned the bath, but not the corners. I specifically asked the front desk to let the housekeeper know about this, but nothing was done. (Room 423). The phone in my room wasn't working. So, all of the issues mentioned above- the housekeeping, coffee, etc. I had to communicate to the front desk in person because I had no phone in my room. I had no number for the hotel to call from my cell phone. There was a physical land line phone in the room but it didn't seem to be connected to anything. The air conditioner in my room was so loud, it was impossible to sleep, even if the rail road didn't keep my awake. So, the choice was to stay awake due to sweltering heat or from the unbearable noise of the AC. At breakfast, there should be some good fruit choices. What I saw were hard-as-rocks Granny Smith apples and pale past-their-prime mushy oranges. There was an over diluted apple-type juice that didn't have any taste. At one point during my visit, about halfway through, my key cards suddenly stopped working, for no discernable

Driving Seattle to NC… this was the first hotel I finally felt like I could really relax from the road. My dog also really needed a good rest and even she felt right at home here! Genuine, exceptional customer service from the nice folks at the front desk. I believe one was in training and she did an awesome job. Microwave/coffeemaker in room. Small convenience store thing behind the front desk. All the usual amenities. Spacious rooms with high ceilings. Tasteful and updated aesthetic. Nice area with lots of shopping and plenty of food. I’ll surely stay here if I happen through Utah again!
