"The rooms are very nice and the environment is beautiful. Sitting on the balcony of the room, listening to birds, drinking a little wine, and admiring the lights of Lugano Lake and the mountain homes on the opposite side, it is really a treat.
The room is equipped with an electric kettle, shampoo, and shower gel. You need to bring your own dental appliances and slippers."

"Hotel location is very good, just by the lake. If you have luggage, it is best to take the 4 bus directly from the train station to the hotel, because the train station is on the top of the mountain, and it is the hotel to walk 650 meters downhill to the foot of the mountain.
The front desk staff of the hotel is very good, very warm and thoughtful, the focus is that the boys are very handsome and the girls are very beautiful.
After check-in, ask the hotel front desk to ask for a free bus card, because they have to register the message to print, and then you can take the bus casually.
Hotel breakfast is good, especially the location by the window, facing the lake is very pleasant.
In such a beautiful environment in Lugano, it is indeed a great experience to take a walk by the lake, enjoy the sun with the relaxing people, stay in such a long and good hotel, and meet such a wonderful person."

"Beautiful, right near the lake with a restaurant and bar. Owner is lovely and takes great pride in making sure your stay is great.
Why there’s 4 stars - location is a far walk from the downtown, and there were little ants in the room. It was great for us but if you can’t handle that this wouldn’t be for you."

"The room is from the new only TV. Everything else is a collection of old unnecessary furniture. The windows come out to the bar and in the evening very noisy. The general bathroom is not in a better condition either. The location - until the station 2 km, the rest is closer, but Lugano as a whole is a small city.
I would also like to note some cold in reception"

JJun JieLuganodante definitely like you (us)! Staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. Room is clean and cosy. Had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant/bistro - flame grill - awesome service! The only regret was staying there for just one night, wish we had stayed longer. Will definitely choose to stay at Luganodante again if we are back. Thank you team!
IMPORTANT TIP: please take the funicular - Lugano Città - from the Lugano Stazione to the hotel (just stop outside the hotel, very convenient). If feeling adventurous, proceed to enjoy the walk/hike down to the hotel from the station.

MMichaelIf you are booking a luxury hotel in Lugano, there is no other option for me. While it’s not right in the middle of the City, it’s in a nice and quiet area and the 10-15 minute walk to the city is great for settling the stomach after eating to much pizza. The grounds are simply stunning, the views are amazing, the breakfast buffet is not amazing but very good (Although the woman who seat you could smile a bit more, all the other staff at breakfast are great). The private Lido is awesome.
I will never stay at another hotel in Lugano for our annual summer trip, it has won my loyalty for life.

Breakfast is a wonderful meal but without vegetables, very limited for such a luxury hotel, the staff is great, we had dinner not so special for the prices.

AAdelIf you want to use the budget Ibis, I do not recommend it at all, as the value of money does not suit the service provided. I do not recommend this hotel at all. There is no air conditioning, and if there is an air conditioner, it is shared, and you cannot control its cold. The room temperature was 40 degrees Celsius.😠 Overall 1 of 5
But the other IBIS hotel in the same building is better but not recommended also. The hotel location very good, brackets good. Overall 2 of 5 .

GGuest UserThe apartment-style kitchen does not come with any usable kitchen utensils. You need to borrow it from the hotel for an additional fee and you cannot swipe your card. You have to pay cash in Swiss francs. If you take transportation, you need to walk up a small slope every time you enter and exit. The breakfast is good and delicious, and the service staff is very nice. Great

AAnonymous UserConvenient location within 10 minutes walk from the train station and bus terminal. Local bus stops just outside the train station and can get to Lugano Centro and Monte Bre easily.
The hotel is located up the slope facing the train station. There's a view of the train station from our room but it's not nosiy once the wooden doors of the balcony are closed.

GGuest UserThe accommodation is top notch in all areas. The only thing that irritated us a little at the beginning was the unattended reception. But the online check-in worked really well. We were able to get into our room at 2 p.m. instead of 3 p.m. As we wanted separate beds and these were only available in the higher category, we were simply ”upgraded”, simply top notch. The extra bed for our 5-year-old daughter was also super comfortable. Everything was extremely clean and the daily cleaning was great. We are and were simply delighted. We will definitely be back. Thank you for the lovely welcome.

Conveniently located: near bus stops, within walking distance of the supermarket migros and denner (it is worth considering that they close early enough), if you do not have time to shop, you can go to the minimarket at the gas station. There is air conditioning, a kitchen with everything you need, a table and chairs, so you can have dinner in your room. There is no TV, it is, in principle, not particularly needed. We liked everything, I recommend the hotel

KKangNot far from the Lugano train station, there is a bus directly to the city of Lugano at the doorstep, which is quite convenient. The interior of the room is older, but it is clean and air conditioned, making it quite comfortable. Breakfast costs only 10 Swiss francs, but there are fewer choices.
