Grecotel Eva Palace

Fabulous hotel in an amazing setting. Travelled as two couples. Booked superior panoramic seaview room which I would highly recommend. Great welcome from reception staff who were helpful throughout our stay. Room very comfy with great pillows. Housekeeping excellent, room kept beautifully clean every day. Varied choice of food with helpful staff in the dining room. A particular mention to Maria who was warm, helpful and courteous. Staff in lobby bar were also excellent, especially Sylvia who carried out her duties with a lovely sense of humour. Beach bar staff were also extremely helpful and food there at lunchtime was tasty and plentiful. The location of this hotel needs to be experienced to be appreciated. All in all we had a wonderful holiday and plan to return.

During our stay at the Eva Palace we were unsure what to expect. To say it has been amazing is an understatement. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and explained everything so that we never felt lost. A special mention goes to Maria from the lobby bar who always accommodated us. She deserves to be promoted based on her customer service skills. Hope from the beach bar showed us true compassion and skill in her role. Maria at the pool always welcomed us and showed her professional attributes by remembering our orders and our room number. These three are a credit to the hotel amongst many others. This is definitely a place we would visit again which rarely happens to us.

On arrival, we were given such a warm welcome which continued with the staff in all areas throughout our stay making this hotel so special. A member of staff came out to greet us as we got out of our vehicle and another staff member was there to take our suitcases which he refused any help with. Refreshments were served whilst we were checked in and briefed on the hotel, where to go and what to do before being shown to our room. The lobby area was clean, cool and spacious with a lovely seating area boasting beautiful sea views. Our room was clean with a nice patio to sit on and lovely views. Quite small if you have a much older child with you offering limited privacy however it suited us as it kept the cost down from having to pay for a villa and we weren’t in the room very much anyway. Very comfortable bed, nice pillows and duvet. Air con and bar fridge. Sufficient storage space. Bathroom was nice with a shower in the bath, good towels, mirrors and a decent hair dryer. Watch out for the mozzies if you keep the door open in the evenings. The grounds are gorgeous and lead to the swimming pool area and beach. Lots of steps to get up and down which some people may want to consider. The pool is a lovely size with lots of sun beds however, the tiles can be very slippery when wet so be careful and there is a build up of green on some of the inside pool tiles but otherwise very clean. The swimming pool toilets weren’t great towards the end of the day which could be improved on. This area also has a mini market shop offering useful bits and pieces and evening entertainment which was nice to listen to or watch for a while when going for a walk after our dinner. The little beach is lovely with a bar and food station offering different seating areas on the beach, grass, wooden floor areas with sun beds and cocoon swings. Swimming in the sea is very nice but it is quite stony so wet shoes are advisable. Perfect place for evening sunsets which is a must. To the right and left of Grecotel Eva Palace are sister hotels which can be reached by either walking or taking the hourly water taxi speed boat at no additional cost which was a lovely touch. Each hotel had something different to offer and was nice to occasionally go and do. The Imperial offered a good variety of water sports which was great fun and the bay was lovely to swim and snorkel in with a sandy beach and swimming area. There is also a nice ice-cream shop at this hotel. Now, the best part. For us, it was the main restaurant which served a buffet breakfast and dinner. The food was fantastic, couldn’t fault any of it. Incredible variety with different dishes on offer each evening, attention to detail and spotless. The restaurant staff are just wonderful, work really hard to make everyone’s holiday special, always smiling, welcoming and very efficient offering exceptional service. Well, where do I start, what a wonderful time we had at the Eva Palace, we were All Inclusive, so relaxing, the hotel is beautiful. The staff are so attentive, nothing is too much trouble, and they are always happy and smiling and chatty.. Our room overlooked the sea and towards their sister hotel the Imperial, it was very clean, bigger than we expected and the bed was extremely comfortable, the room was cleaned daily. The food was lovely, and the cocktails absolutely gorgeous. We ate one evening in the Steak and Sushi restaurant, we felt like celebrities , the staff were again very friendly and attentive and was offered Champagne as we walked in. We eat our lunch in the La Contessa restaurant mostly outside on the terrace again could not fault the food and drink or staff. There is a beach bar and again lovely staff, the beach is lovely and they walk around asking if anyone would like a drink brought to them, Pina Colada on the beach.....bliss. They also offer a courtesy mini bus to Corfu Town about 20 minutes away depending on traffic, but you do have to book this. I would say and they do mention this that it would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues as there are an awful lot of steps, which didn't bother us, we were on the 4th floor but never used the lift, and about 80 steps down to the pools and beach. My only ****** is that the food could have been a little hotter, but that's it. We would definitely go back to this hotel at some point, it was one of our best holidays and we go on a lot.

Absolutely stunning. We’re fussy when it comes to choosing a holiday. Eva palace was amazing. The location is incredible. The bay is beautiful. Water taxis to the neighbouring sister hotels. Shuttles to Corfu town. The food was great, staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We had a villa overlooking the sea. Would highly recommend.

The essence of the Eva Palace is pure joy,an experience not to be missed. We had the warmest welcome from Kyriokos who was so very charming,he gave us all the relevant info about the hotel & promptly showed us to our room. The room was spacious with a balcony &the amazing views which we enjoyed daily. The pool & surrounding area was beautiful with amazing service from the pool bar staff.The food in the buffer restaurant was delicious & well presented for both breakfast & dinner,the fresh fruit,salads & the best yogurt ever was my favourite,the staff were very efficient & friendly. The Hotel has a lovely vibe & ambience due to it's tasteful decor & caring staff,we really enjoyed the Lobby Bar the perfect place to relax any time of the day a great place to meet & greet with a glass of fizz. We were very surprised there was no music channel in the room,which is a basic requirement surely!!The Wi Fi was very hit & miss and is the only visible problem. So a big thank you to all the excellent staff not forgetting the ones behind the scenes who make the Eva Palace a must go to holiday destination. Finally a special thank you to Kyriokos Daras who is a great ambassador to the Hotel with his heartfelt demeanour & professionalism in his field of customer relations. We had a splendid holiday and one we will be thinking of often.

Located in small bay.On arrival we were greeted by lovely friendly staff.welcome drinks sat In reception area overlooking the fabulous bay.checking in was a long process not sure why but we waited a good four hours for our room. We had a panoramic sea view room which was fantastic. The room spotless super bed and shower excellent. Beach bar lovely area to sit super friendly staff.excellent food and drinks.Breakfast good selection of everything to suit everyone. You will need transport if leaving hotel. There is a shuttle bus into Corfu town daily. Taxis available at 30€ each way to town. Local tavernas within walking distance also. We hired a moped so explored the island.super hotel. Would highly recommend it.
