It’s worth the bumpy ride to come here. This place is amazing. The view is stunning and the ocean breezes are instantly present anywhere on the hilltop location. The property is beautifully and painstakingly maintained — particularly hard to find in Martinique. Many places show photo enhanced pictures - not the case here. The gastronomic prix fixe menu is fabulous and was repeatedly (x4) a success. Wine choices, thought limited, are all very good (it’s France after all!). Even the breakfast verges on the gastronomic with local fruit and hooves made from local produce. We were supposed to stay for three nights and we ended up staying for seven. Maybe that says it all.

Beautiful hotel on a hill overlooking the bay. Restaurant setting and gardens are excellent and a great place to relax. negatives, one would be the bathroom which was looking tired and very little water pressure in the shower and there isn’t any parking that doesn’t require going up a very steep incline with the cases! There is one handicapped parking space close to the reception though

Great place to start our postponed vacation after the COVID Pandamic. We had high expectations but were very impressed with the hospitality and layout of Plein Soleil! We had our own private pool - which was very welcome after a long trip. We decided to have dinner at the restaurant 2 nights and were both times very satisfied with the food, the wine and the service.

Very good dining experience whether breakfast or evening dinner. Rooms somewhat tired. Room shower not working properly and was not sorted when mentioned (used 2nd shower instead which are available with private pool rooms). Overall dining experience made up for it.
Road to hotel is a 4x4 experience!

Room with a pool was wonderful but this property is very isolated - road access was terrible and frankly the restaurant was more interested in the presentation of their food than in providing a quality eating experience.

Il y a des jours avec et des jours sans. Nous sommes arrivés dans un hôtel qui n’a aucunement le standing d’un 4 étoiles. Qualité du service médiocre. Master pool médiocre. Hôtel non entretenu. Un séjour très inconfortable, une expérience négative que je n’avais encore jamais connue dans un hôtel dit 4 étoiles. Nous avions commandé un room service, nous avons dû les relancer ne voyons rien car ils avaient « oublié ». Le seul point non négatif le restaurant de l’hôtel qui proposait des plats corrects. Une expérience plus que désastreuse qui ne sera pas renouvelée.

Avec mon conjoint, nous avions opté pour la chambre master pool à 255€ la nuit (en basse saison). Nous nous attendions à trouver le standing d’un 4 étoiles mais nous avons été extrêmement déçus. L’hôtel Plein soleil est un 4 étoiles de la médiocrité. En voici les raisons: - accès à l’hôtel par une route en piteux état avec de nombreux nids de poule - une chambre sale: poussière non faite, clim non entretenue (champignons), lavabo avec du dentifrice, serviettes de toilette … - une salle de bain très petite avec une douche qui l’est tout autant - piscine non nettoyée: amas de feuilles au fond et en surface - invasion de moustiques par les persiennes qui sont ajourées et ne se ferment pas complètement. Nous avons passé la nuit à tuer des moustiques à coups de claquette. - jardins non entretenus Les points positifs à retenir: le service et les plats au restaurant - la literie et la grande superficie de la master pool (notamment les extérieurs) Nous ne reviendrons pas et nous vous conseillons de réfléchir à deux fois avant de payer une telle somme pour des prestations qui ne les valent pas.

Superbe w-end a l’hôtel , très belle chambre avec petite piscine fort sympathique , , un acceuil très chaleureux , nous avons dîner à l’hôtel. , c’est très très bon et frais , avec un service efficace. Un endroit hors du temps , une escale de bonheur . Je vous le recommande vivement La vue est magnifique .

Au delà de la beauté du site, l'hôtel plein soleil a accueilli l'un des plus beaux événements de notre vie, notre mariage! Sans aucun doute le meilleur choix qu'on ait pu faire! Nos convives et nous même avons été choyé par toute l'équipe, les plats étaient exquis, le vin d'une grande qualité et tout cela pour un peu moins de 100 personnes. Tout était parfaitement orchestré, alors merci pour votre professionnalisme. Quant à la chambre dans laquelle nous avons séjourné, rien est à redire! Décoration délicate, literie haut de gamme, petit déjeuner copieux et succulent, ce fût un "mariage" et un "après mariage "réussi. Merci à vous tous! Je recommande fortement.
