You are always wary of the quality of restaurants in hugely popular tourist destinations as it does not always equate in this 'les plus beaux villages de France'. However we were pleasantly surprised with a four course seafood menu in addition to a smoked haddock terrine as an amuse bouche. There was trout and avocado followed by tuna tartare.The main dish was 'lotte' a well known Brittany fish.It was little dry or perhaps fresh frozen rather than fresh.However it was accompanied by a vegetable flan.The dessert was interesting as it was a deconstructed tiramisu - very creative The service was excellent - professional engaging and with humour

The food was good and the people who worked there were nice. So actually this hotel could get 4 stars. When I booked 3 nights here, we were told in writing that they had two different rooms at either 81 Euro per night or 97 Euro per night. We booked a room at 81 Euro per night and received confirmation by email that they had reserved a room at 81 Euro per night for 3 nights. My wife paid when we left and had not thought more about the price until after we had driven on for about 1 hour. When she said what she had paid, we looked at the receipt and it turned out that she had paid 97 Euros per night instead of the 81 Euros that had been agreed. I sent an email as soon as we arrived at the next accommodation and asked for a refund of what we had paid too much, but did not receive a response from the hotel. Sent 2 new emails without receiving a reply. Was unsure if there was something wrong with the email to the hotel and sent an email from another email but to the same email address at the hotel. There I pretended to book a room and then I got an answer right away. They were then revealed and had to respond to my previous emails. Then they wrote that I had stayed in a superior room and it cost 97 Euro. If I had stayed in such a room, it would not have mattered. I had booked and received confirmation that we were going to stay in a room for 81 Euro. I have this by e-mail. Also, we stayed in a small room and with a tiny little bathroom. And they had other rooms that were bigger, so I do not believe that we stayed in a so-called superior room. But they refuse to repay what they owe us and here is the case. When I booked the room, I asked if I should book directly with them or through Logis. They replied that I could order directly. I regret this now. Had I ordered through Logis, this would not have happened. We have lived in many places, but never experienced anything like it.

Beautifully furnished downstairs area, including seating for dinner outside at the front and in the garden at the back. Rooms are comfortable and have a great view. The food is delicious and reflects the local area.
