Highly recommended. Because price is worth. The room is spacious and clean. The location is very convenient to explore Melaka and very accessible to good restaurants and cafe since it is just on the street next to Jonker Street. The environment is also not noisy so that we could fully relaxed.

This hotel is in the perfect location. Just 2 minutes walk to Jonker Street. Friendly staff, clean hotel and our stay here was very pleasant. Restaurants are just located outside the hotel and therefore, there is no need to use your car to get around Jonker Street area. Best part is that they have a car park that is free for hotel guests - see photo. We will definitely come back to this hotel to stay for my next Melaka vacation. Highly recommended for those of you that wants to stay within walking distance to Jonker Street.

The room is very comfortable and the service is also very good and considerate👍🏻It is recommended to put a hair dryer in each room😂 The location of the hotel is very good. Jonker Street is just outside. You can choose here for a short trip. It is clean and comfortable.

The location is very good.

The room is big. However, there is a problem with the remote control of the air conditioner, and the temperature cannot be adjusted. I wanted to use the phone in the room to contact the waiter, only to find that the phone was broken. If you want anything, you need to go to the front desk and say it in person. In the evening, I found that the water coming out of the faucet of the washbasin in the bathroom was hot, and I complained to the service staff, but it was not fixed until noon the next day. The hotel customer service was very considerate and changed the room for us. This time it was a disaster.

This is the third time, revisiting the old place, it feels like home, the attitude of the boss and staff is good!

I have been staying at Cheng Ho Residence for years, my favourite. 4 things to improve, pls defroze freezer, make sure tv works, make sure that aircon not warm on Day 1, get Grab recognise Cheng Ho Residence as a location. I like its big room, bathtube, near Jonker Walk.

Grab does not recognise Cheng Ho Residence as a location on its Grab map, the owner was aware. The switch between shower and bath was faulty, lubricating does not work. The aircon shuts down by itself betwen 1-2am making the room warm and stuff, causing me to wake up in the middle of the night.

There is no lift in the hotel, not so suitable for senior citizens to claim 3 floors of stairs.
