Very bad. Noise until 2 o'clock.
There are so many mosquitoes and bugs that they fly into your mouth when you walk.

Beautiful hotel. Worst service. Told we could check in early, was called to say our room was ready when it wasn’t and didn’t check in until well after regular check in. Gate to exit garage was broken trapping many cars in the garage and we were told to call the City since they had jurisdiction over the parking garage. Call the City on a SATURDAY!! Not to mention the big Edison parade closed down all street around the hotel and left no access to the hotel other than by foot. The Luminary made no effort to create access to the hotel. They told us to park in a Pubkx parking lot a mile away. We walked 8 blocks to get to an Uber while our car sat stuck in the garage at $1/ hour all weekend. We had two rooms and paid a premium for them and we’ve never been so disappointed especially as Marriot Bonvoy members!

While not inexpensive, and the king room was on the small size, it was totally worth it. Choice of valet or self park.

We always love staying at the Luminary. It’s a great location, can have a fun night out as a couple downtown and then relax in luxury!

We were there last weekend.
The hotel is new and very beautiful.
But we had some inconveniences, first there are no people who speak Spanish so for tourists who do not speak English it will be a little difficult, second they charged our credit card by mistake, two charges and we are still waiting for the refund of one of the charges .
I asked to change the room for one with a better view, they gave us the room but not only did it not have a better view but also, the cleaning was not the best.
So for what you pay per night…we are somewhat disappointed.
Maybe it was bad luck but keep an eye out for charges on your credit card.
The area was convenient, you could walk to different areas, maybe a little noisy since there are several bars around.

Only 1 elevator working, the pool closed at 1pm, the rooftop bar was not opened at all. The staff were awesome.
